> Ice Fantasy Recap

The five tribal leaders—from the Thousand Spirit, Dreamer, Healer, Bear, and Mermaid Tribes—convened at the Great Hall of City of Bladed Snow to meet the Ice King. To their shock, the Ice King announced his abdication, passing his title as Ruler of the Three Realms to the Fire King and urging all present to pledge loyalty to the new sovereign.

The tribal leaders voiced strong protests, decrying the Fire Tribe as barbarous and warlike, and expressing fears for the peace of the Three Realms. Liao Jian, the Bear King, directly confronted the Ice King, questioning if he had been threatened or poisoned; he was repelled by an invisible barrier when he attempted to approach. The Mermaid Saint then deduced that both the Ice King and Ice Queen were under the Fire King's control.

A disembodied voice belonging to the Fire King confirmed her suspicion, mocking the Ice Tribe's weakening power. He further declared that Ka Suo had been stripped of his spiritual powers, rendering him useless, and issued a decree: all five tribes must bring Ka Suo and Ying Kong Shi back to the Ice Tribe within ten days for a "family reunion."

Witnessing the City of Bladed Snow's icebergs melt due to the destruction of the Six-Leaf Ice Crystal, Ka Suo felt a profound sense of loss and helplessness. Li Luo attempted to reassure him, comparing the melting and refreezing of ice to the cyclical nature of existence, suggesting that the Ice Tribe would rise again.

However, Ka Suo, deeply disheartened by his lost spiritual powers, urged Li Luo to return to the mortal realm and live a normal life, unwilling to let her waste her youth by his side. Li Luo steadfastly refused, affirming her role as Realm Guardian and declaring her unwavering loyalty to him as her only king. Meanwhile, the Fire King confronted Lian Ji, questioning the true parentage of Ying Kong Shi.

Lian Ji insisted Ying Kong Shi was the Ice King’s son, but the Fire King remained unconvinced. He pointed out that only those with Fire Tribe blood could enter his Fire Globe of Despair unharmed, and Ying Kong Shi had not only entered but emerged without injury, fueling his suspicions that Ying Kong Shi was his own son.

Lian Ji, anxious, asked about his intentions, to which the Fire King stated he would kill Ying Kong Shi without mercy if he were the Ice King's son, but protect him if he were his own. Ying Kong Shi then met with Ka Suo, expressing his frustration that Ka Suo seemed unconcerned about the Fire King rallying other tribes.

Ka Suo admitted he was only relieved that Ying Kong Shi was safe, but questioned how he survived the Fire Globe of Despair unharmed, especially since his spiritual powers seemed to have grown stronger. Ying Kong Shi believed he was destined to be the Fire King's nemesis and wished to avenge Ka Suo.

However, Ka Suo, feeling utterly powerless, urged Ying Kong Shi to leave the Divine Realm, find a secluded place, and live a peaceful life away from the conflict, emphasizing that he had already lost too much and only had Ying Kong Shi left. Ying Kong Shi, in turn, proposed uniting the five tribes to fight the Fire King, but Ka Suo dismissed the idea, believing his own lost powers and the destroyed ice crystal made any resistance futile.

Ka Suo stated his intention to return to his parents and tribesmen to face their fate with them, but insisted that Ying Kong Shi must live on for him. Ying Kong Shi, disregarding Ka Suo's wishes for his safety, apologized silently to his brother and used a spell to put him into a trance. He then entrusted Ka Suo to Lan Shang, asking her to care for him, before announcing his intention to complete the duties Ka Suo could not.

Ying Kong Shi traveled to the Dream Tribe and sought out Xing Jiu, the Chief Dreamer, who was currently in a dream state, seeking prophecies about the future amidst the chaos caused by the Fire King. With the help of Xing Gui, who was persuaded by Ying Kong Shi's plea to save his brother, a dream beast was summoned to allow Ying Kong Shi to enter Xing Jiu's dream.

Within the shared dream, Xing Gui appeared and reinforced the idea that the future is not predetermined but shaped by present actions and strong belief. Although Xing Jiu initially expressed doubt, believing the Ice Tribe was doomed due to Ka Suo's crippled state and the destroyed Ice Crystal, Ying Kong Shi vowed to fight for the Ice Tribe until death, taking his brother's place.

Ying Kong Shi then proposed that Xing Jiu gather the tribal leaders within the dream realm, a method that would bypass the Fire King's spies and prevent detection. Xing Jiu agreed. The Dream Tribe's magic brought together the leaders of the Thousand Spirit, Dreamer, Healer, Bear, and Sprite Tribes in the Great Hall of City of Bladed Snow within the dream. The Mermaid Saint, however, was absent, having chosen to follow her own path.

The other leaders expressed concern about Ying Kong Shi's presence and the risk of the Fire King discovering their ties. Ying Kong Shi assuaged their fears, explaining that dreams provided a safe haven from detection. He challenged their inclination to surrender, arguing that true peace could only be achieved by resisting the Fire King, not by submission.

Acknowledging their doubts about his long-rumored weak spiritual powers, Ying Kong Shi offered a challenge: if he lost a fight against them, they would be free to follow whoever they wished, but if he won, they must follow him. Despite sustaining injuries, Ying Kong Shi remarkably displayed powerful Ice Tribe magic, defeating all who challenged him, including Liao Jian, the Bear King.

Witnessing his unexpected strength and unwavering determination, Liao Jian, Chao Ya of the Sprite Tribe, Xing Jiu of the Dream Tribe, and Huang Tuo of the Healer Tribe all pledged their allegiance to Prince Shi. Ka Suo eventually woke to find only Lan Shang by his side. Although he was touched by her care, he expressed concern that her association with a "loser" like him would anger the Mermaid Saint.

Lan Shang, however, passionately confessed her love, reaffirming her belief in him as an unyielding king and revealing her desire to marry him, a destiny she believed was foretold since her youth. She showed him shoes, explaining her efforts to learn to walk on land, hoping to dance with him on the Ice Plains on their wedding day. Ka Suo, though grateful, gently rejected her, admitting he already held affection for someone else.

Heartbroken, Lan Shang fled in tears, a moment inadvertently witnessed by Li Luo from outside the room. Soon after, Huang Tuo of the Healer Tribe, who had brought the Mermaid Saint a "Colorful Jade Powder" that reduced aging by ten years per use, discreetly met with Ka Suo. He warned Ka Suo that the Mermaid Saint intended to hand him over to the Fire King within ten days and urged him to escape.

Ka Suo initially refused, prepared to face the Fire King to prevent further harm to the tribes, but Huang Tuo presented a new hope. He spoke of Qiu Tiannian, a reclusive Healer Tribe divine physician in the mortal realm, who, despite having been exiled for destroying their ancient medical texts, possessed unparalleled medical knowledge that could potentially restore Ka Suo's spiritual powers. Seeing this as the last hope for the Ice Tribe, Ka Suo agreed to seek out Qiu Tiannian.

Li Luo, who had earlier misunderstood Huang Tuo's intentions, offered to accompany Ka Suo, but he firmly refused, insisting that if he couldn't survive alone in the mortal realm without magic, he wouldn't be fit to challenge the Fire King. Huang Tuo offered to distract the Mermaid Saint while Ka Suo departed. Distressed by Ka Suo's rejection, Lan Shang retreated into sorrow.

The Mermaid Saint, enjoying the age-reducing powder provided by Huang Tuo, eventually noticed "Lan Shang's" distress and expressed disdain for Ka Suo, believing him useless without his powers. When she announced her intention to turn Ka Suo over to the Fire King within ten days, Ying Kong Shi, who had been impersonating Lan Shang, dropped his disguise. The Mermaid Saint was shocked to learn that Ka Suo had already escaped.

Ying Kong Shi then proposed a daring plan: he would disguise himself as Princess Lan Shang and offer her to the Fire King as a bride, intending to assassinate the Fire King on their wedding night. The Mermaid Saint scoffed at the idea, doubting his ability to succeed and fearing the annihilation of her tribe.

However, Ying Kong Shi threatened to spread word that she had deliberately released Ka Suo, ensuring the Fire King's wrath would fall upon the Mermaid Tribe if she refused. Faced with this impossible choice, the Mermaid Saint reluctantly agreed to his plan. Meanwhile, Ka Suo, making his way to Healer Valley in the mortal realm, received unexpected kindness from a humble family who offered him food and water for his long journey. Shortly after he departed, bandits attacked the family.

Ka Suo, now powerless, attempted to defend them but was easily overwhelmed. He watched in horror as the father was murdered and the daughter, Xiao Xue, was brutalized, leading her to kill her tormentor before taking her own life. As the enraged bandits turned their attention to Ka Suo, determined to kill him, Li Luo suddenly appeared, intercepting a lethal blow meant for him.
