Lin Xi woke up from the hotel bed. She recalled the scene of herself getting drunk last night. Lin Xi got up from the bed, sneakily put on her shoes and prepared to leave. Xiao Yicheng asked her if she wanted to run away. Lin Xi asked him how he was here. Before Xiao Yicheng could speak, Lin Xi told him to get dressed first. Lin Xi asked how she got here.

Xiao Yicheng asked her if she didn't want Grandma Li to see her so drunk. Lin Xi asked him again how he was here. Xiao Yicheng told her he also wanted to leave, but Lin Xi held onto him and wouldn't let him. Xiao Yicheng told Lin Xi that last night she hugged him, cried, and made a fuss, even crying that she shouldn't have said break up back then. Before Xiao Yicheng finished, Lin Xi started hiccuping.

Xiao Yicheng saw that Lin Xi was getting nervous again, so he quickly handed her a bottle of water. Lin Xi didn't believe what Xiao Yicheng said. Xiao Yicheng knew Lin Xi wouldn't believe him, so he took out the video he had prepared long ago. Lin Xi, however, thought the video was synthesized, a new technology they at Yu Yi had just developed.

Xiao Yicheng still wanted to struggle, but Lin Xi said that if she were drunk, she would definitely have a thick tongue and couldn't speak so clearly. Seeing this, Xiao Yicheng had no choice but to tell Lin Xi the truth. He had originally thought he could hold out for a while longer.

Lin Xi came to the living room and said she was very grateful to Xiao Yicheng for taking care of her during this time and tolerating her coldness towards him. She wanted to tell Xiao Yicheng the reason they broke up back then. She spoke for a long time, but there was no movement. Lin Xi walked to the living room to look and saw that Xiao Yicheng had already left.

He left a note saying he had something to do and went back to the company first. Just then, Lin Xi received a call from Old Zhu inviting them to gather. Lin Xi asked Old Zhu if Xiao Yicheng was going. Old Zhu told her Xiao Yicheng would go, so Lin Xi told him she would go too. Old Zhu gave them wedding candies. They all asked Old Zhu whose wedding candies they were.

Old Zhu told them they were his. They were all curious who had finally tamed this rough guy Old Zhu. As he spoke, Old Zhu called his wife over. They saw that Old Zhu's wife was very beautiful. Old Zhu told them his wife was his first love, and he went to Yunnan just to win her back. Hearing Old Zhu say this, Xiao Yicheng held Lin Xi's hand.

Old Zhu told them he planned to close down this small shop. He was preparing to return to Tengchong with his wife. Lin Xi asked if he wasn't coming back. Old Zhu told them he wanted to live the simple life that belonged to just the two of them. After dinner, Lin Xi and Xiao Yicheng were preparing to leave together. Chen Xiao called out to Xiao Yicheng from behind.

She told Xiao Yicheng that Lin Xi had a very bad reputation in the industry, having recognized a whole bunch of "god-brothers" and "god-sisters". Did he really believe that Lin Xi and they were just simple friends? Chen Xiao felt that Xiao Yicheng's feelings for Lin Xi were an obsession. Xiao Yicheng told her that he was obsessed with Lin Xi. Chen Xiao felt that with her current resources, she could help Xiao Yicheng's career. Xiao Yicheng refused her kindness.

Chen Xiao shouted from behind that she would make Xiao Yicheng regret it. Lin Xi told Xiao Yicheng that she didn't tell him the truth when they broke up back then. In fact, she had received an admission letter from Huasheng that year. Xiao Yicheng understood why Lin Xi did that. She was afraid that Xiao Yicheng would give up going abroad because of it, and she also didn't want to give up this opportunity.

Xiao Yicheng asked Lin Xi if she would break up with him if they went back eight years. Lin Xi told him yes, because Xiao Yicheng loved that version of her. The two of them finally faced their true feelings. Xiao Yicheng kissed Lin Xi. Tong Xin and Cheng Yao went to a bar together to drink and resolve each other's issues.
