In the game, Yue Qianling told Gu Xun that she was about to meet the person she had a crush on and asked him what she should do. Gu Xun asked her what kind of girls boys in idol dramas liked, and Yue Qianling said someone like her. Gu Xun replied that she should act the opposite of herself and use her gentleness to stir up the male god’s protective instincts.

Yue Qianling called Yin Xue to ask when she would come back to practice the lion dance, but Yin Xue said she had something to do and couldn’t return. Gu Xun called Jiang Junnan, who also said he couldn’t make it because he was busy. Just after Gu Xun hung up, he saw Yue Qianling approaching with a large pot. Gu Xun didn’t understand why she was carrying a pot.

Yue Qianling said that although the pot wasn’t as heavy as a lion head, they could take things step by step. Gu Xun had no choice but to agree and asked her to make it quick. While climbing the steps, Yue Qianling tripped. She asked Gu Xun to help her, but he quickly moved aside. Yue Qianling lost her balance and ended up sitting in the pot, nearly falling to the ground.

Gu Xun hurried over and caught her in his arms. Yue Qianling asked if he was okay, and Gu Xun told her to get up first. Jiang Junnan told Gu Xun that he wanted to hire an assistant. Gu Xun said he was busy with the project proposal recently and would talk about it after this stage was over. Jiang Junnan said not to bother, the interviewee had already arrived.

Jiang Junnan interviewed many people but wasn’t satisfied with any of them. Before Chen Xinyi could enter, Jiang Junnan came out of the office. Chen Xinyi thought he was another interviewee. Seeing his unhappy face, she assumed his interview didn’t go well. Jiang Junnan went along with it, saying that this Jiang Junnan was a real piece of work — too harsh on his employees. Chen Xinyi comforted him, saying not all bosses understood their staff.

Jiang Junnan thought she was quite perceptive and told her she could start work the next day. That’s when Chen Xinyi realized the man in front of her was the interviewer, General Manager Jiang. Jiang Junnan was sending a voice message to Gu Xun about some design details when someone from Jiang Yishi’s team overheard. Gu Xun asked about the situation and found out that person had overheard their talk about remote synchronization.

During the project proposal meeting, Gu Xun shared their idea — that their two-player interaction system was an upgrade based on remote synchronization. After both teams presented, the project that was approved was Gu Xun’s “Narrow Path. ” Wei Han submitted his resignation to Jiang Yishi. Jiang Yishi asked if he wasn’t even going to apply for a department transfer and was quitting directly. Wei Han said AAA was his dream.

Jiang Yishi replied that AAA games were extremely difficult and that almost no one in the country could make them. Wei Han said he still wanted to give it a try. Gu Xun and his team moved back to the original Ninth Division, which was next to Yue Qianling’s First Division. Gu Xun asked Jiang Junnan if he wanted to join them for a meal since their friend Camel was in town.

Jiang Junnan said he was busy and wouldn’t go. Huang Jie mentioned that Yin Jun wasn’t around, so they should enjoy a good meal. Just then, Gu Xun and his team also arrived. Huang Jie invited them to sit and eat together, and Gu Xun happened to sit next to Yue Qianling. Camel sent a message in their group chat, and both Yue Qianling and Gu Xun replied.

Gu Xun began to suspect that the Yue Qianling beside him might be Little Twist based on what she said. He tested her with a few questions and heard Little Twist mention that she worked with her crush. Gu Xun felt a little down and made an excuse to leave. Yue Qianling also said that the school gate would close soon and she needed to head back.

As they walked out, Yue Qianling asked Gu Xun if she could ride back to school with him. When Gu Xun didn’t respond, she said she’d just take the subway instead. Gu Xun told her the subway had stopped running and said she could take his car. On New Year’s Eve, Yue Qianling and Yin Xue dressed up and got ready to go out. Camel also came to Jiangcheng to visit Gu Xun. Yue Qianling and Yin Xue watched fireworks together, while Gu Xun was with Camel.
