Bai Cai learned that Bei Er had saved Wu Geng and specifically came to express her gratitude. Bei Er and Bai Cai talked about what it feels like to like someone. Bei Er confessed that the person she seemed to like was Wu Geng. Bai Cai told Bei Er that liking someone indeed feels this way, but two people can only be together if their hearts are connected and they like each other mutually.

Bai Cai also specifically told Bei Er that if the other person already likes someone else, then the two of them cannot be together. General An told Wu Geng that the warships would be completely upgraded before dark. The upgraded warships looked the same as the freighters transporting the bloodstone, but the warships were sturdier and could accommodate more warriors.

Ni Tianerxing led the Demon Clan, and the Kong Que Clan Leader led the Shenyin Clan to rendezvous with Wu Geng. Everyone discussed the route to the Immortal Domain. Bei Er also decided to help everyone pass the Sea Spirit Clan's inspection in the Lost Hidden Sea. Ni Tianerxing entrusted Wu Geng to take good care of the Demon Clan in the future.

Wu Geng pointed out that the Sea Spirit Clan's stationing in the Lost Hidden Sea was not their original intention. If they wanted to reclaim their freedom, he hoped the Sea Spirit King would grant them passage.

Seeing the Sea Spirit King remain stubborn, Bei Er took out the Water Control Token and, in the name of her ancestors, commanded the Sea Spirit Clan to open the way for Wu Geng. She could only accompany Wu Geng this far, and then Bei Er dissolved and disappeared before everyone's eyes.

The Sea Spirit King was heartbroken at the loss of his daughter and was overwhelmed with grief. Wu Geng gave the Water Control Token to the Sea Spirit King. He believed that Bei Er must have hoped that the Sea Spirit King would take over the Water Control Token and also take on the true responsibility of the Sea Spirit Clan. It was only after losing his daughter that the Sea Spirit King finally understood the freedom she desired. He personally cleared the way and granted passage for Wu Geng and the others and also looked forward to Wu Geng bringing the freedom that Bei Er wanted.
