The Six Great Gods led soldiers to the city gates. Wu Geng requested to fight the enemy alongside King Xin. The common people were moved and also joined in. Bai Cai and A Gou were separated by the crowd. Great God Gui Mu massacred many Xin soldiers. He was met by the arriving King Xin who cut off one of his arms. Gods and humans alike were shocked.

Gui Mu was furious and fought King Xin but had another leg cut off. Just as King Xin was about to finish off Gui Mu, he was struck flying by Great God Tian Kui. A Gou received guidance and ran towards the Star-Picking Tower. Finally, he fainted below the Star-Picking Tower. At the same time, King Xin and Tian Kui fought, evenly matched.

The gods could not believe that a mere mortal could contend with Tian Kui's Vajra Realm divine power. Tai Ji attacked, wanting to kill Wu Geng. Xin Yuehu appeared in time to protect him. Because Xin Yuehu used her divine power, Xin Yuekui also sensed Xin Yuehu's location. Wu Geng asked his mother why she possessed divine power. He also didn't understand why his father could fight against the Immortal Clan.

Seeing his father severely wounded, Wu Geng desperately tried to break into the Formless Realm divine power to help him. In this moment of crisis, Wu Geng's uncle, Zi Yu, arrived to assist.

He broke through Hei Long's Formless Realm divine power by refining Qi. He and King Xin, brothers, joined forces to fight Hei Long. Shi Xing attacked him. The two were evenly matched. King Xin burned through his blood, fighting a desperate battle. He also successfully injured Hei Long. The enraged Hei Long instantly tore apart the armor imbued with the immortal phoenix's divine power, and struck King Xin heavily to the ground.

King Xin dragged his heavily injured body, forcing himself to stand up. Ultimately, he died standing before Hei Long. Seeing King Xin was dead, Hei Long left with peace of mind. Zi Yu was distracted by his brother's death in battle. Shi Xing attacked and knocked him unconscious and took him away. Xin Yuehu used her divine power to allow Wu Geng and King Xin to have a final farewell.

King Xin told his son that Wu Geng would be the one to end the war. Therefore, Wu Geng must have the courage to fight against the Immortal Clan, and must live on strongly. King Xin did not regret meeting Xin Yuehu in this life. Before parting, he pleaded with Xin Yuehu to protect their child well. Meanwhile, the soldiers of the state of Bo attacked the state of Xin, massacring the people of Xin.

Zhou Qiao led his men to the Star-Picking Tower, wanting to capture Xin Yuehu and Wu Geng alive. But unexpectedly, they were dealt with instantly by the arriving Xin Yuekui. She also stated that although Wu Geng was the child of Xin Yuehu and a human, he was also a disgrace to the Immortal Clan. She then threatened her with Wu Geng's life. Seeing that Xin Yuekui was about to kill him, Xin Yuehu, enduring the pain, drew her sword and killed Wu Geng.
