Mu Qing was trapped in a factory, surrounded by timed bombs, with only five minutes left until detonation. At the same time, Mr. Ou confronted Rong Yu, who was impersonating his daughter Ou Kexin, revealing he knew her true identity. He accused her and Mu Qing of perfectly collaborating to infiltrate his organization and eliminate his men.

He gave her a choice: come with him on his boat or Mu Qing would be blown up and she would be killed by him. Rong Yu, desperate to save Mu Qing, took all the blame, saying she was the one who used Mu Qing and that he knew nothing. She agreed to go with Mr. Ou if he would spare Mu Qing. Mr. Ou, surprisingly, agreed and told her to get on the ship.

Meanwhile, Mu Qing fired his gun inside the factory, which alerted Zheng Ke and his team. Zhao Ran recognized Mu Qing's voice and, following Mu Qing's shouted passcode "258137," managed to open the vault door, freeing him just moments before the bombs exploded. On the boat, Rong Yu desperately confronted Mr. Ou. She saw the factory explode on a monitor and, believing Mu Qing to be dead, collapsed in despair, unaffected even when Mr. Ou pointed a gun at her.

As police surrounded the pier, Rong Yu tearfully pleaded with Mr. Ou to surrender, reminding him of his real daughter's love, evidenced by the words "To my dad" embroidered on suits she made for him in France. Rong Yao called out to Mr. Ou, creating a distraction. A sniper then shot Mr. Ou's arm. As Mr. Ou fell, he attempted to retrieve a sleeve pin, but police quickly stopped him.

Rong Yu picked up the sleeve pin, accidentally pricking herself, then collapsed. Mr. Ou, captured, saw Mu Qing emerge alive from the factory, his eyes filled with hatred. Rong Yu was then rushed to the hospital. Later, Director Liu interrogated Mr. Ou. Mr. Ou acknowledged Director Liu's strategic prowess in their long-standing game of wits but expressed disdain for using familial bonds as a tactic.

Director Liu retorted, pointing out Mr. Ou's drug trafficking had shattered countless families, making him unfit to speak of kinship. Unfazed, Mr. Ou warned Director Liu not to be overconfident, asserting that even an insignificant pawn could turn the tide of a battle. Separately, a subordinate delivered a note to Li Ruosheng from Mr. Ou. The instructions stated that if Li Ruosheng couldn't contact Mr. Ou after a transaction, he should retrieve certain items from a specified location.

Li Ruosheng realized this was an instruction for him to facilitate a deal with Spectre. Li Ruosheng met Spectre and, initially mistaking her for a man, quickly corrected himself to "Ms. Spectre." He apologized for his error and explained that Mr. Ou, due to recent heightened security, had sent him to conduct the meeting. Spectre expressed impatience, stating she had limited time.

Li Ruosheng assured her that as the current head of Group K, the agreement was valid, and he would ensure the first shipment of goods reached Yungang. He promised to arrange her safe departure from Yungang once the transaction was complete. After the meeting, Li Ruosheng retrieved an additional message from a locker, which shockingly revealed that if Mr. Ou was unreachable, it meant Mu Qing was an undercover agent.

Disturbed by this revelation, Li Ruosheng repeatedly tried to call Mr. Ou and Rong Yu but failed. He then deliberately called Mu Qing, mentioning Spectre to test his reaction. Mu Qing, however, maintained his cover, feigning ignorance of Spectre. After hanging up, Mu Qing immediately contacted Rong Yao to have Li Ruosheng monitored and prepare for Spectre's capture. Meanwhile, Li Ruosheng, heartbroken by Mu Qing's deception, wiped his teary eyes and threw his phone out the car window.

At the hospital, Rong Yao and Li Yimeng visited Rong Yu. Li Yimeng held Rong Yao's hand, comforting him that everything would eventually return to normal. Inside, Mu Qing and Rong Yu, having endured immense hardship, shared an emotional embrace. When Rong Yao and Li Yimeng entered, both Mu Qing and Rong Yu affectionately addressed Li Yimeng as "sister-in-law," a title Rong Yao tacitly accepted.

Rong Yao informed Mu Qing that Spectre had indeed arrived in Yungang and that their undercover identities were likely compromised. He also noted that Li Ruosheng was now Spectre's only point of contact. Mu Qing proposed to approach Li Ruosheng himself, believing his deep understanding of Li Ruosheng would allow him to handle any unexpected situations. Rong Yao and the team agreed.

Mu Qing went to the dark web's previous location but found it deserted, confirming Li Ruosheng had moved all the equipment. Later, Li Ruosheng's subordinate reported that Mu Qing had visited and was looking for him. Li Ruosheng instructed his subordinate to prepare the people and things for their planned action. Concurrently, Spectre, noticing Mr. Ou's prolonged absence, suspected something was amiss and informed Li Ruosheng of her intention to leave Yungang the following morning.

Li Ruosheng dismissed her concerns, claiming Mr. Ou was merely busy and the situation was too tense for him to appear. He urged Spectre to stay a few more days, promising to arrange her departure once the "coast was clear," then ordered his men to keep a close watch on her. Later, Rong Yu and Mu Qing had a heart-to-heart conversation. Rong Yu confessed that after all her experiences, she no longer felt like the old Rong Yu.

Mu Qing reassured her of his unwavering love, telling her she would always be his Rong Yu. She then recounted how she became Ou Kexin: after being disfigured in an explosion three years prior, she volunteered to join the Skylark Project, which aimed to use Ou Kexin to infiltrate Group K and apprehend Spectre. Since her appearance and age were similar to the deceased Ou Kexin, she proposed undergoing plastic surgery to assume Ou Kexin's identity.

She spent three years meticulously learning Ou Kexin's every mannerism, finding Ou Kexin's acute fashion sense and artistic passion the most challenging aspects to master. Mu Qing playfully teased her, pointing out her historical lack of artistic inclination.
