Ting Xue then went to Min Suqiu and fabricated a story, claiming that Zhuo Hao was entangled with Chong Zi.
She cunningly suggested that if Chong Zi were eliminated, Zhuo Hao would return to Min Suqiu's side. Ting Xue emphasized that with Luo Yinfan fully occupied battling Wang Yue, it was the opportune moment to act against Chong Zi. Swayed by Ting Xue's manipulative words, Min Suqiu recalled the Soul-binding Thread stored in Nanhua's Tianque Pavilion, believing it to be the perfect weapon against Chong Zi. Meanwhile, Wang Yue held Qinghua disciples hostage, demanding Luo Yinfan's appearance.
Zhuo Yao, struggling amidst the captive disciples, pleaded with Luo Yinfan to surrender Chong Zi to spare their suffering. However, Luo Yinfan refused. Meanwhile, before Luo Yinfan's arrival, Zhuo Hao had found the gravely wounded Chong Zi and rushed her back to the Demon Palace, promising to save her. He knelt before Wang Yue, begging him for help.
