After Pei Su woke up from his coma, his neck was fixed so he couldn't move, and he could only watch Luo Weizhao eat. Tao Ze called to report on the progress, saying that he had found key evidence for Zheng Kaifeng. Luo Weizhao put the call on speakerphone so that Pei Su could understand the situation. Some residents reported to the investigation team that a rental house was emitting a strange smell.

Luo Weizhao guessed that the Pei family was similar to the Zhou family. Pei Su said Pei Chengyu was related to Guangyao Fund, but Pei Chengyu had a car accident three years ago, and he didn't think it was an accident. Luo Weizhao asked the third question, asking Pei Su why he didn't come to his home back then. Pei Su didn't speak, gripping the wine glass tightly. At night, neither of them could fall asleep.

Pei Su couldn't answer this question. Luo Weizhao hoped they could be honest with each other and that Pei Su could let go of his emotional burden and tell him. The next morning, after Pei Su woke up, he saw breakfast was ready on the table, but Luo Weizhao was nowhere to be seen. He quietly walked into the study, subconsciously opened the computer, wanting to unlock it but then hesitated. He saw the photo album on the table and remembered that Minister Du also had one, finally guessing that this matter might be related to Pan Yunheng, and quickly called Du Jia to check a list.
