After Ruan Qingxia finished talking about Xing Kelei, she remembered she had originally wanted to tell Mi Ka about being harassed by a pervert. But after chatting with Mi Ka for a bit, her mood improved significantly.
Mi Ka took the opportunity to ask about how to buy the toy Ruan Qingxia liked and passed the information on to Shu Wenbo, mentioning that Ruan Qingxia hadn’t been in a good mood lately and would probably be happy if she received a gift from him. When Xing Kelei came home, Mi Ka was already asleep. But Xing Kelei was worried that she was pretending to sleep out of anger.

Xing Kelei accompanied Shen Jianing for the check-up, while Mi Ka handed the report to Shao Yuhan. Shao Yuhan suggested another surgery, saying there was a good chance Shen Jianing could walk again afterward.
Mi Ka then told He Xiaoxiao to arrange a private room for Shen Jianing if one became available. After Shen Jianing was admitted, Shen Jianan dragged Mi Ka to fetch hot water, intentionally bringing up childhood stories between Shen Jianing and Xing Kelei to hint that Shen Jianing was Xing Kelei’s first love, hoping to make Mi Ka jealous.
Meanwhile, Shen Jianing pretended to have a headache in front of Mi Ka and clung to Xing Kelei, also trying to provoke jealousy. Neither of their schemes worked, prompting Shen Jianan to consider changing tactics.
