Lin Tuo grew up with his grandfather from a young age. His grandfather doted on him, and he was very filial. When his grandfather accidentally saw his test results, he felt an unspeakable pain in his heart. Before he passed away, his grandfather wrote a letter to Lin Tuo, encouraging him to face the illness bravely. His grandfather's unexpected passing deeply affected Lin Tuo.

Lin Tuo pushed his wheelchair to the riverside, wanting to end his remaining life. An Zhique arrived in time and saved him.

Lin Tuo was determined to die, begging An Zhique not to save him. An Zhique tried to persuade him gently, but Lin Tuo had no desire to live. He couldn't bear the physical and mental pain and blows, nor did he want to burden An Zhique anymore. He desperately struggled out of An Zhique's embrace and pushed his wheelchair towards the middle of the river. An Zhique was heartbroken and fiercely scolded him awake. The two embraced and cried.

Chen Guangpu, He Xindi, A Bao, and Jiang Chucheng rushed over upon hearing the news. Seeing the scene before them, they all felt a pang in their hearts. An Zhique stayed by Lin Tuo's side every step of the way, encouraging him to live strongly and fight the illness together. Chen Guangpu was worried that Lin Tuo might resort to drastic measures again and wanted to watch over him at the hospital.

He Xindi advised him not to put any pressure on Lin Tuo, but just let him spend each day happily. An Hegui brought food to Lin Tuo and tried hard to cheer him up. Chen Guangpu and He Xindi also came to see Lin Tuo, telling him various jokes. Dongdong and Yang Qiuguo also came to keep Lin Tuo company. Jiang Chucheng also brought Lin Tuo a computer and asked him to try modifying the design drawings.

An Zhique also asked Lin Tuo to organize the care manual, and Lin Tuo readily agreed. --- Late at night, He Xindi suddenly suffered from severe stomach pain. She called Chen Guangpu for help. Chen Guangpu was drinking, but he immediately went out to buy medicine without a second thought. More than an hour passed, and Chen Guangpu still hadn't appeared. The police received a report from a taxi driver and quickly found Chen Guangpu. Chen Guangpu had taken a taxi around to buy medicine, but all the pharmacies were closed. Chen Guangpu finally found an open pharmacy, but he fell asleep outside the pharmacy due to being drunk. The driver called the police out of fear. He Xindi rushed to the pharmacy. He Xindi was live-streaming sales, and Chen Guangpu proposed to her in front of the audience. The two of them went to the nursing home together to announce their relationship to An Zhique and Lin Tuo, and also invited them to go together to choose wedding dresses. He Xindi and Chen Guangpu carefully selected wedding dresses and outfits, and also had Lin Tuo and An Zhique try on wedding attire.
