Slide visited Ai Qing's home and gave her a notebook that Wu Bai had left at his place, asking her to return it. As Ai Qing took the notebook, a photo slipped out. She picked it up and saw a large bouquet of blooming Forget-Me-Nots, with the message "You’ll never feel alone if you’re after dreams" written on it, which immediately stirred her memories.
Ai Qing ran back to her old house, looking at an identical painting on the courtyard wall. She recalled a time when she had asked Wu Bai why he returned, and he had told her that a very important person he liked was there—someone he couldn't forget. At that moment, she finally understood the depth of Wu Bai's affection, and tears gently streamed down her face. Downstairs, after Ai Jing saw Slide off, Shen Zhe arrived.
When Ai Jing told him Slide's visit was none of his business, he insisted that as long as they hadn't broken up, it concerned him. In a fit of pique, Ai Jing declared they were officially broken up. Shen Zhe followed her upstairs to her apartment, determined to settle the matter. When she asked how he planned to formally resolve things, he stated he would not break up with her.
Ai Jing called him a scoundrel and tried to walk away, but Shen Zhe pulled her against the wall. She threatened to hit him, but he laughed, unafraid, saying he had been hit by her before. Taking his dare, Ai Jing marched into the kitchen and returned with a knife. Alarmed, Shen Zhe disarmed her, replacing the knife with a rolling pin. He sincerely apologized, admitting his methods were wrong but insisting he hadn't committed any transgression of principle.
Ai Jing, though holding the rolling pin high, found herself unable to strike. She said that while other mistakes could be forgiven, a "third woman" was unforgivable. Shen Zhe vehemently denied the existence of a third party and tried to show her his chat history, but she refused to look. As he continued to sweet-talk her, her anger gradually dissipated. Shen Zhe then asked about her and Slide, leaving Ai Jing bewildered.
Just then, Ai Qing returned, looking as if she had been crying, prompting Ai Jing to send Shen Zhe away. Later, Ai Qing sat on her bed, flipping through the notebook. At the end, she saw Wu Bai's written goal: "300 wins." When Ai Jing entered, Ai Qing showed her the photo and explained that the street lamp at their old house had been fixed and the Forget-Me-Nots were painted on the wall—all done by Wu Bai.
Ai Jing exclaimed how romantic it was. Ai Qing then revealed that three years ago, when Wu Bai had suddenly disappeared, she thought he had left without a word. She had only now discovered he had gone for eye surgery after suffering temporary blindness and had undergone three risky operations over a year. She realized he had left the Forget-Me-Nots for her on her daily path home. His feelings for her were much deeper than she had ever imagined.
Ai Jing encouraged her to set aside her worries and reconsider her relationship with Wu Bai. At the K&K club, 97 was surprised to hear that Ai Qing had joined SP. Wu Bai stated he was happy as long as she could find her own value, believing she was born for the industry. Shen Zhe commented that she was now K&K's biggest rival, predicting a bumpy road for their relationship.
When 97 and Shen Zhe asked what happened during his private meeting with Ai Qing, 97 accidentally revealed they had sought Ai Qing's advice for Shen Zhe and Ai Jing's argument, leading Shen Zhe to finally realize that Slide was not Ai Jing's ex-boyfriend. Wu Bai simply said he and Ai Qing had cleared the air on some important issues. 97 suggested he send a gift to consolidate his progress.
This gave Wu Bai an idea, and he went to his workshop to begin working on something, telling Zhou Yi it was a "preview" for a "whole new start." After the New Year, Ai Qing returned to work and received a robot figurine from Wu Bai. The card read, "We are friends, but also rivals. Welcome back." Ai Qing smiled, understanding they would soon meet on the field.
Meanwhile, Wu Bai looked at his own robot and recalled his brother Han Shangyan’s advice: not to crave love like a child craving candy, but to become a worthy rival, a man who could stand beside her as an equal. Both the SP and K&K teams received invitations to a robot combat competition in Chicago.
During a tour of the K&K headquarters led by Ai Qing, a K&K staff member named Alice remarked to Wu Bai that he and Ai Qing had a "couple's aura," to which Wu Bai admitted he hoped for that. Alice then presented Ai Qing with "Wu Bai’s Collection of Awards," telling her he held the most honors in K&K. This prompted Ai Qing to ask Wu Bai how many matches he had played.
He replied over 200, and if he won all twelve individual events in this competition, he would reach 300 wins. Ai Qing finally understood the true meaning of his goal and playfully challenged his confidence. The next day, Wu Bai took Ai Qing to the main competition venue. There, Ai Qing received a call from Han Shangyan. Wu Bai quickly took the phone, asking his brother not to make things difficult for her.
Han Shangyan teased him, and Wu Bai retorted that he was afraid Han would suffer indigestion. Ai Qing took the phone back and told Han Shangyan that this was her first time on a global competition stage. She expressed regret that if their original team hadn't disbanded, they might have stood there much earlier, and offered him a formal apology.
Han Shangyan dismissed it as being in the past and praised Wu Bai, causing Ai Qing to playfully ask if he was trying to be a matchmaker. That evening, Ai Qing and her SP teammates gathered for dinner. Seeing everyone looking forward, she felt it was time for her to let go of the past as well. Everyone drank heartily, and Ai Qing became quite tipsy, needing her teammates to help her back to her room.
Meanwhile, Wu Bai called Han Shangyan, worriedly asking what he had said to Ai Qing. Han Shangyan mischievously claimed he told her they weren't a good match. Soon after, Wu Bai received a slurred voice message from an intoxicated Ai Qing, filling him with concern.
