Sweet Teeth Synopsis
The 25-year-old librarian Zeng Li meets the deputy chief dentist Ai Jingchu due to orthodontic treatment, they experience snowy nights together, hide-and-seek in welfare house, pirate ship New Year’s Eve, etc. From misunderstanding to acquaintance, they slowly walked into the other’s heart.
When they are ready to confess to each other, Yu Yi, the best friend of Ai Jingchu, whom Zeng Li has been waiting for ten years to be her “first love”, returns to China and starts a fierce pursuit of Zeng Li.
After reading Zeng Li’s novel “The Story of Yu and Small Fish”, Ai Jingchu misunderstands that the person Zeng Li loves in her heart has always been Yu Yi, so he abandons his plan to confess his love and decides to go on a medical aid mission in Africa.
However, Yu Yi’s sudden confession makes Zeng Li more clear in her heart and she returns to Ai Jingchu’s side without hesitation, and they finally become a couple.

Episode 1 Recap
Twenty-six-year-old Zeng Li is a librarian at Donghu University. She has spent eight years studying and working here. Many people don't understand why she stayed at the university, probably because Zeng Li likes simple tasks, although occasionally she makes mistakes. The university is far from the city's hustle and bustle. The coffee shop next to it was taken over by Zeng Li and her sisters two years ago by pooling their money.
Her colleagues were researching the ranking of the most handsome guys at Donghu University. Unexpectedly, the top two were not students but two male teachers. Ai Jingchu from the School of Medicine, with his outstanding appearance, had only been here a short time but had already left the looks of a group of post-00s students far behind, ranking second. Moreover, he was already an attending physician at a young age. Zeng Li paid a little attention.

Ai Jingchu's sudden pauses while speaking made Zeng Li's heart beat even faster. Zeng Li's mother planned to go back after Zeng Li got her braces on. Zeng Li made an excuse that she still had things to do at the coffee shop. Zeng Li's mother complained that the coffee shop wasn't making money, that a university graduate's dream was to be a librarian and open a coffee shop, that she had no ambition and wasn't looking for a boyfriend. Zeng Li was utterly resigned.
Dou Dou had a class at 10:30 and asked Zeng Li to help her answer roll call. Zeng Li had no choice but to change into a younger-looking outfit and go to the classroom. While casually flipping through a magazine, Ai Jingchu walked into the classroom and announced that Professor Wang had a sudden heart attack and was hospitalized, so he would be teaching all the classes this semester.
Zeng Li quickly pulled her hat down and lowered her head, thinking of a countermeasure. After all, Ai Jingchu knew Dou Dou. Ai Jingchu had found Zeng Li's name on the library cards. Was this like saying "I was here"?
The next day, Ai Jingchu came to the library to borrow books. A colleague borrowed Zeng Li's phone to secretly take pictures. Zeng Li could only curse her inwardly for being boy-crazy. Ai Jingchu walked towards Zeng Li. Zeng Li quickly lowered her head and prayed he wouldn't come over, but Ai Jingchu happened to come before her and said he was looking for a book. Zeng Li reluctantly took out her phone to help him search.

A girl gave him a cup of milk tea. Ai Jingchu didn't want to hurt her, so he accepted it and gave it to Zeng Li when he returned, saying it was for her to ice her face. After her live stream ended, Ma Yiyi was scrolling through her Moments on her phone when she accidentally saw a photo.
She immediately rushed to the internet cafe and exposed her boyfriend Zhang Teng, who had lied about being on a business trip. Zeng Li and Ai Jingchu finally walked to the hotel, but unexpectedly, the place Ai Jingchu was going to was the Dongshan Convalescence Center, which was in the opposite direction of where they got off. After dropping off Zeng Li at the hotel, he would also have to go back.

On the way to watch the sunset, Ai Jingchu received a call from Liu Yucheng. Liu Yucheng said he had fallen for a girl, but she didn't pay much attention to him. Ai Jingchu didn't know much about relationships either and could only offer him encouragement.
After hanging up, Ai Jingchu saw Zeng Li holding her waist and looking for the concentric lock. Zeng Li was thinking how great it would be if Ai Jingchu were there right now, and unexpectedly, Ai Jingchu really appeared the next second. Wu Ying planned to take Liu Yucheng to meet her parents, thinking "sooner or later, might as well get it over with".
