As Ka Suo and Li Luo knelt outside the palace, they exchanged sweet glances, reminiscing about the many life-and-death situations they had faced together. Meanwhile, on the Seven Saints Platform, the Ice King stood alone until the Ice Queen joined him. She noted that since Ying Kong Shi and Ka Suo began vying for the throne, countless incidents had occurred.

Now, with Ying Kong Shi wielding full power and Ka Suo's spiritual strength yet to fully recover, she suggested it might be safer for Ka Suo to leave temporarily, avoiding direct confrontation. The Ice King expressed his sorrow, feeling abandoned despite his lifelong dedication to the Ice Tribe and the Three Realms. He lamented that as he grew older, even his own son seemed unwilling to remain by his side.

The Ice Queen comforted him, reminding him that she was still there. He told her that marrying her was the best decision of his life. The Ice Queen then shared her belief that Li Luo loved Ka Suo more than herself, willing to sacrifice her own life for him, and hoped Ka Suo would receive his father's blessing for happiness.

The Ice King admitted he understood his son and recognized Li Luo as a good girl, but confessed his reluctance to let Ka Suo go. The Ice Queen gently reiterated that Ka Suo’s departure from City of Bladed Snow would truly keep him safe from all dangers. The Ice Queen then approached Ka Suo and Li Luo, who were still kneeling.

She urged them to rise, but Ka Suo firmly declared they would not get up until his father approved their marriage. Just then, the Ice King appeared and asked them to stand, saying he had something to say. He questioned Li Luo if she was willing to love Ka Suo and sacrifice everything for him, even her life, to which she readily agreed.

He then turned to Ka Suo, asking if he would continue to love Li Luo even if she were cursed and transformed into a beast. Ka Suo unequivocally affirmed his devotion. Seeing their steadfast resolve, the Ice King implicitly gave his blessing. The Ice Queen joyfully announced that Ka Suo’s father had agreed, and Ka Suo and Li Luo embraced happily. Ka Suo and Li Luo proceeded with a simple wedding ceremony.

During the celebration, someone teased Ka Suo about Li Luo marrying without a betrothal gift. Ka Suo then presented Li Luo with a rainbow bracelet he had crafted from her broken kite strings, adorned with bullet and knife-proof jewels, assuring her it wouldn't break this time. In another part of City of Bladed Snow, Lan Shang gazed mournfully at the sky, wishing she could be Ka Suo's bride that day.

She lamented that her imperfect self was no longer worthy of him, and silently bade farewell to the place she had once dreamed of sharing with him for a lifetime. Later, Li Luo shared with Ka Suo enchanting tales of the Mortal Realm: boundless grasslands, a clear blue lake that merged with the sky, antelopes and horses running free. She envisioned them building a tent, fishing by day, and watching the stars by night.

Ka Suo, though drawn to such a life, stated it wasn't the right time. Li Luo, ever supportive, simply replied that they would stay then. When Ka Suo asked why she didn't question his decision, Li Luo lovingly stated that as his future wife, she would go wherever he went. Ka Suo thanked her, then expressed his constant worry for Ying Kong Shi, suspecting a hidden reason behind his brother's urgent desire for him to leave.

Li Luo reassured him that whatever came, they would face it together with Ying Kong Shi. In the Forest of Snow and Fog, Li Luo awoke to the sound of children playing nearby. She followed the sounds to find Ying Kong Shi happily romping with two young Ice Tribe children. Observing him, Li Luo remarked that it had been a long time since she had seen him smile so genuinely. His smile, however, quickly faded upon seeing her.

He commented that mortals and gods alike grow harder to satisfy the more they pursue something, then advised Li Luo to return to the city for her wedding day. Li Luo conveyed Ka Suo’s longing and concern for him, but Ying Kong Shi merely offered a faint smile before turning and departing. At the Mermaid Clan’s palace, the Mermaid Saint was taken aback by Lan Shang’s dramatic change in attire.

Lan Shang, usually pure and graceful, now wore a black, enchanting gown. The Saint suggested it was inappropriate for Ka Suo’s wedding day, but Lan Shang countered that she dressed to please herself, not others, and felt she looked beautiful. Later, Lan Shang, still in her striking black dress, visited Li Luo, who was being adorned by Yue Shen and Chao Ya. Li Luo, looking radiant in her wedding attire, was showered with compliments.

Lan Shang congratulated Li Luo, observing that she seemed different. Lan Shang explained that besides being Ka Suo and Li Luo's special day, it was also her own. She then placed a necklace, Ka Suo’s love token for Li Luo, around Li Luo's neck and hugged her, wishing her and Ka Suo eternal happiness and love, adding that their wishes would surely come true.

During the wedding ceremony in the Royal Hall, the young Ice King, Ying Kong Shi, formally announced Ka Suo and Li Luo as husband and wife, declaring that none should come between them. As Ka Suo and Li Luo shared a loving embrace, Lan Shang watched them, her eyes brimming with tears, while the Mermaid Saint quietly offered her counsel, urging her to let go of the past and live a happier life from now on.

Ying Kong Shi noticed Lan Shang’s unusual behavior and secretly followed her as she left the hall. He found her by a beautiful crystal, channeling her spiritual power. He apologized to her, promising to marry her one day, making City of Bladed Snow her home. Lan Shang asked if he truly loved her. After a brief pause, Ying Kong Shi replied that he would try to love her.

Lan Shang then coldly challenged him to prove it, casting a black pearl necklace into a magical pool she had created. Ying Kong Shi entered the pool, and Lan Shang then demanded his Teardrop Charm, which he gave her. With Ying Kong Shi trapped within the pool, Lan Shang declared that she wanted his life, not his love, and began to cast a binding spell. Ying Kong Shi warned her not to force him to kill her.

Meanwhile, at the wedding banquet, Ka Suo suddenly sensed that Li Luo was in danger, alerted by his protection stone. He immediately rushed off with Liao Jian to find her. At the magical pool, Li Luo arrived and shattered Lan Shang's crystal, freeing Ying Kong Shi from the trap. Enraged, Lan Shang snatched the God Devouring Sword, vowing to settle all her scores with Ying Kong Shi that day.

Li Luo bravely intercepted Lan Shang’s attack, taking the blade of the God Devouring Sword into her own body. As Lan Shang struggled to pull the sword free, Ying Kong Shi used an unfamiliar magic to separate them. Ka Suo arrived at that moment, and both Chao Ya and Liao Jian, who were present, were astonished, remarking that the magic Ying Kong Shi had used was unlike anything they had seen from either the Ice Tribe or the Fire Tribe.

Desperate, Ka Suo took the unconscious Li Luo and rushed off to find Huang Tuo. Ying Kong Shi then urged Lan Shang to flee the scene. Ka Suo brought the unconscious Li Luo to Huang Tuo. Soon after, the Ice King and Ice Queen arrived. Chao Ya and Liao Jian explained that Lan Shang had stabbed Li Luo with the God Devouring Sword.

The Ice King then questioned the white glow he had witnessed, and was informed that Ying Kong Shi had used a type of magic that was entirely unknown and not from the Ice Tribe. Hearing this, the Ice King and Ice Queen exchanged troubled glances.
