> My Dear GuardianĀ  Recap

During a joint military drill, Liang Muze's Blue Team observes the maneuvers of the opposing Red Team, which includes Xia Chu and Xiao Xiao. As Liang Muze's Team Thunder, disguised and hidden, follows a Red Team convoy, one of the convoy's vehicles, which Xia Chu is helping to push, gets stuck. Xia Chu spots Liang Muze and discreetly warns him to be more careful next time.

Liang Muze, recognizing Xia Chu, asks about mutual acquaintances and mentions Songpaisarn, who left the military to become a mercenary and was later killed in an encounter with Chinese troops. Liang Muze hands Xia Chu a photo found on Songpaisarn's body, asking her to pass it to his family. That night, Liang Muze's Team Thunder silently approaches Red Team's infantry reconnaissance, with Fox and Koala neutralizing the sentries.

They successfully acquire the Red Team's strategy map, and Liang Muze decides to use it to launch a bold offensive. The Blue Team's actions, including seizing communication network information, lead to severe electronic interference against the Red Team, prompting an order for an air strike from the enraged Red Team commander. However, one of Blue Team's communication vehicles remains unharmed and continues to disrupt Red Team's signals.

Meanwhile, Long Yi finally brings Tian Yong to Old Master at the T4 Headquarters in Isaia. Old Master immediately recognizes Tian Yong and reveals he knows Tian Yong was a top special forces soldier from China. Tian Yong admits his past, explaining he made a mistake, served time in jail, and now seeks a new start. He claims Long Yi informed him of an opportunity with Old Master.

When Old Master questions what Tian Yong can offer, Tian Yong confidently states he has extensive connections, channels, and access to significant funds from various bosses. He boasts he can find markets for all of Old Master's illicit trades, including weapons, organs, and intelligence, promising immediate access to anything Old Master desires. Deeply suspicious of how Tian Yong managed to bring such a large sum of cash safely across borders, Old Master presses him to reveal who sent him.

Tian Yong defiantly replies, "Money. Money sent me here." Unsatisfied, Old Master orders his men to take Tian Yong away. After losing Tian Yong's tracking signal, Rao Feng attempts to contact Zhuo Ran but receives no response. Sun Xiao Mo is dispatched to locate Zhuo Ran. It is soon discovered that Zhuo Ran is missing, having used a 3D mask of his own face worn by a male staff member to create a decoy in his office.

Long Yi confronts Zhuo Ran, who is at T4 Headquarters, accusing him of knowingly bringing Tian Yong—a special forces member and police undercover agent—to Old Master. Long Yi also believes Zhuo Ran deliberately fueled Old Master's suspicions about Tian Yong and Long Yi himself. Zhuo Ran, however, reveals his true motive: he remotely controlled Hospital 109's computers to access Tian Yong's organ donation records, discovering Tian Yong's blood type and heart are a perfect match for his mother.

He believes Tian Yong can save her life. Long Yi states that Old Master has thrown Tian Yong into a well, but Zhuo Ran is certain Tian Yong will survive. Zhuo Ran asserts that Old Master will not spare either of them and instructs Long Yi to rescue Tian Yong when the police finally arrest Old Master.

When Long Yi questions why he should comply, Zhuo Ran explains that taking Tian Yong will provide an added layer of protection for their escape, and that Old Master would not go through such elaborate measures if he intended to simply kill Tian Yong. Zhuo Ran promises to handle everything else once Tian Yong is rescued, threatening Long Yi's life if he fails, and mentioning that he still possesses Tang Lin's stolen information which he withheld from Old Master.

Back at the headquarters, the Bureau Chief shows Rao Feng an inquiry statement from Professor Xia Guang Yuan of Dong'an University's Institute of Chemistry. The statement details how Zhuo Ran had framed Professor Xia Guang Yuan for drug possession and implicated his assistant, while also repeatedly stealing formulas for a medical sedative and clinical trial data. This revelation confirms Zhuo Ran's true purpose for traveling between Ningjiang and Dong'an.

Upon learning Tian Yong has likely been exposed, Rao Feng proposes seeking international cooperation and forming a joint military-police task force for an immediate overseas rescue mission. However, the Bureau Chief advises against immediate action, citing the lack of concrete evidence against Old Master that would justify an international operation. Instead, he instructs Rao Feng to continue tracking Tian Yong's whereabouts while he reports the situation to higher authorities, awaiting official approval for any cross-border intervention.

Liang Muze's Team Thunder, having captured a Red Team defensive tank and obtained Red Team armbands for disguise, targets the Red Team's Special Forces Brigade. Despite his team's initial apprehension about attacking a brigade of over two thousand with only a small unit, Liang Muze takes command of the tank, instructing a teammate to act as his lieutenant.

They infiltrate the Red Team's Special Forces Brigade base under the pretense of needing to refuel their "stray" tank, whose communications were purportedly jammed by the Blue Team. Once inside, Liang Muze confirms the location of the brigade headquarters and immediately fires the tank's cannon at it. This audacious move infuriates the Red Team commander, whose blood pressure spikes, and he orders his troops to "turn the training ground upside down" and "arrest Liang Muze."

Xia Chu, observing the chaos, is teased by Xiao Xiao about Liang Muze's bold actions, but Xia Chu downplays her connection. Liang Muze and his team are subsequently seen planting a bomb and preparing to re-enter the captured tank. Meanwhile, at T4 Headquarters, Zhuo Ran takes his mother, believing they are escaping as police raid the building.

However, Old Master reveals this was an elaborate deception, confirming that Long Yi had revealed everything, and the entire "raid" was orchestrated to expose Zhuo Ran as a "ghost" within his organization. Old Master asserts his absolute control, reminding Zhuo Ran that he is the one who sets the rules. Old Master then offers Zhuo Ran a cruel choice: he can exchange Xia Guang Yuan's research for his mother's safety.

He also tempts Zhuo Ran with Tian Yong, suggesting that Zhuo Ran could use Tian Yong to mitigate his own criminal charges with the Chinese police. Old Master instructs Zhuo Ran to return to China, promising to provide him with manpower to secure the research. After Zhuo Ran's departure, Old Master continues to interrogate Tian Yong, who remains imprisoned in a well.

Old Master ridicules Tian Yong's stubbornness, and despite Tian Yong's claims of being sent by Long Yi, Old Master questions how much the Chinese police truly know about him.

As Tian Yong defiantly offers to gather information if sent back to China, Old Master orders his men to use force, threatening to grant them freedom if they succeed in breaking Tian Yong, emphasizing that even a Chinese Special Forces soldier can yield under pressure, and warning Tian Yong to call out if he cannot endure the torture, which includes a grenade launcher.
