Wangquan Fugui and Qing Tong rushed to Wangquan Shouren's house, but they found it covered in cobwebs, desolate and terrifying. Wangquan Shouren was suspended in mid-air, encased in a blood-soaked cocoon. As Qing Tong entered, Wangquan Shouren used his last ounce of strength to apologize, admitting, "All of this is my fault. I shouldn't have incited the Yiqi Alliance to punish you. I shouldn't have spread rumors, called you a scourge, or said you were despicable.

I'm worse than a beast. I deserve to die. It's all my fault." Immediately after, Qingcheng, who had been behind him, struck him dead with a palm. Qing Tong was distraught, asking Qingcheng why he would kill Wangquan Shouren now that his own involvement was exposed. Qingcheng coldly responded that those who hurt Qing Tong must die, emphasizing, "In this world, the only person who cares about you is me!"

Qing Tong tried to explain that Qingcheng was possessed by the Black Fox, but Qingcheng defiantly claimed he couldn't have survived Qianji City without the Black Fox's help. Qing Tong urged him to expel the Black Fox, but Qingcheng refused to return to being a "lowly little spider." As Wangquan Fugui approached, Qing Tong quickly cast a silence talisman on Qingcheng, instructing him to remain silent and listen.

Qingcheng then declared that since he had already lost Qing Tong, she must now choose between him and Wangquan Fugui. When Wangquan Fugui finally confronted Qingcheng, Qingcheng taunted him, asserting that Wangquan Fugui didn't deserve Qing Tong. He provoked Wangquan Fugui to fight, stating, "Today, either you die or I do!" As Wangquan Fugui attempted to force the Black Fox out of Qingcheng, Qingcheng dramatically cried out for Qing Tong's help, falsely claiming Wangquan Fugui was killing him.

Qing Tong, believing Qingcheng was in mortal danger and fearing his death, broke free from Wangquan Fugui's restraint and intervened. She declared she would handle the Black Fox inside Qingcheng herself. Wangquan Fugui, having confirmed Qingcheng as the killer, insisted on bringing him to the Yiqi Alliance to explain. As he ordered Yiqi Alliance disciples to search the area, Qing Tong used her demon power to take Qingcheng and disappear.

Left alone, Wangquan Fugui noticed a faint scent of the Black Fox on Qing Tong, which greatly puzzled him. Later, Wangquan Fugui met with Feng Tingyun, admitting he had broken the binding spell and violated alliance rules by leaving the Western Regions, but he explained his need to investigate recent events. Feng Tingyun dismissed his concerns, stating she couldn't stop him anyway and had always believed he did nothing wrong. She affirmed he could move freely.

She also revealed that the alliance now knew a little black fox had possessed Qingcheng. Regarding Qianji City, Feng Tingyun asserted that the alliance would not easily let the matter rest and would besiege the city if Qingcheng was not surrendered. Wangquan Fugui requested more time, to which Feng Tingyun agreed. Queen Gulizan of Qianxia Nation confronted Quan Jingting, demanding to know why he had awakened her, what he truly wanted, and what benefits she would receive.

Quan Jingting reminded her that a thousand years ago, she had sacrificed her Qianxia Nation people through the Myriad Blight Formation to defeat the Berserk Dragon and bring peace to the Western Regions. He bitterly pointed out that this peace had been enjoyed by the treacherous Corsac Fox State, a clan she despised. Gulizan, already aware of these facts, questioned the purpose of his words now, stating that she would spare neither the Corsac Fox Clan nor the Dragon Clan.

Quan Jingting then unveiled his grand plan: Gulizan was to unleash the Myriad Blight Formation across the entire Western Regions, sacrificing all its inhabitants. The immense power generated would allow Madam Black Fox to take physical form, enabling the Black Fox to destroy the world and satisfying Gulizan's long-held hatred. Gulizan tacitly agreed but raised a crucial point: the Myriad Blight Formation required the combined power of three clans. She wondered if True Dragons still existed.

Quan Jingting, with a sinister smile, assured her they did. To draw out the True Dragon, Gulizan captured numerous Dragon Clan children, mostly mixed-bloods with weak demon power. Rumu's subordinate brought him news of the missing dragon children, immediately making Rumu realize Long Weiyun was in danger. Long Weiyun fell into Gulizan's trap, captured while attempting to rescue the children.

Gulizan then trapped Long Weiyun in a Dream Formation, a powerful ancient spell designed to slowly absorb her True Dragon power as she remained unconscious in a blissful dream. Rumu arrived to find Long Weiyun already in a soul-wandering state, realizing that if she wasn't awakened soon, she would perish once her dragon power was completely drained.

Despite the immense danger, Rumu resolved to enter the Dream Formation himself to awaken her, instructing his subordinate to rescue the captured children through a temporary barrier he would create upon entering the dream. Gulizan mocked his foolishness, wishing him to be trapped in the dream forever with Long Weiyun. Inside the Dream Formation, Long Weiyun was in a beautiful dream, preparing for her wedding to her beloved "Sigou," her childhood sweetheart.

She described their shared past, how he had suffered from asthma, how a kind demon cured him, and how he had risked his life to save her from demonization, her heart hearing his devotion as he carried her back. She longed for a simple, happy life with him. However, she couldn't recall her fiancé's face. Rumu, having entered the dream, appeared to her as her fiancé.

He tried to make her see the inconsistencies in her dream, pointing out that she couldn't remember her beloved's face and had mistaken him for a "defiler" upon first seeing him in the dream. He explained that she was in a dream that was slowly draining her life force. He then realized that her subconscious held the key: her dream parents had always warned her to stay away from the Thunder Pool.

Rumu deduced that the Thunder Pool must be the Dream Formation's weakest point. He insisted on taking her there despite her protests, explaining, "You are Long Weiyun, the one I love. You've been harmed by someone and trapped in a dream. This dream is absorbing your dragon power. And in reality, you're slowly dying. The longer we stay, the more danger you're in. So, I must take you away."

Long Weiyun, amidst the flashes of lightning, slowly began to remember him. Rumu, holding Long Weiyun, intentionally channeled lightning strikes onto himself, believing each jolt would help her regain her memories. " Looks like every bolt of lightning I endure stirs a few more memories within you," he told her. As he repeatedly endured the electric shocks, his body became severely wounded. Long Weiyun's consciousness finally cleared, crying out "Rumu!"

She apologized for the suffering he had endured because of her over the years, proclaiming, "I can't and I won't lose you again. Rumu, I'll never let you die." Long Weiyun, now fully awake and identifying herself as "Long Weiyun, a True Dragon," used her dragon power to shatter the Dream Formation, carrying the heavily injured and unconscious Rumu out. Outside, Gulizan, who had absorbed sufficient dragon power from Long Weiyun, smirked, "She's a pure-blooded dragon demon after all.

She actually managed to break free. However, I've absorbed enough power." She quickly activated the core of the Myriad Blight Formation, awaiting the imminent catastrophe. As Long Weiyun carried Rumu, she thought, "Actually, I'm the one who truly can't let go." Meanwhile, Qing Tong brought Qingcheng back to Qianji City. Despite her attempts to expel the Black Fox using her Power of Love, a powerful force within Qingcheng resisted her, preventing her from connecting with him.

Frustrated and unable to break the Black Fox's hold, Qing Tong imprisoned Qingcheng in Asura Hall, assuring him she would find a solution and return to save him. The Black Fox, speaking through Qingcheng, mocked Qing Tong's emotional attachment. Qingcheng, now completely under the Black Fox's influence, revealed a chilling smile, gloating that his reckless actions and "emotional gambit" had succeeded in ensuring Qing Tong would never abandon him.

He mused that Wangquan Fugui and the Yiqi Alliance would be so preoccupied with him, "trapped in this scheme of mine," that they would be unable to intervene in the Western Regions. He confidently stated that everything was still under his control.
