Chu Xuanji believed Yu Sifeng's words, but before sleeping, Chu Xuanji still involuntarily thought of Yu Sifeng's kiss. And Yu Sifeng was still struggling with Chu Xuanji's true feelings for him. Xiao Yinhua tried to sneak into the Tianxu Hall to deliver a message for Yu Sifeng. Yu Sifeng told her to be careful.

Chu Xuanji woke up early and learned that her father and several other sect leaders had gone to the Xuanyuan Sect to check things out, in order to investigate matters regarding the Tianxu Hall. As for Linglong and Xiao Liu Zi, there was still no news. Yu Sifeng originally specifically looked for Chu Xuanji to talk, but Chu Xuanji remembered Hao Chen's words about keeping a distance from Yu Sifeng.

When Chu Xuanji saw Yu Sifeng, her face turned red and her heart pounded, so she avoided him. After Hao Chen sent Chu Xuanji away, he warned Yu Sifeng not to pester Chu Xuanji anymore. He said that Chu Xuanji lacked all six senses and could not give Yu Sifeng the answer he wanted. But in Yu Sifeng's eyes, Chu Xuanji was not completely heartless or unfeeling.

Hao Chen further advised Yu Sifeng that mortal love was meaningless, and that Chu Xuanji had more important things to accomplish and would not be trapped by petty emotions. Yu Sifeng still didn't believe him. Hao Chen could only provoke Yu Sifeng by saying that Chu Xuanji growing the heart lamp was not because of him. Chu Lei, Dongfang Qingqi, and the Deputy Palace Master went together to the Xuanyuan Sect.

However, they saw the Xuanyuan Sect in a desolate state. Fortunately, Zhu Shi was still alive. The other sect leaders cast spells to help Zhu Shi recover. It turned out that the people from the Tianxu Hall had locked Zhu Shi in the Treasure Pavilion that day, forcing him to reveal the location of the spirit key. Zhu Shi managed to escape a calamity because the divine weapon Full Moon Skyblade in the Treasure Pavilion protected him.

Although Zhu Shi had survived temporarily, the Xuanyuan Sect's millennium-old foundation was destroyed in an instant. Now restored to his original state, Zhu Shi wanted to reclaim his sect's spirit key. The others, considering that the Tianxu Hall coveted the spirit key, were unwilling to return it now as it would not be safe for Zhu Shi. Zhu Shi knew that the Xuanyuan Sect had no power left and could only be manipulated, so he left indignantly.

Yu Sifeng knew that Chu Xuanji was worried about Xiao Liu Zi and Linglong, so he comforted her, saying they should first resolve the current matters before discussing their feelings for each other. The two wanted to get some information about the Tianxu Hall through Zhu Shi and find some clues to locate Linglong and Xiao Liu Zi, but Zhu Shi claimed he knew very little.

Yu Sifeng heard that Yu Ning was skilled in divination, so he took Chu Xuanji to find Yu Ning for a reading. It turned out that Zhu Shi was just the steward of Fuyu Island who had transformed, specifically to trick the other sects into handing over their spirit keys. And the steward was a member of the Tianxu Hall, colluding with Qing Rong to plot for the spirit keys.

Qing Rong was blinded by love and only thought about being affectionately with the steward. Her bewitching of Dongfang Qingqi was also for the steward's sake. The steward planned to use Chu Xuanji to obtain the spirit key. The two worked together, using two approaches, to conspire for evil. Chu Xuanji took out the head flower that Xiao Liu Zi had given her to ask about.

Yu Sifeng saw the head flower and remembered that Chu Xuanji had previously mentioned her favorite color, and his heart stirred, thinking that Chu Xuanji still liked Xiao Liu Zi. The divination result also showed great danger for Xiao Liu Zi. Chu Xuanji was worried about the safety of Linglong and Xiao Liu Zi, but Yu Sifeng seemed to have misunderstood again.

Hao Chen believed that all the people from the Xuanyuan Sect had taken the Tianxu Hall's secret medicine, and even if Zhu Shi survived, he would definitely be riddled with poisons. But the current Zhu Shi was completely fine, which made Hao Chen suspicious about whether Zhu Shi was real. Xiao Liu Zi was rescued by villagers down the mountain and finally woke up after being in a coma for several days.

Yu'er was caught by Shao Yang disciples, but she was just there to inform Xiao Liu Zi where Linglong was imprisoned. After escaping from Liu Yihuan, Yu'er originally went with a group of minor demons to seek refuge with the Tianxu Hall. At the Tianxu Hall, she saw Linglong being captured, but although she wished to save Linglong, she was powerless against the Tianxu Hall.

Xiao Liu Zi was anxious to find Linglong, so he and Yu'er went ahead to scout out the situation. His fellow disciples went back to inform their master. Xiao Yinhua mixed into the Tianxu Hall and also learned about Linglong. She even found where Linglong was located, but Linglong's shackles could not be unlocked. Xiao Yinhua was anxious to find the Mirror of Ten Thousand Tribulations and Eight Desolations. Not long after, Wu Tong returned to the room.

Although Xiao Yinhua hid, Wu Tong seemed to have discovered Xiao Yinhua's tracks. Fortunately, Linglong was quick-witted and distracted Wu Tong. Xiao Yinhua wanted the Mirror of Ten Thousand Tribulations and Eight Desolations. After giving Linglong a dagger for self-defense, she temporarily left Linglong and followed Wu Tong. Wu Tong handed the Mirror of Ten Thousand Tribulations and Eight Desolations to the Hall Master of the Tianxu Hall.

The Hall Master was not satisfied that Wu Tong had destroyed the Xuanyuan Sect but failed to obtain the spirit key. Learning that Wu Tong had brought Linglong back to the Tianxu Hall, he ordered Wu Tong to cut off Linglong's arm to threaten the Five Major Sects. Linglong finally broke free and was about to escape, but Wu Tong returned and constantly tormented Linglong.

He showed her his scars and told Linglong to remember that he would always get his revenge. Hao Chen suspected that Zhu Shi had deliberately sought him out to test him and gave him a monster transformation pill to counteract the poison from the Tianxu Hall. Zhu Shi didn't reveal his true form immediately after taking Hao Chen's pill.

It turned out that the Solidifying Origin Amber given to him by the Hall Master was what saved the fake Zhu Shi from being exposed, which temporarily alleviated Hao Chen's suspicion. Wu Tong did not cut off Linglong's arm as the Hall Master requested. He used other minor demons instead. Wu Tong seemed to have developed an interest in Linglong and wanted to control and tame her.

Wu Tong became suspicious of the dagger Linglong used to cut her iron chains and was about to search for spies. Xiao Yinhua sent a message to Yu Sifeng. This way, three parties—Chu Xuanji and Yu Sifeng, Xiao Liu Zi and Yu'er, and Chu Lei—all began to rescue Linglong. To detect spies, Wu Tong forced newly recruited Tianxu Hall disciples to kill disciples of the righteous sects.

Unable to refuse, Xiao Yinhua had no choice but to pretend to severely injure a disciple to gain trust. However, when Xiao Liu Zi arrived, he witnessed everything and misunderstood Xiao Yinhua. Xiao Liu Zi's actions also drew Wu Tong's attention. Wu Tong relentlessly pursued Xiao Liu Zi. Fortunately, Xiao Yinhua blocked Wu Tong's attack for Xiao Liu Zi. Wu Tong was about to seize Xiao Yinhua for revenge, but luckily Yu Sifeng arrived in time, drove away Wu Tong, and rescued Xiao Yinhua.
