> Dance of the Sky Empire Recap

As the Moyun Ancient Academy members struggled against a formidable demon spirit, it attempted to strike down Li Xuan. Just as a fatal blow was about to land, Ziji bravely stepped forward, shielding Li Xuan and taking the brunt of the attack. Determined to stop the demon spirit, Li Xuan and his classmates engaged the entity, buying precious time for Su Youlian to awaken the Dragon Emperor, their only hope to ensure their sacrifices were not in vain.

Su Youlian succeeded, and as the Dragon Emperor's seal broke, the demon spirit dissipated under the sunlight. With the Dragon Emperor's awakening, the spiritual power of all Kunwu clan members was restored. However, having been imprisoned for many years, the Dragon Emperor initially intended to eliminate Li Xuan and his companions. Su Youlian vehemently intervened, pleading with the Dragon Emperor not to harm them, and he ultimately relented, departing with Su Youlian.

With Su Youlian gone, Li Xuan rushed to Ziji's side, who lay gravely wounded. Li Xuan again addressed him as "Master," a word that seemed to bring Ziji a degree of comfort. Ziji confessed his past wrongdoing, admitting that he had miscalculated his own power, believing he could seal the Dragon Emperor using Li Xuan's mother's blood, which tragically resulted in an accident.

He humbly asked for forgiveness but then acknowledged that the murder of a mother was a grudge that could never be forgotten. He advised Li Xuan to take care of himself. In response, Li Xuan firmly declared that he would never forgive him. Ziji, accepting Li Xuan's words, then passed away in his arms. Meanwhile, Long Wei'er made her way to the cold palace where Tianqi Emperor was confined.

She revealed her true identity as a woman to him, a fact that deeply shocked the emperor who had always believed her to be his son. Long Wei'er then demanded that he abdicate the throne to her. Initially, Tianqi Emperor eagerly agreed, envisioning a peaceful retirement as the "retired emperor."

However, Long Wei'er proceeded to reveal the immense suffering she had endured over the years—including countless painful toxic baths undertaken to maintain a male appearance—all because of his absurd and cruel prophecy that led him to slaughter his own daughters. Tianqi Emperor, confronted with the agonizing details of her sacrifice, attempted to justify his past actions by claiming they were for the prosperity of the state.

Long Wei'er then pressed him, asking whether a princess had saved the state or destroyed it, leading to Tianqi Emperor's profound remorse and tearful apologies. Though Long Wei'er finally achieved her long-sought desire, she admitted to feeling no joy in her victory, only a profound sense of emptiness. Elsewhere, Xiao Fengming knelt beside Yunshan, blaming himself for her apparent demise and resolving not to let her embark on her journey alone.

He swallowed a powerful poison, intending to die beside her. Just as he lay down, Yunshan unexpectedly stirred and regained consciousness. Overjoyed to discover she was alive, Xiao Fengming then remembered the poison he had just ingested. He frantically begged Yunshan to punch him repeatedly in the stomach, hoping to expel the toxin before it took full effect, and she, albeit confused, agreed to help him.

Upon the Dragon Emperor's full awakening, the Kunwu clan members, invigorated by his restored spiritual power, eagerly called for revenge against the Human Clan, advocating for war. However, the Dragon Emperor, reflecting on the long-term consequences, made a momentous decision. He resolved to abandon the path of vengeance, declaring that endless cycles of revenge would only bring ceaseless chaos and suffering to his people.

Instead, he commanded all Kunwu clan members to return to their ancestral homeland to rebuild and strictly forbade any further contact with human beings. This decree posed a dilemma for Su Youlian, who wished to remain with Li Xuan. She implored the Dragon Emperor for permission to stay, which he granted, but with a severe condition: she must relinquish her Saintess Mark.

This act was known to be fatal, yet Su Youlian, resolute in her desire to live for herself after fulfilling her mission as a Saintess, accepted the irreversible sacrifice. After the painful removal of the Saintess Mark, a saint doctor intervened, providing medication to temporarily sustain her life and numb her pain. Su Youlian, clinging to her last reserves of strength, entrusted her Saintess Stone to the saint doctor before rushing off to find Li Xuan.

Su Youlian, severely weakened, finally reached Li Xuan and collapsed into his embrace, professing her deep love for him. Determined to save her, Li Xuan immediately decided to take her to the Mirror Moon Lake Secret Realm to seek the aid of the Elder of the Book of Heaven. Su Youlian, though frail, wholeheartedly agreed to accompany him. In the Secret Realm, the Elder of the Book of Heaven successfully treated Su Youlian, stabilizing her condition.

From within the Secret Realm, Li Xuan and Su Youlian were able to observe the events unfolding in the outside world, witnessing the return of peace. Changqing and Bian Lingcheng were seen serving as mentors at Moyun Ancient Academy, guiding new students. Xiao Fengming and Yunshan had married, with Yunshan's parents warmly accepting Xiao Fengming and even considering him for a leadership role. Yu Fengmu was also on the path to recovery under the care of the saint doctor.

The Dragon Emperor had successfully led the Kunwu clan back to their homeland to rebuild their community. The world had achieved a state of peace, with the Kunwu and Human clans now coexisting harmoniously. Li Xuan and Su Youlian, content in their Secret Realm, playfully commented on the Elder's eccentricities as he invited them to test a newly reinforced swing, signifying their shared, peaceful future.
