Murong Jing, Xie Lingyun, and Murong Ce all leapt forward to help Mo Xiao reinforce the Thousand Years Token, while Chong Guang fiercely battled Murong Changfeng. Murong Changfeng was struck by Chong Guang and coughed up blood. Realizing he couldn’t harm Chong Guang, Murong Changfeng pointed his sword at Feng Lixue. In order to protect Feng Lixue, Chong Guang took a blow from Murong Changfeng and shattered the Blood Demon Pearl.

Murong Changfeng reminded Chong Guang that this time, he would never be able to come back to life. In an instant, Chong Guang's hair turned white. Mo Xiao told Chong Guang to take Feng Lixue and leave, while he stayed behind to face Murong Changfeng alone. Murong Changfeng was convinced that Chong Guang had been struck in a fatal spot and believed that Mo Xiao could no longer stop him.

In their fierce battle, Mo Xiao accused Murong Changfeng of murdering his fellow disciples and vowed to avenge the innocent lives lost. Murong Changfeng was no match for Mo Xiao and was killed on the spot by a single strike. Murong Jing and her brother, while reinforcing the seal, couldn't help but shed tears, but they did not stop channeling their power into the seal. Mo Xiao felt at peace.

All he wanted was for Ni Huang to live on, life after life. He struck down Xie Lingyun and the other two from the sealing platform, determined to use his own body to seal the Thousand Years Token. In front of Feng Lixue, scenes from the past appeared—she saw the moment when Feng Xingtian pleaded with Chong Guang to save her. In truth, Chong Guang could no longer supply her with longevity blood, so he gave her the Bingqingfu instead, hoping his Feng Lixue could live forever. Ten years of companionship had been enough. Ni Huang wanted to help him, but Hualang tried to stop her, fearing the situation would worsen. However, Ni Huang insisted on going to help seal the Token. Mo Xiao urged Feng Lixue to leave quickly. Ni Huang realized Mo Xiao intended to use his soul to save her again. She kissed Mo Xiao, unwilling to let him sacrifice himself again. She wanted to handle everything on her own.

Without hesitation, Ni Huang leapt onto the sealing platform of the Thousand Years Token. Mo Xiao also leaped after her, the two of them holding hands and looking into each other’s eyes. Murong Ce handed the Fengyue Sword to Xie Tianjun. Mo Xiao and Feng Lixue sealed the Thousand Years Token with their physical bodies, earning great merit. The Heavenly Emperor restored Ni Huang’s divine status and reinstated the winged clan’s standing among the gods.

Xie Lingyun and Murong Jing were married, marking a joyous day for Shushan. Ni Huang also attended. Suddenly, she seemed to see a familiar silhouette. The person turned around and asked Ni Huang for directions, introducing himself as Bai Yan, a new disciple of Shushan. Ni Huang smiled.
