Murong Ce followed Murong Changfeng into the secret chamber and discovered Murong Changfeng manipulating something inside a giant cauldron. Murong Changfeng was not surprised to see Murong Ce; instead, he revealed his plan—to go to Buzhou Mountain to unseal the Fengyue Sword and retrieve the Thousand Years Token. He had originally pinned his hopes on Chong Guang, but Chong Guang had proven incompetent.

Murong Ce tried to persuade Murong Changfeng to admit his mistakes, believing that Mount Shu might still show leniency. However, Murong Changfeng struck him down, calling him useless, and left with something retrieved from the cauldron. Just as Xie Lingyun regained consciousness, Murong Ce, injured, arrived and informed Xuan Qing and Xie Tianjun of Murong Changfeng's plot. But Lingyun was worried that the sects of the Immortal Gate wouldn't believe them.

Murong Jing took out the Sect Leader's Token, which Mo Xiao had given her when he sent her back. She believed that with this token, the other sects would believe them. Suddenly, Mo Xiao thought of the name Ni Huang. At that moment, Feng Lixue returned, and Mo Xiao mistook her for Ni Huang. Feng Lixue asked Mo Xiao to fetch some water, while she prepared a large red "Double Happiness" character to surprise him.

While fetching water, Mo Xiao recalled many memories about Bai Yan and Ni Huang. Eager to uncover the truth, he summoned Hualang to investigate who these two were. Hualang excitedly told Mo Xiao that Bai Yan was his name in the Heavenly Realm. Mo Xiao also remembered that he had sealed Ni Huang’s spiritual energy back then, making her impossible to find—only Bai Yan could locate her. After two lifetimes, he had finally found Ni Huang.

Overwhelmed with emotion, Mo Xiao rushed back to find Feng Lixue, only to discover she had been abducted by a black mist. Mo Xiao picked up the flower ball Feng Lixue had dropped. Just then, news arrived that a conspiracy was brewing at Mount Shu, and he instructed Hualang to deliver the message to Wushuang. Wushuang went to fetch Ji Xingluo and told her the time had come—they had also found her son.

Chong Guang had already been thrown into the Demon Prison. Ji Xingluo was shocked to learn that the one who raised the young lord of the asura clan was actually Yuan Beichen. Wushuang told her Yuan Beichen was already dead and returned Ji Xingluo’s magical artifact to her. Ji Xingluo couldn’t accept this outcome. She had waited for Yuan Beichen’s apology, but in the end, he hanged himself without ever saying a word.

Wushuang urged Ji Xingluo not to grieve—there were still important things to do after leaving. Murong Changfeng brought Changming, who was carrying Feng Lixue, to Buzhou Mountain. Seeing that the heads of various sects had also arrived, Murong Changfeng quickly had Changming hide Feng Lixue. Everyone demanded that Murong Changfeng be captured and held accountable. Though he tried to make excuses, Murong Ce arrived with Lingxiang and demanded she speak the truth in front of everyone.

Lingxiang dared not speak, fearing it would endanger Changming's life. Hearing this, Changming rushed out and realized that Murong Changfeng had deceived them both, turning them into his death servants. Xie Tianjun used the Sect Leader’s Token to strip Murong Changfeng of his position and escort him back to Mount Shu for judgment. But Murong Changfeng mocked them as mere ants who couldn't harm him. His first act was to injure both Changming and Lingxiang.

Xuan Qing and Xie Tianjun joined forces to attack him. As Murong Changfeng was about to strike Xuan Qing, Lingxiang stepped forward to block the blow and vanished in Changming’s arms as a result. Murong Changfeng then activated the demonic power within him, fled with Feng Lixue, and made it clear to everyone that he had succumbed to demonization.

At this moment, Mo Xiao arrived, and everyone entrusted the responsibility of guarding the Thousand Years Token to him, thanking him for protecting it despite past grievances. Wushuang publicly announced that they would not participate in the battle for the Thousand Years Token and would remain in their homeland to restore the Demon Sect. Everyone shouted in unison in support.

Changming came to inform Chong Guang that Murong Changfeng had already gone to Buzhou Mountain to seize the Thousand Years Token. After speaking, he died in front of Chong Guang. Murong Changfeng arrived at Buzhou Mountain and used Feng Lixue as leverage to force Mo Xiao to unlock the third seal. Mo Xiao knew that if the Thousand Years Token was activated, Ni Huang’s true identity would be revealed, and the Heavenly Realm would come for her.

Moreover, he no longer had a second Dragon Pearl to protect her. In front of everyone, Mo Xiao agreed to open the seal and told them to wait below. At the location of the sealed Thousand Years Token, instead of unsealing it, Mo Xiao reinforced it, infuriating Murong Changfeng, who tried to stop him. Murong Ce and his sister, along with Xie Lingyun, arrived to block Murong Changfeng but were wounded by him.

Grieving, Murong Ce severed all father-son ties with Murong Changfeng. Murong Changfeng rushed to Mo Xiao and warned him that if he acted recklessly, he would kill Feng Lixue. At that moment, Chong Guang also arrived and mocked Murong Changfeng for being a fool. He revealed that he had long known Changming was a plant placed by Murong Changfeng.

Murong Changfeng retaliated by exposing that the Ice Silkworm Parasite between Chong Guang and Feng Lixue was the only thing keeping Chong Guang in check. Enraged, Chong Guang gathered mysterious demonic energy in his palm.
