Because of the Seal of the Dead, Shi Xing began a massive slaughter of the city residents, and even personally killed the woman he loved, Ming Yue. Before Ming Yue died, she told Shi Xing that she didn't blame him, that she had long anticipated this day. Every day and every moment she spent with Shi Xing was very happy, her only regret was not having seen the beautiful mountains and rivers with Shi Xing.

Understanding why Shi Xing had gone mad, Bai Cai believed that only Ming Yue could awaken Shi Xing. She decided to impersonate Ming Yue to awaken the light that had not yet been extinguished in Shi Xing's heart. Wu Geng asked A Lan to take Bai Cai to Ming Yue's room, while he would first hold off Shi Xing. Even though Wu Geng had skillfully mastered Qi Refinement, he was still no match for Shi Xing.

Shi Xing deduced that Zi Yu had expended his own Qi Refinement when helping Wu Geng earlier, which was why he couldn't severely injure him, but Zi Yu didn't regret his actions. Wu Geng didn't want to kill Shi Xing, but also didn't want the other party to become his obstacle. He wanted Shi Xing to fall into a deep sleep.

Bai Cai rushed over, wanting Shi Xing to find complete release, because she believed Shi Xing was also persecuted by the Immortal Clan. Bai Cai appeared before Shi Xing, dressed in the wedding gown Ming Yue wore that year. Shi Xing recalled how he met and fell in love with Ming Yue back then. Shi Xing promised to stand in a place where Ming Yue could reach out and find him. With him accompanying her, all her regrets would turn into happiness and beauty. And he would become Ming Yue's eyes, taking her to see the beautiful landscapes and the distinct four seasons.

Ming Yue accepted Shi Xing's marriage proposal, and the two agreed to get married on the fifteenth day, three days later. Shi Xing finally remembered that the woman he loved most was Ming Yue, but he had personally killed her. Shi Xing mistakenly took Bai Cai for Ming Yue, but unexpectedly, when Bai Cai came into contact with Shi Xing, she accidentally unlocked the Seal of the Dead on him.

Xin Yuekui saw that Bai Cai had unlocked the Seal of the Dead on Shi Xing and suspected that Bai Cai possessed ancient Divine Power. Gui Mu paid his respects to Great Elder Shenyan and told him that he had traced an ancient crystal in the human world which seemed to have reincarnated into a human woman, and this woman was accompanying King Xin's son, Wu Geng. But because Gui Mu had no evidence, he was ordered to find out the woman's whereabouts as soon as possible.
