When Xiao Yicheng finished the interview and was about to leave, Teacher Chen stopped him. She asked Xiao Yicheng when they could team up to play games together. Tong Xin asked if the two of them knew each other before. Teacher Chen said they were from the same school and used to play games together often. Teacher Chen invited Xiao Yicheng to attend their company's event next week to help them take a set of cover photos.

Xiao Yicheng neither refused nor agreed, so Tong Xin told Teacher Chen that she would make the arrangements. Lin Xi's father was worried sick about her maternal grandfather's big birthday, but Lin Xi looked indifferent. Her father asked her to care more, but Lin Xi felt that her maternal grandfather never took her father seriously, which was why she didn't care. Lin Xi told her father that there was progress on her going to the United Nations.

Her father was a little sad after hearing this, as he would miss Lin Xi. Lin Xi pretended that she was going to tell the company she wouldn't go. Her father quickly stopped her. As soon as Lin Xi arrived at the company, Wei Tian quickly pulled her aside. He told Lin Xi that Yuyi had complained about Ling Feng regarding the press conference. Lin Xi quickly went to Yuyi Technology. Maomao received Lin Xi.

Lin Xi asked him if he was dissatisfied with their company's translation. Maomao told her there was no problem and that Tong Xin was particularly satisfied with her. Lin Xi was confused why they received a complaint. Maomao asked and found out it was Xiao Yicheng who complained. Lin Xi asked him if there was any way to turn the situation around. Maomao told her only if she could make Xiao Yicheng change his mind.

Xiao Yicheng was holding a meeting with his employees. He asked them for their opinions on Lin Xi's translation of classical poetry. Opinions varied. Maomao interrupted Xiao Yicheng's meeting. Xiao Yicheng asked Maomao if someone else was paying him. Lin Xi wanted to talk to Xiao Yicheng about the complaint. Xiao Yicheng told her he was having a meeting. Lin Xi said she could wait for him. Xiao Yicheng said the end time was not yet confirmed.

Lin Xi waited outside by herself. Xiao Yicheng couldn't help but ask one of his employees to bring Lin Xi a glass of water. Lin Xi asked if their company was usually this busy. The employee told her that after the 1. 0 version was finished, they could actually rest for a while, but Xiao Yicheng, for some reason, insisted that the 2. 0 version should have human consciousness. Lin Xi felt that a machine couldn't possibly have human consciousness.

She expressed a series of views on this point. Xiao Yicheng also understood what Lin Xi said. He felt that a translation personality should be added to the machine. Just as Xiao Yicheng was about to invite Lin Xi to dinner, Wei Tian called and told Lin Xi to hurry back. Lin Xi told Xiao Yicheng they could talk another day when they had time. Xiao Yicheng had originally planned to have dinner with Lin Xi.

He angrily threatened her, asking if she really wanted to blow the matter up. Lin Xi then agreed to have dinner with Xiao Yicheng. Xiao Yicheng took Lin Xi to his school. He had something to discuss with his professor and asked Lin Xi to wander around by herself and wait for him. Xiao Yicheng took Lin Xi to Lao Zhu's restaurant, where they often came to eat eight years ago.

Xiao Yicheng ordered a dish of fatty intestine rice, but the boss told him they didn't have this dish. Xiao Yicheng felt his words were not rigorous at all. Just because he didn't know didn't mean it didn't exist. The boss felt that Xiao Yicheng wasn't there to eat but to cause trouble. Lin Xi quickly walked over, took the menu, and ordered the dishes. Xiao Yicheng felt the dishes had changed, everything had changed.

Lin Xi asked him what he wanted. Xiao Yicheng still asked her about the issue of artificial intelligence replacing human translation. Lin Xi asked him if her answer would satisfy him, would he withdraw the complaint. The boss brought the dishes. Xiao Yicheng told him to take them away and not serve the rest. Lin Xi saw the boss's difficulty. She told the boss to bring them over, she would eat.

Lin Xi told Xiao Yicheng that everything changes, nothing stays the same. People still need to eat. Xiao Yicheng told her he was just that stubborn. Lin Xi told him that now she was even more convinced of her original choice. She felt it was the only correct decision she had ever made.
