Zhao Guanchao learned that Yan Mo and Zhao Qiaoyi had also broken up. Worried sick about Zhao Qiaoyi, he personally sought out Yan Mo to persuade him to reconcile with Zhao Qiaoyi. Eager to protect his sister, he warned Yan Mo, telling him not to fail Zhao Qiaoyi. Afterwards, Yan Mo proactively called Zhao Qiaoyi. Zhao Qiaoyi was doing chores at home. Hearing Yan Mo's call, she immediately rushed out of the house to meet Yan Mo.

Hao Wuyi's mother suddenly proposed wanting to visit Hao Wuyi's school, feeling guilty for neglecting her during her studies due to being busy with work.
Hao Wuyi took her mother for a stroll on campus, happily recounting bits and pieces from her school days. The two had a heart-to-heart talk on campus. Hao Wuyi's mother sat on a wheelchair, her face pale. For the first time, they opened up to each other, expressing their guilt towards each other. Hao Wuyi's mother also did her best to comfort Hao Wuyi, and instructed her not to be sad because of her departure in the future.
She would just be accompanying her in a different way, continuing to watch over and protect her. The two resolved all barriers and hugged each other tightly. Hao Wuyi hated herself, lamenting the saying "the child wishes to care for the parents, but they are no longer there." She could only do her best to accompany her mother while she was alive, washing her feet, reading to her by the bed, until her mother passed away.
Hao Wuyi held a funeral for her mother. At the funeral, Zhou Wei also handed Hao Wuyi a notebook that Hao Wuyi's mother had always carried with her. It was filled with photos of Hao Wuyi from her childhood. Hao Wuyi cried uncontrollably upon seeing it, realizing that her mother had always quietly kept her love in her heart. Zhao Qiaoyi and Yan Mo continued to bother Professor Li about the health bracelet issue. Professor Li still ignored them.
Yan Mo and Zhao Qiaoyi were also persistent and rented a house next door to Professor Li to stay there. To drive them away, Professor Li deliberately turned off their circuit breaker at night. Zhao Qiaoyi brought greeting gifts to the nearby neighbors, hoping to get closer to them to inquire about Professor Li.
