Cheng Yao took Tong Xin home. On the way home, Tong Xin fell asleep leaning on Cheng Yao's shoulder. Tong Xin was teaching Peter at home. Peter said it was the weekend and he wanted to go out and play. Tong Xin told him he could go out after he finished studying. Tong Xin received a call and told Peter she had to go to the company.

She told him to play at home by himself, and there was food in the fridge he could heat up in the microwave if he was hungry. Cheng Yao returned home and saw Peter alone on the sofa. He asked Peter why he was home alone. Peter told him his mom went to work overtime. Cheng Yao returned to his room and heard Peter turn the TV volume up very high.

He came out and asked Peter if he was scared, which was why he turned the TV volume up so loud. Peter told him he wasn't scared at all, but Cheng Yao knew he must be scared, so he quietly stayed by Peter's side. While Peter was taking a bath, he called out to Cheng Yao occasionally.
