He confessed his love and asked her to be his girlfriend, which she accepted. Overjoyed, Yin Yibo echoed her acceptance. They recalled Chen Ye’s strange late-night visits, his evasiveness, and the fact that he was carrying toiletries, soon realizing he might be living at the office. To execute the plan, Chen Musen was tasked with keeping Chen Ye away from the office. Chen Musen called Chen Ye, fabricating an urgent need to discuss a new project.
Chen Ye, however, quickly noticed Chen Musen's uncharacteristic focus on work and his constant checking of his phone. Pressing him for the truth, Chen Ye revealed that he had already suspected an internal mole. Under pressure, Chen Musen confessed their plan and their suspicion, which stemmed from discovering that Mars Animation had used original drafts that were never released to them. Chen Ye confronted Damai, demanding to know why he betrayed them. Damai confessed that the company's irregular pay made him unable to afford rent, forcing him to borrow from a moneylender. Yin Yike countered that Flower World needed a trustworthy partner to build its "animation kingdom," not a "wolf" like Mars. Impressed by Yin Yike’s conviction, Xu Yuan asked what price Yin Yike was willing to pay to help Xu Guangxi and set a condition: all employees of Chen Ye’s company, especially Xu Guangxi, must relocate to Guangzhou to work with her.
Later, Qin Yiran spoke to Chen Yu, reassuring him that she wasn't abandoning him, but that he would eventually live with his father. When Chen Ye arrived, Yiran confronted him, asking if he had sold his house. She mentioned the building cleaner had seen him using the company’s public restroom for personal hygiene.
