Ou Kexin was at her studio, busy preparing for Fashion Week next month. She mentioned needing male models with a good physique like Mu Qing to help her. Mu Qing then went upstairs to install security devices, including an alarm system connected to his phone, and advised her to add anti-theft bars to windows and cameras at the entrance. Ou Kexin felt delighted by his concern.

After Mu Qing finished, Li Ruosheng teased him, asking if he was trying to make Kexin feel safe so she would fall for him. Mu Qing, however, clarified that he simply wanted to ensure Ou Kexin's safety to reassure Mr. Ou, citing Mr. Ou's many enemies. Meanwhile, Dakun was in his car, deliberately speaking into a hidden wiretapped tracking device about a fake drug deal with Li Ruosheng and Mu Qing.

He announced the meeting point and time at the "Shajiao Building," hoping the police would fall for the bait. The police, monitoring the conversation, believed they had hit the jackpot and prepared for a large-scale drug transaction. The following day, Dakun met with Li Ruosheng for the supposed deal. He hugged Li Ruosheng and discreetly slipped the tracker into his pocket, then quickly made his exit. Shortly after, one of Li Ruosheng's subordinates discovered problems with the goods.

Before they could react, police sirens blared. Mu Qing urged everyone to scatter and run. As the police swarmed in, arresting many of Li Ruosheng's men, Mu Qing told Li Ruosheng to hide and offered to draw the police away himself. Rong Yao, who was among the pursuing officers, recognized Mu Qing and deliberately allowed him to escape. Soon after, Mu Qing encountered Ou Kexin, who unexpectedly appeared behind him.

She enlisted his help, taking him to a warehouse she had "extorted" from Dakun, where she stored her goods. Ou Kexin remarked on a heavily fortified wall within the warehouse, a section Dakun kept private, and expressed suspicion that he might be involved in illicit activities behind her father's back. She asked Mu Qing to keep an eye on Dakun for her.

Listening to her, Mu Qing realized that Ou Kexin, despite her unpredictable nature, possessed a surprising wit and could become a valuable asset in his mission to dismantle the Four Vajras. Mu Qing sent a text message to Director Liu, stating, "Old man, the fish is too cunning; today, close the net, release Sheng," implying a strategic adjustment to the operation targeting Li Ruosheng due to Dakun's deception.

Director Liu immediately called Rong Yao and instructed him to let Li Ruosheng go, though he emphasized he wasn't telling Rong Yao to go easy on him, as Dakun's people might be listening. Rong Yao, having realized Dakun had set them up, pivoted Task Force 84's focus to apprehending Dakun instead. He instructed his team to stop searching for Li Ruosheng and instead concentrate on finding Dakun.

Using Zhao Ran's drone surveillance, Rong Yao quickly pinpointed Mu Qing and Ou Kexin's location. He left his phone number on Mu Qing's car. Mu Qing then borrowed Ou Kexin's car, which she affectionately called "Xiaobai," to get away. As Li Ruosheng remained hidden, Mu Qing messaged Rong Yao to confirm if Li Ruosheng had been released.

Rong Yao replied, informing Mu Qing that Li Ruosheng was surrounded but that there was a zipline on the top floor of his hiding spot that could be used to escape to an adjacent unfinished building. Mu Qing promptly called Li Ruosheng, relaying the escape information, and then drove to pick him up. Both successfully eluded the police. While securing his seatbelt, Li Ruosheng discovered the wiretapped tracking device in his pocket.

He immediately deduced that Dakun must have planted it, as Dakun was the only person he had physically interacted with that day. Enraged, Li Ruosheng moved to discard the device, but Mu Qing stopped him. Mu Qing reasoned that since Dakun dared to betray them and was now working with outsiders, even the police, they should use this evidence as leverage.

He proposed to weaponize this information, turning Dakun into an "official mole" by revealing his treachery to Mr. Ou and the group. Back at the police station, Director Liu commended Rong Yao for his cooperation with Mu Qing (Yuan Wen). Rong Yao expressed concern for Mu Qing's safety, mentioning how close he had seen Mu Qing with a woman.

Director Liu revealed that the woman was Ou Kexin, Mr. Ou's only daughter, but asserted that she was not involved in her father's illicit businesses and that Mu Qing's initial encounter with her was how he gained access to Mr. Ou. Li Yimeng, however, recognized Ou Kexin as a survivor of a bombing three years prior that had disfigured her.

She voiced her skepticism, believing that Kexin should be thoroughly investigated, as she doubted anyone from such a criminal background could be truly innocent and questioned her timing in returning home. Later, Director Liu met with Mu Qing, advising him to set aside his past issues with Rong Yao and cooperate with him for the success of their mission. He also mentioned that Mu Qing should inform the police in advance if he planned to move against Dakun.

Mu Qing brought up Ou Kexin, stating that she had been constantly seeking his attention, which he feared might compromise his mission. Director Liu acknowledged Rong Yao's similar concerns and reminded Mu Qing that his objective was to get close to Mr. Ou, which would inevitably involve interacting with Ou Kexin. Mu Qing resigned himself to dealing with her as situations arose. Rong Yao visited Ou Kexin's new fashion store to gather information.

Ou Kexin initially seemed surprised to see him but quickly engaged in a friendly conversation, inviting him to visit again if he needed anything and offering a discount as a returning customer. Following their intelligence, the police swiftly raided Dakun's Haoran Auto Shop, seizing 70 kilograms of methamphetamine, over two million yuan in drug money, seven firearms, and arresting ten drug traffickers.

Director Liu held a press conference, solemnly declaring that while the seizure was significant, it was not a victory, highlighting the devastating impact such a large quantity of drugs would have had on countless families in Yungang.
