Blossom in Heart Episode 32 Recap
> Blossom in Heart Recap
Lang Yuexuan reports to Gu Haitang about Yan Zhi's situation, revealing that Lang Sinian claims no knowledge of Yan Zhi's father. Both Lang Yuexuan and Gu Haitang notice that Master Shang and Lang Sinian strongly evade discussions about Yan Zhi's life after leaving the Lang family, leading them to suspect a hidden secret. Lang Yuexuan learns from a maid that Yan Zhi moved to Guihua Alley after leaving the Lang family and later married there, specifically to Fang Juncai.
They both immediately go to Guihua Alley to investigate, splitting up to inquire about Yan Zhi's circumstances. However, they find nothing, though Lang Yuexuan promises to continue helping Gu Haitang with the investigation. Gu Haitang learns that Xin Qiao is set to leave Kunyang the next day and intends to give her some travel money.
Meanwhile, Lang Yueming, facing a dilemma, arranges for cargo to be transported using Shi Jizhou's shipping slot, strictly instructing his staff to keep this operation hidden from Lang Sinian. Shi Jizhou, having lost Xin Qiao as an internal contact, sees this as an opportunity to gain leverage over Lang Yueming. Xin Qiao approaches Shi Jizhou, first seeking his help to release her father, but after her plan fails, she asks him for money to leave Kunyang.
Shi Jizhou, being cold and dismissive, refuses her requests and forcefully dismisses her. With no other options, Xin Qiao turns to Long Mohua, threatening her with information about the Yi Rongrong incident and the poison powder incident, demanding money be delivered to her the next day. Long Mohua is furious. The following day, Long Mohua arrives to deliver the money as demanded.
During their argument, Xin Qiao publicly exposes Long Mohua for framing Gu Haitang and mentions the poison powder incident. Gu Haitang, who overhears the entire conversation, is deeply hurt and confronts Long Mohua. Long Mohua, filled with hatred for Gu Haitang, openly admits her dislike, declares Gu Haitang unworthy of her friendship, and vows to sever all ties with her.
She also asserts that she will not give up on Lang Yuexuan, to which Gu Haitang responds by refusing to back down and insisting on fair competition. The two women part ways after a complete and angry break. Distraught, Gu Haitang goes to the glass house to find Lang Yuexuan. He immediately notices her unhappiness and comforts her when she expresses her pain over being betrayed by someone close.
During their conversation, a notebook, which is also referred to as a book or diary, falls from Lang Yuexuan's pocket. Gu Haitang expresses curiosity about it, and Lang Yuexuan promises to show it to her later, though he doesn't reveal its contents at the time. He also tells her he found out Yan Zhi married Fang Juncai but nothing else.
Meanwhile, Long Mohua goes directly to the studio to see Lang Yueming, insisting on becoming the spokesperson for Lang Li Chun. Lang Yueming initially refuses, but Long Mohua pleads, admitting her conflict with Gu Haitang. Unable to resist her persistent requests, Lang Yueming eventually agrees to let her continue shooting the promotional posters, even though Gu Haitang was originally slated for the Haitang Rouge photoshoot.
After the first batch of Haitang Rouge is completed, Lang Yueming waits for Gu Haitang to finish her work. He takes her to a large house, presents her with the keys to it, and proposes marriage, promising to cherish her for a lifetime. Gu Haitang, however, tells him that while she considers him a very good friend, she is in love with Lang Yuexuan. She returns the keys to Lang Yueming, who then escorts her home.
Lang Yuexuan, who has carefully prepared a bouquet in the Haitang Garden and is waiting for Gu Haitang, mistakenly assumes she has been with Lang Yueming. When Gu Haitang begins to tell him about Lang Yueming's proposal, Lang Yuexuan, angered and not waiting for her explanation or explicit answer, gives her the bouquet of Haitang flowers he made and leaves in a huff. A few days pass with Gu Haitang and Lang Yuexuan both upset and ignoring each other.
Gu Xiahe delivers Lang Yuexuan's diary/book to Gu Haitang. Gu Haitang reads through it, discovering it contains detailed entries about Lang Yuexuan's journey with her since they first met, filled with profound affection and declarations of his love. He also includes a message for her, saying that while others might offer a castle, their shared memories are enough to build a palace. Deeply moved, Gu Haitang goes to the Haitang Garden to find Lang Yuexuan.
Lang Yuexuan asks her if she understood his feelings and then tells her he wants to give her a "starry sky," explaining that each star represents his wish to be with her forever. Gu Haitang initially finds stars unremarkable, but after Lang Yuexuan's explanation, she asks for shooting stars. He tells her to close her eyes, and at that moment, countless dazzling fireworks erupt in the sky.
Shi Diwen, whom Lang Yuexuan had assigned to set off fireworks from the bushes, accidentally ignites nearby plants, causing a smell of smoke. Gu Haitang makes the same wish as Lang Yuexuan: to be with him forever. Their hearts connect, and they share a deep embrace and kiss. Lang Yuexuan expresses his desire to take her home immediately to publicly announce their relationship. Gu Haitang, however, hesitates, mindful of Lang Sinian's or Feng Chunyan's potential prejudice.
Soon after, Lang Li Chun's Haitang Rouge is launched and instantly sells out, attracting a continuous stream of customers. The Lang family hosts a celebratory banquet, inviting Long Mohua. Lang Yuexuan proudly brings Gu Haitang to the banquet, where Lang Sinian celebrates Lang Yuexuan's success and welcomes him home. Lang Sinian then toasts Gu Haitang, crediting her for the successful development and encouraging her to expand Haitang Rouge sales nationwide, instructing Lang Yuexuan to fully support her work.
However, Lang Sinian also states that the greatest credit for this success belongs to Lang Yuexuan, which visibly displeases Lang Yueming. Feng Chunyan publicly acknowledges Lang Yueming's significant contributions to the success.
