Undercover police officers swiftly moved in after Yan Jing and his men departed, quickly digging up the traffic police officer who had been buried and taking him away. Meanwhile, one of Yan Jing's subordinates, Shao Nan, reported via phone that the crime scene had been thoroughly cleaned, and all bullet casings collected. Later, Li Ruosheng invited Mu Qing for a drink to help him calm his nerves.

Li Ruosheng emphasized that Spectre was arriving in Yungang soon, and they needed to unite to deal with Yan Jing, declaring that he now considered Mu Qing and Ou Kexin his two strategists. Mr. Ou learned that Ou Kexin had been present when the police officer was killed. He lamented that she had now fully immersed herself in the group's business, even witnessing bloodshed. Yan Jing hastily apologized to Mr. Ou for failing to control the situation.

Upon learning that Li Ruosheng had coincidentally stumbled upon Yan Jing's operation, Mr. Ou chose not to punish Yan Jing, instead instructing him to work closely with Li Ruosheng and Mu Qing. However, Yan Jing expressed lingering suspicions about Mu Qing, despite Mu Qing having proven his loyalty, noting inconsistencies in his behavior at the scene and the ongoing mystery of the mole. Mr. Ou agreed with Yan Jing's concerns.

Rong Yao discussed with Director Liu that Mr. Ou would not rest until the mole was apprehended. After a thorough review, Rong Yao identified Zhou Kang, also known as Bull, one of Yan Jing’s subordinates, as the most suitable candidate to be exposed as the mole. This move, Rong Yao explained, would not only backfire on Yan Jing in front of Mr. Ou but also explain Yan Jing's previous targeting of Mu Qing.

Meanwhile, Yan Jing meticulously examined the bullet casings recovered from the scene, finding them peculiar, though he couldn't pinpoint why. It was then that Shao Nan informed him via phone that Zhou Kang had been arrested by the police. Yan Jing instructed Shao Nan to keep Zhou Kang’s arrest a secret from everyone and ordered that if Zhou Kang were ever released from police custody, he should be eliminated immediately.

Mr. Ou hosted a dinner, inviting Yan Jing, Li Ruosheng, and Mu Qing, hoping they would set aside their personal grievances and unite for the group's benefit. During dinner, Mu Qing cleverly suggested that the special wine served, though its brand was unknown, should be named "Harmony" because it brings wealth. Li Ruosheng then proposed that he and Mu Qing regain control of the dark web system.

Yan Jing objected, claiming Mu Qing's month-long disappearance meant he was likely unfamiliar with current operations and might not be able to handle the business. Mu Qing countered by pointing out that the dark web's transaction volume had fallen to less than two-thirds of its previous level under Yan Jing’s management, while other dark web operations in border regions were thriving.

After careful consideration, Mr. Ou decided to return control of the dark web to Li Ruosheng and Mu Qing, tasking them with increasing the trading volume. However, he stipulated that all accounting for dark web transactions would still go through Yan Jing, who would report directly to him. Yan Jing reluctantly agreed. After the meal, Mr. Ou kept Yan Jing behind, revealing that Spectre himself would not be coming to Yungang.

Instead, Spectre had sent his right-hand man, Zhou Changhao, who had already arrived days ago to investigate the K Group. Mr. Ou predicted Zhou Changhao would contact him within three days and urged Yan Jing to quickly boost sales to compensate for recent delays, as Spectre's primary concern was the group's performance. Yan Jing, facing immense pressure, urgently demanded that Mu Qing and Li Ruosheng rapidly increase sales, which immediately aroused Li Ruosheng's suspicion about Spectre's arrival.

Mu Qing, however, convinced Li Ruosheng to temporarily use his own funds to purchase goods, using this surge in activity to earn Mr. Ou’s approval through Yan Jing, promising to repay Li Ruosheng double the amount later. Seeing Mu Qing's resolute guarantee, Li Ruosheng agreed. Mu Qing and Ou Kexin then devised a plan: Mu Qing would continue to gather information from Yan Jing, while Ou Kexin would return to Mr. Ou’s home to probe for details.

Mu Qing reached out to Rong Yao for assistance in rapidly inflating the dark web's transaction volume. Watching the surging sales figures, Yan Jing was highly satisfied. Mu Qing then presented Yan Jing with a rare Da Hong Pao tea, which pleased Yan Jing, who thanked Mu Qing for his significant help. Seizing the opportunity, Mu Qing inquired if Spectre had arrived in Yungang. Yan Jing confirmed that only Spectre's subordinate had come.

Ou Kexin questioned Mr. Ou about Spectre, but he remained tight-lipped and refused to disclose any information. He warned Ou Kexin that if she continued to meddle in the group's affairs, he would send her out of the country. Meanwhile, Li Ruosheng complained bitterly about spending so much money only to be denied a meeting with Spectre's subordinate. Annoyed by Ou Kexin and Mu Qing's open display of affection in his presence, he impatiently told them to leave.

After discussing the situation, Mu Qing and Ou Kexin concluded that a more decisive action was needed than merely addressing surface issues. They decided to dismantle Yan Jing's new drug manufacturing facility, cutting off his supply to the large network of dark web clients and thereby eroding his trust with Mr. Ou. To achieve this, Rong Yao arranged for the previously rescued traffic police officer to identify Xu.

Following Xu's arrest, the police immediately launched Operation Thunderbolt, successfully raiding Yan Jing's new factory. Mu Qing then intentionally called Yan Jing, pressing him for a new shipment of goods. Overwhelmed by the factory bust and the demand, Yan Jing confessed his predicament to Mu Qing.

Mu Qing then proposed to Rong Yao that an undercover drug cook be planted in Yan Jing's new factory, serving the dual purpose of monitoring Yan Jing’s every move and collecting crucial criminal evidence against him. The captured drug cook provided Rong Yao with detailed instructions on methamphetamine production, including unique "little tricks" that distinguish professional cooks from amateurs.
