Lin Xi came to Xiao Yicheng's house to ask him how his neck was. Xiao Yicheng said his neck hurt a lot and he couldn't sleep at night. Lin Xi immediately wanted to take him to the hospital, but Xiao Yicheng told her there was no need to go to the hospital, a little comfort from her would be fine. Xiao Yicheng wanted Lin Xi to move in with him.

Lin Xi told him to dream on, anything is possible in a dream. Cheng Yao came to visit Grandma Li. Grandma Li saw that Cheng Yao had something on his mind. Cheng Yao told her that he recently fell in love with a woman who was older than him and was divorced. Cheng Yao was afraid Grandma Li would be angry.

Grandma Li told him that as long as the feelings between two people are consensual and don't break the law, they are good. Cheng Yao told Grandma Li that he had tried everything he could, but the woman wouldn't budge. So Grandma Li gave Cheng Yao some advice. Cheng Yao was very happy and told Grandma Li to wait for his good news. Cheng Yao came to find Tong Xin.

He saw that Tong Xin had already drunk four cups of coffee before noon. He took Tong Xin to the rooftop and gave her a jump rope. Tong Xin told him she was already tired enough from work and she didn't like exercising. Cheng Yao told her that he was asking her to exercise so she could have a healthy body. Only with a good body could she work well, make Yuyi go public, and earn money to support Peter.

Tong Xin started jumping rope after hearing his words, but she always struggled. Cheng Yao came to jump with her. The two of them were face to face, very close. Tong Xin was no longer so resistant to Cheng Yao. She told Cheng Yao that this was enough for today and considered it a warm-up. Cheng Yao was about to grab her and tell her not to go, but Tong Xin shook him off.

Their conversation was overheard by Xiao Yicheng and Lin Xi. They asked Tong Xin what she would continue doing tomorrow.

Cheng Yao said exercising. Xiao Yicheng said he had known her for so many years and didn't know she exercised. Tong Xin was about to make an excuse saying she had something to do tomorrow and couldn't exercise, but she was exposed by both Lin Xi and Xiao Yicheng. Tong Xin looked at Xiao Yicheng with eyes that wanted to kill someone and said she really thanked him.

Chen Ji called Tan Shasha to ask her when she could finish translating his book. Only then did Tan Shasha realize that Chen Ji had specifically requested her to do the translation for him. Tan Shasha came to Huasheng and had a big fight with Wei Tian because of this matter. Tan Shasha returned home very sadly.

She was originally planning to go straight back to her room, but Gao Ling called out to her and asked her to come eat. Tan Shasha couldn't help but cry when she ate the ribs her mother had specially stewed for her. Tan Shasha told Gao Ling that she really liked Wei Tian. She really hoped to be together with Wei Tian, but she didn't know why things turned out this way.

Gao Ling told her that he didn't disagree with them being together because Wei Tian had no money or status, but because two people without common paths cannot maintain a relationship solely by changing themselves. Gao Ling told Tan Shasha that if two people who are too different are together, one of them must make a sacrifice. He asked Tan Shasha if she was determined to change for him, or if she could persuade Wei Tian to change for her.

After much thought, Tan Shasha broke up with Wei Tian. Wei Tian called her, but she didn't answer. The next day, Wei Tian went downstairs to buy coffee and saw Chen Ji coming to find Tan Shasha. Chen Ji gave Tan Shasha a theatre ticket. After the meeting, Wei Tian wanted to talk to Tan Shasha. Tan Shasha told him that she had already made it clear enough and there was nothing more to say.

Wei Tian didn't know what to do. He found Lin Xi and Xiao Yicheng to help him brainstorm ideas. The next day, Wei Tian also gave Tan Shasha a theatre ticket and invited her to go see it with him. Lin Xi happened to come to deliver documents to Tan Shasha and saw the two theatre tickets.

Lin Xi said this ticket was very hard to buy, and she and Xiao Yicheng tried for a long time but couldn't get one. Tan Shasha gave the two tickets to Lin Xi and Xiao Yicheng. When Lin Xi and Xiao Yicheng went, they ran into Chen Ji and Wei Tian who also went. The two of them were at loggerheads over Tan Shasha. Lin Xi and Xiao Yicheng also felt very awkward.
