Luo Tianran and Jin Zeyi shared a delightful and romantic time at the ice rink, making it a truly memorable birthday for Luo Tianran. Meanwhile, Tiffany attended Mr. Shi's banquet, where she skillfully negotiated a reality show contract for Jin Zeyi. She drank quite a bit to seal the deal. Upon leaving, she called a designated driver, only for Lin Che to arrive.

Lin Che had previously attempted to return the money left over from car repairs to Tiffany, but she had refused. As a result, Lin Che started delivering breakfast to her company daily, which led to their frequent interactions. As Lin Che drove, Tiffany expressed her frustration about encountering him everywhere, remarking that he was just a "little boy." Lin Che, however, rejected the label, asserting that while he was younger, the age gap was not significant.

He then opened her car door and fastened her seatbelt. The next day, Lin Che again brought breakfast. Typically, Tiffany would discard the breakfast he brought, as she did not have a habit of eating it. However, this time, she accepted the meal and ate it all with a smile. Jin Zeyi even noticed her improved mood. Tiffany informed Jin Zeyi about the reality show, but he refused to participate, saying he wanted to focus on his music.

Tiffany insisted, arguing that the company had put a lot of effort into his career and that he was being childish. Jin Zeyi remained firm, instructing her to decline the offer. Later, Luo Tianran called Jin Zeyi, urging him to come home because his mother and grandmother had visited, bringing three "real geese" and asking them to return to the old family house for their annual flower planting.

Once at the Jin family courtyard, Grandma began instructing Luo Tianran on how to be a good wife, lamenting her outfit and her failure to bring a gift. Jin Zeyi defended Luo Tianran, who then cleverly offered to sing her "Little Red Elephant" song as a present. Luo Tianran diligently started doing chores, while Jin Zeyi amused himself by teasing her.

While feeding the geese, Jin Zeyi tried to feed Luo Tianran an orange, but she playfully told him to feed it to the geese instead. As Luo Tianran prepared to start a fire for cooking, Jin Zeyi teased her and suggested using a gas stove. Seeing his teasing, Luo Tianran told Grandma that Jin Zeyi was eager to make fish soup for her. Delighted, Grandma happily led Luo Tianran away to plant flowers, leaving Jin Zeyi to his "cooking" duties.

Grandma gave Luo Tianran a pot of soil with "baby's breath" seeds, explaining that the flowers symbolize happiness and longing. She told Luo Tianran to nurture them until they bloomed, promising to reveal the deeper meaning then, recounting how Jin Zeyi's grandfather had won her heart with a similar gesture. Meanwhile, Luo Tianran checked on Jin Zeyi’s fish soup and found the fish still alive in the pot. Ultimately, Luo Tianran prepared the entire meal herself.

Grandma, showing clear favoritism, critiqued all of Luo Tianran’s dishes as either too salty or too bland, but effusively praised the fish soup, believing Jin Zeyi had made it. Luo Tianran, unwilling to let the bias stand, revealed that she had made the fish soup. Startled, Grandma accidentally choked on a fish bone. Jin Zeyi and Luo Tianran rushed Grandma to the hospital. Jin Wen examined her, assuring them it was not a serious issue.

Luo Tianran tearfully apologized, blaming herself, but Jin Wen subtly indicated that Jin Zeyi was the one at fault. Jin Zeyi, already at odds with Jin Wen, quickly found an excuse to leave the hospital. Luo Tianran stayed to care for Grandma. Upon waking, Grandma continued to chastise Luo Tianran, criticizing her lack of manners and her inability to contribute to Jin Zeyi's career, questioning why her grandson married such a "silly wife."

Overwhelmed, Luo Tianran began to cry, expressing her frustration at Grandma’s persistent dislike despite her efforts to please her. Softening, Grandma denied disliking her and sang "Three Tigers" to console her. Luo Tianran responded with "Little Red Elephant," and they sang together happily, seemingly reconciling. When Jin Wen re-entered the room, Grandma quickly regained her serious demeanor, and Luo Tianran soon left to let Grandma rest. In the hospital lobby, Luo Tianran encountered Yun Shu.

As they greeted each other, they witnessed a commotion at the front desk: an agitated female patient, suffering from severe burns, was accusing the hospital of disfiguring her face and demanded an explanation from the lead doctor. When the patient pulled out a knife and lunged, Yun Shu instinctively raised his arm to shield the doctor, sustaining a deep gash. Other medical staff quickly intervened, guiding the patient back to her room.

Luo Tianran accompanied Yun Shu to the emergency room for stitches, expressing deep concern for his injury. To comfort him, Luo Tianran placed her headphones on his ears, intending to play music. This act triggered a vivid memory for Yun Shu: a childhood moment when he was bullied, and a kind, cheerful girl came to his rescue, playing him music his father had recorded. In that moment, Yun Shu, realizing the familiar feeling he’d always had around Luo Tianran, recognized that she was the very same girl from his past.
