Just as Hu Youyu was hesitating about whether to call his father, Jin Ming came to him first. Bai Manjun had been persistently guarding the dessert shop for days, demanding Jin Ming and the other three men apologize to Hu Youyu. Jin Ming had never seen such a determined woman and, with no other option, contacted Hu Youyu. When Hu Youyu arrived, Jin Ming was practically ready to kneel and beg for forgiveness.

Jin Ming explained that the three friends were tourists from Dali who had already returned home, and there was no way to get them to fly back just to apologize. But Bai Manjun didn’t accept that—she insisted Jin Ming bring the other three within two days or she would keep showing up to cause trouble. Hu Youyu was deeply moved by Bai Manjun’s sense of justice and felt enlightened.

That night, he opened up to her, sharing his past struggles and explaining how his thick skin and his father's tough upbringing helped him survive. When he started a band, his father fiercely opposed it and even brought people to disrupt his performance. Now his father had suffered a stroke and couldn’t use his hands, but still cursed Hu Youyu whenever he saw him. Despite this, Hu Youyu gradually came to terms with it and continued pursuing what he loved.

Bai Manjun admired his perseverance and praised his dedication, which made Hu Youyu a bit shy. Although Grandpa Yang agreed to rent out the old house, his son, Yang Deqing, demanded an outrageously high rent. Xie Zhiyao and Huang Xinxin tried to negotiate, but if it didn’t work out, they planned to request a new plot of land from the village committee. Unfortunately, Deqing was like a “tough nut”—he wouldn’t budge no matter how they tried to persuade him.

When the old house plan failed, Huang Xinxin applied for new land through the village committee and asked Auntie Agui to keep it a secret. Under Bai Manjun’s strong insistence, Jin Ming reluctantly brought back his three friends to apologize to Hu Youyu. They greeted him with smiles, treated him to a meal, and even brought gifts afterward. Hu Youyu, who had always been humble and low-profile, thoroughly enjoyed this moment of dignity.

Riding his drunken courage, he knocked on Bai Manjun’s door. He gave her the gifts and thanked her for taking care of him lately, even calling her a soulmate. Bai Manjun was happy to see him regain his confidence and comforted him. Unexpectedly, Hu Youyu blocked the door to stop her from closing it. In the still of the night, swept up in the moment, they ended up in bed together.

The noise was so loud that Xu Hongdou and Lin Na in the next room couldn’t sleep. The next morning, Xie Zhiyao personally made buns for Xu Hongdou and worked in the kitchen for quite a while. Xu Hongdou shared gossip about Bai Manjun and Hu Youyu. Xie Zhiyao teased that she was just like the village aunties. Xu Hongdou pretended to get angry, and their playful banter was full of romantic sweetness.

A travel blogger, invited by Xie Zhiyao, recorded a special tourism video about Yunmiao Village, showcasing its local customs and specialties. The video also featured Lin Na, whose appearance and demeanor made the blogger suggest she could be a celebrity. But Lin Na was visibly uneasy about it and made frequent mistakes at work. On the other hand, the video made viewers fall in love with Yunmiao Village, leading to a sharp increase in tie-dye and fruit product sales.

The aunties couldn’t keep up with the orders, so Huang Xinxin and Xu Hongdou rushed to help. Auntie Agui gossiped with others about the old house, and soon word spread throughout the village. When Yang Deqing heard, he tried to find Xie Zhiyao but discovered he was too busy to meet.

Deqing originally wanted to make a hefty profit, but after learning from Xie Anai that the village was approving new plots, he grew anxious at the thought of missing out on a fortune yet had no idea what to do. Late at night, Xu Hongdou was packing deliveries in the warehouse when Xie Zhiyao came up behind her and tried to flirt. Just then, Xie Xiaochun entered.

Facing her curiosity, Xu Hongdou openly admitted that she and Xie Zhiyao were now in a relationship, then asked Xie Xiaochun about her and Ahui. Xie Xiaochun denied liking Ahui and mentioned that Yang Deqing was getting anxious—he had gone to the village committee that afternoon to see Huang Xinxin but missed her because she was out.
