Following the aborted proposal attempt, Wu Bai's teammates inquire about his next move. Shen Zhe points out that Ai Qing has created a strict schedule for Wu Bai's eye care, making it impossible for him to slip away. Wu Bai admits this complicates things, so 97 and Zhou Yi volunteer to retrieve the custom chocolate containing the engagement ring.
Meanwhile, Mi announces that the upcoming World Cup will feature a new competition system, allowing both teams to set up obstacles on the field. This new rule requires two team members to be on the field simultaneously: one controlling the robot and the other managing the obstacles. Wu Bai then analyzes the functions of various obstacles for the team—such as fire, gears, and rebound boards—before laying out a corresponding intensive training plan.
Later, 97 and Zhou Yi go to retrieve the custom chocolate. However, distracted by tasting other treats in the shop, they inadvertently take the wrong bag. Oblivious to the mistake, Wu Bai presents the chocolate to Ai Qing, claiming 97 bought it for her. Ai Qing happily opens the box, noticing the packaging is different from what she remembers. As she unwraps a piece, Wu Bai and his teammates watch with bated breath.
Feeling their intense gaze, Ai Qing offers them some, but everyone makes excuses, claiming they are on a diet, have a toothache, or need to stay fit. After Ai Qing eats one piece with no reaction, Wu Bai nervously urges her to eat more. When she says she's full and will save the rest for later, his teammates insist she must finish them immediately, explaining the chocolates have a short one-day shelf life.
To avoid waste, Ai Qing eats the remaining pieces but finds them overwhelmingly sweet and leaves to rinse her mouth. With no ring found, Wu Bai questions 97, who is just as confused as Zhou Yi. Mi suggests Wu Bai call the shop, which confirms a mix-up and promises to deliver the correct order, with the ring, the next day. Mortified by their mistake, 97 and Zhou Yi are tasked by Mi to redeem themselves by brainstorming new proposal ideas.
Later, the two apologize to Wu Bai and present their plans. 97 suggests a romantic and surprising proposal at K&K, envisioning a release of fireflies on a starry night. When Wu Bai seems unimpressed, Shen Zhe proposes a "pet proposal," using geese from a nearby farm with "Will you marry me?" cards around their necks. Wu Bai dismisses this as uncontrollable.
Shen Zhe then suggests a "treasure hunt proposal," but Zhou Yi worries Ai Qing might not find the final clue. Finally, 97 suggests an "express delivery proposal" where Wu Bai is packaged and delivered to Ai Qing. Zhou Yi immediately points out the logistical nightmare. As they begin to argue, Wu Bai stops them, deciding to figure it out himself.
One day, while the team discusses tactics, Ai Qing interrupts with an alarm clock, reminding Wu Bai to take his medicine and "look far away." The team is confused when he stares at a wall, until he points out that Ai Qing has humorously posted the words "Far Away" on it. A little while later, she returns to give him eye drops and a massage.
Witnessing their sweet interaction, the teammates begin to comically imitate them, prompting the couple to move to a private room. There, they discuss the upcoming World Cup. Wu Bai identifies Iron and Naya as their biggest threats. Ai Qing agrees, and Wu Bai predicts Naya will upgrade their robots specifically to counter K&K.
When asked if he will modify his robots in response, Wu Bai states he will not be led by them and will simply focus on being his best. Ai Qing then excitedly begins to strategize how SP would handle Naya before catching herself, explaining it's an old habit she hasn't fully adjusted from. Curious, Ai Qing asks to see inside Wu Bai's password-protected box.
He opens it to reveal numerous photos of her from past competitions, each with his handwritten notes detailing her victories. Deeply moved, she gazes at them until 97 calls them to play with new robot toys. Ai Qing is impressed with the toys and wants to buy some for the Teen Training Camp, but 97 informs her the children likely already have them, as they were developed by her former company, Jiayi.
She praises the design, believing it's an excellent tool for promoting robot combat among children. Seeing her passion, Wu Bai arranges a meeting with Lin Shan, who is managing the educational robot promotion. Lin Shan invites Ai Qing to join the project as a consultant. While Ai Qing explains it's a dream of hers, she worries about her current job. Lin Shan assures her it won't conflict, as she would only need to offer guidance in her spare time.
Later, Ai Qing asks Wu Bai why he set up the meeting. He explains that she was the one who made him fall in love with robot combat ten years ago, and he believes she can inspire countless more children to join the field. Touched by his deep understanding, Ai Qing feels immense gratitude for having him in her life. Later, Tong Nian visits the K&K base and makes coffee for everyone. The team notices a special cup with a cute pig latte art, playfully teasing that their "sister-in-law" is sending a coded message of love to their leader, Han Shangyan.
