Blossom in Heart Episode 10 Recap
> Blossom in Heart Recap
Gu Haitang, encouraged by Long Mohua to be strong and look towards the future, found herself unable to let go of her despair, feeling as though her recent experiences were a dream. She asked Long Mohua for help in stealing the key to the west attic. Meanwhile, Lang Sinian and Feng Chunyan hosted a lavish dinner for Long Deshui and Long Mohua, aiming to compensate for not inviting them to the wedding banquet the day before.
During the dinner, Lang Sinian and Long Deshui drank heartily and finalized Long Mohua's marriage to Lang Yuexuan. Long Mohua, intent on stealing the key to the west attic, continuously urged Lang Sinian and Long Deshui to drink more. When Long Deshui wanted to leave, Long Mohua kept persuading him to drink, and Lang Sinian also subtly instructed Quan Shu to pour more wine. Long Mohua then covertly kicked Long Deshui's chair, causing him to fall.
As Lang Sinian and Quan Shu rushed to help Long Deshui up, Long Mohua seized the opportunity to steal the key from Quan Shu's waist. Concurrently, Lang Yueming personally prepared chicken soup, which he and Feng Chunyan delivered to Gu Haitang in the attic. Gu Haitang, suppressing her grief, forced herself to drink a few sips. Feng Chunyan advised her to adapt to her new life, and Gu Haitang reluctantly called her "Mother."
Feng Chunyan was overjoyed, believing Gu Haitang had accepted her fate and promising that the Lang family would not mistreat her if she remained obedient, adding that she looked forward to having grandchildren. Feng Chunyan then left with Yingge, instructing Lang Yueming to stay and care for Gu Haitang. Lang Yueming bravely expressed his concern for Gu Haitang and tried to help her lie down, but she was extremely wary and tried to avoid him.
He repeatedly apologized, realizing his unrequited love had caused her immense pain. He reassured her not to be afraid and then took a quilt to sleep on a nearby sofa. Long Mohua, with the stolen key, quietly arrived at the west attic, unlocked the door, and called Gu Haitang out to rescue her. Lang Yueming, who was not asleep and heard everything, deliberately did not intervene to stop Gu Haitang from leaving.
Gu Haitang ran directly home, where she discovered a drunken Lang Yuexuan at her doorstep, drowning his sorrows. Lang Yuexuan recognized her, struggled to his feet, and happily embraced her. Gu Haitang tearfully pushed him away, fiercely broke free, and slapped him hard. She hated him for ruining her life and demanded to know if his previous promises were genuine or deceitful.
Lang Yuexuan, filled with regret and unable to explain his true feelings for her, repeatedly apologized, letting her punch and kick him without resistance. Gu Haitang, who felt she had suffered irreparable harm and was manipulated by Lang Yuexuan and the Lang family, believed he ruined her life.
She dismissed his apologies, told him to leave, and despite his pleas for her to return with him (to a place she no longer considered her home), she stormed back into her house without looking back. Gu Xiahe heard the argument outside and saw Gu Haitang crying as she returned home. He immediately assumed the Lang family had bullied her and angrily declared he would confront them. Gu Haitang then revealed the truth about being tricked into marriage.
Gu Xiahe was furious and wanted to argue with Lang Yuexuan, even contemplating leaving Kunyang/Moyang immediately. However, Gu Haitang stopped him, explaining that the Lang family was powerful, and they would be no match. She also insisted they cannot leave because they have a more important task: finding their father. Their father disappeared on Gu Haitang's birthday when he was about to give her a gift but was called away and never returned.
His disappearance caused their mother's mental state to become unstable, and her mother's sudden insistence on waiting for her father to return strengthened Gu Haitang's resolve to stay and find him. Gu Xiahe worried the Lang family would seek trouble, but Gu Haitang remained firm in her decision to stay in Kunyang. The next morning, Long Mohua came to the Gu family, initially urging Gu Haitang to return to the Lang family, but Gu Haitang firmly refused.
Gu Xiahe then asked Long Mohua to hide his sister. Long Mohua scolded Gu Haitang for not leaving, then took her to the Long family residence to hide for a few days. After Gu Haitang's departure, Lang Yueming locked himself in the west attic, refusing to eat or drink, causing Lang Sinian and Feng Chunyan great anxiety. Lang Yuexuan kicked open the door and found Lang Yueming slumped on the sofa, deeply despondent.
Lang Yueming confessed that he deliberately let Gu Haitang go, explaining that he realized it was useless to keep her and preferring to confine himself rather than let her suffer with him. Unwilling to see Lang Yueming so distraught, Feng Chunyan asked Lang Yuexuan to bring Gu Haitang back. Lang Yuexuan, accompanied by Quan Shu and two assistants, went to the Gu family.
Gu Xiahe, upon seeing Lang Yuexuan, immediately and severely punched him, accusing him of betraying Gu Haitang's sincere feelings. Lang Yuexuan took the beating without resistance, admitting he knew Gu Haitang had returned home and only wishing to know her current whereabouts. Gu Xiahe forcefully drove Lang Yuexuan away, telling him not to return. Long Mohua settled Gu Haitang in her home, offering to use her father's connections to secure a new identity for Gu Haitang to leave town.
However, Gu Haitang insisted on staying in Kunyang to continue searching for her father, and Long Mohua agreed to help her. Gu Xiahe, realizing Gu Haitang left her makeup box at home, rushed to deliver it to the Long family. He was, however, being tracked by Lang family members. Quan Shu, who was among them, informed Lang Sinian of Gu Haitang's hiding place.
Concluding that Gu Haitang was at Long Deshui's residence, Lang Sinian (at Feng Chunyan's urging) sent Lang Yuexuan to investigate and gather information. Upon Lang Yuexuan's arrival at the Long family residence, Long Deshui eagerly asked if Lang Yuexuan was aware that Long Mohua liked him and how he felt about her. Lang Yuexuan acknowledged that he liked Long Mohua, but clarified that his affection was that of a brother, not romantic love.
