Shen Zhengyi raced home to find her mother preparing dinner and discreetly inquired about a package. Her mother admitted to opening it, causing Shen Zhengyi distress until her father arrived, relieving the tension. It was then that Shen Zhengyi discovered her father had secretly hidden the Wind Chasing Team acceptance letter. Overjoyed by the long-awaited notification, Shen Zhengyi’s father expressed concern about her physical endurance, but she, passionate about skating, assured him she was prepared for the hard work ahead.
The next morning, Shen Zhengyi, dressed in her Wind Chasing Team uniform, arrived at the training room. Veteran teammates, led by Liu Sisi, mocked her for her unrefined technique. Zhu Lele, however, immediately stepped up to defend Shen Zhengyi. Soon after, Zhuang Yue and Xiao Han entered the room. Zhuang Yue informed Shen Zhengyi that as a probationary member, she needed to rank in the top three in the upcoming Inter-college competition to secure her place on the team.
Zhuang Yue then announced that she would be overseeing the training of the veteran members, assigning Xiao Han to train the new recruits. Luo Xiaoyi strongly objected, insisting that Xiao Han continue her special training. Xiao Han explained that he agreed to train the new members because he needed to understand them, especially Shen Zhengyi, whom he saw as a potential replacement for Liu Sisi as Luo Xiaoyi's auxiliary partner.
Luo Xiaoyi grudgingly agreed to train with Zhuang Yue, on the condition that her special training with Xiao Han not be canceled. Xiao Han promised to find a solution. During the new recruits' training, Shen Zhengyi repeatedly struggled with her turns. Xiao Han patiently offered guidance, encouraging her not to be discouraged. Luo Xiaoyi, observing this, was visibly displeased, believing Shen Zhengyi was intentionally trying to get close to Xiao Han.
Meanwhile, Shao Beisheng and Xiao Qing began their official training. Their synchronized performance earned them praise from Coach Ma. Aiming for a standout performance, they both requested an extra hour of daily training, which Coach Ma allowed. Later, Xiao Qing asked Shao Beisheng if his former partner, Liu Fei, liked him.
Shao Beisheng confirmed that Liu Fei had confessed her feelings but reiterated his principle of not dating his skating partners to avoid complicating their professional relationship, a view Xiao Qing shared. After their session, Shen Zhengyi approached Xiao Han for further guidance, which Liu Sisi used as an opportunity to instigate Luo Xiaoyi. When new member Fang Nan asked Xiao Han if she could train longer, he agreed. However, Liu Sisi intervened, claiming training was over.
Shen Zhengyi defended Fang Nan, leading to a heated argument. Zhuang Yue, hearing the commotion, arrived and reprimanded them all, declaring that the entire team would undergo an additional hour of training daily. Following this, Liu Sisi and other veterans cornered Shen Zhengyi in the locker room, blaming her for the mandatory extra training. Liu Sisi splashed water on Shen Zhengyi's face and demanded an apology. Defiant, Shen Zhengyi refused and stormed out.
Outside, Shen Zhengyi encountered Shao Beisheng, who sensed she had been bullied. He offered his support, telling her to use his name if anyone bothered her, and gave her his coat. Later, having caught a cold, Shao Beisheng was teased by Qu Zhi, to whom he admitted giving his coat to Shen Zhengyi. He then asked Qu Zhi to keep an eye on her.
Frustrated, Luo Xiaoyi and Liu Sisi plotted to undermine Zhuang Yue, hoping to have her replaced by Xiao Han. The next day marked the first combined training session. Zhuang Yue instructed Luo Xiaoyi to lead at a controlled pace and assigned Shen Zhengyi to the back, warning her not to speed up. However, Luo Xiaoyi and Liu Sisi deliberately accelerated, taunting Shen Zhengyi as they lapped her.
Unwilling to be humiliated, Shen Zhengyi sped up to catch them, ignoring Zhuang Yue’s shouts. The pursuit ended with several skaters colliding on a turn. Zhuang Yue took the injured skaters to the infirmary before punishing Shen Zhengyi by banning her from ice training and assigning her to clean the equipment room. Xiao Han argued the penalty was too harsh, and Shen Zhengyi defended herself, accusing Liu Sisi and Luo Xiaoyi of provoking her.
Ultimately, Zhuang Yue ordered all three to clean the room together. Qu Zhi informed Shao Beisheng about Shen Zhengyi's punishment. In response, Shao Beisheng rallied the male figure skaters to help. To motivate his teammates, he declared that Shen Zhengyi was his girlfriend, leaving her bewildered but grateful. After cleaning, Shen Zhengyi confronted him about the lie. Seizing the opportunity, Shao Beisheng proposed a solution to get her back on the ice: a contractual relationship.
He presented a contract stipulating that she must not develop romantic feelings for him and must not disclose their arrangement. When she noted it didn't mention helping her, he promised to add the clause. Meanwhile, Zhu Lele confronted Shen Zhengyi about the relationship. Shen Zhengyi hesitantly confirmed it, much to Zhu Lele's delight, as she no longer had to do chores for Qu Zhi to get information about Shao Beisheng for her fan page.
Elsewhere, Xiao Han warned Luo Xiaoyi to stop targeting Shen Zhengyi. Luo Xiaoyi defended her actions, citing her dislike for Shen Zhengyi and the disruption to her special training. The following morning, Shao Beisheng began enforcing the "relationship," commanding Shen Zhengyi to bring him breakfast. In the cafeteria, he loudly announced that his "girlfriend" had brought him food, catching the attention of other students, including a curious Xiao Qing.
Later, Xiao Qing questioned Shen Zhengyi about the relationship, receiving awkward answers. Shao Beisheng joined them, reinforcing the facade. He then imposed a strict schedule on Shen Zhengyi, demanding she bring him breakfast daily. Later, Qu Zhi and Shao Beisheng appeared to be executing a secret plan involving the ice rink key and Coach Ma's office. Liu Sisi, however, spotted Qu Zhi acting suspiciously and confronted him.
