Bi Anhua leads Bai Tingjun to a cliff, revealing a unique pattern on her back and confessing she is the Star Flow Flower God's true love and disaster star. She explains that only one, either herself or Yi Fuling, can survive. Offering Bai Tingjun a dagger to choose, he hesitates, prompting Bi Anhua to leap from the cliff, sacrificing herself. Bai Tingjun is heartbroken, filled with regret as he remembers their time together.
Her sacrifice transforms her into the Yang Jade, which returns to his hand. Distraught, Bai Tingjun returns home, where he still imagines Bi Anhua's presence and finds a farewell note from her. Soon after, Star Gazer Sect disciples arrive to apprehend him for destroying the Seven Star Lamp, but Bai Tingjun fights them off, determined to find the Flower God Pendant first. Xue Feishuang is furious after learning her maid tried to frame Yi Fuling.
Confident in her destiny to become empress, she forbids her attendants from such deceitful acts. Meanwhile, Yi Fuling searches for the Golden Feather Token. Feng Ren confronts her, revealing Xue Feishuang orchestrated the incident involving the broken Bi Tong. Feng Ren then displays the severed hands of the culprits to Yi Fuling. Horrified, Yi Fuling angrily accuses Feng Ren of cowardice for only punishing subordinates instead of the true instigator, enraging him.
Heartbroken by Yi Fuling's words, Feng Tianyi drowns his sorrows in alcohol. Xue Feishuang tries to comfort him. In his despair, Feng Tianyi decides to propose marriage to Feng Ren for Xue Feishuang, viewing it as an act of self-abandonment. Xue Feishuang is saddened, realizing his proposal lacks genuine affection. During a banquet, a drunken Feng Tianyi proposes to Feng Ren, who, recognizing Feng Tianyi's self-destructive state, agrees to the marriage.

She retrieves a copper horse and a wooden doll, gifts Ji Shu once made for her, reminiscing about their shared past. In her loneliness, she practices a sword technique she learned with Ji Shu, unaware that Ji Shu himself is secretly watching her from a hidden spot.
