SA Yi explained that it was Zhen Zheng's idea to surprise her, remarking that he had finally shown some thoughtfulness.
Zhen Zheng had already prepared the wedding dress, and SA Yi helped He Mingzhu get ready and put on her makeup, telling her she would be the happiest bride in the world. Jiang Yuan revealed that Tiffi, a prestigious international fashion brand, was seeking a new window designer. If successful, Ding Xiaorou would become their Summer store window designer on Champs Elysees, with the possibility of a long-term contract in France. Ding Xiaorou was ecstatic but also conflicted, admitting to Jiang Yuan that the thought of leaving the city for an extended period made her anxious.

Zheng Ze commented that Ding Xiaorou had indeed waited for the right person. Chi Xin then resolved to help her securely achieve her career aspirations. Later that night, both Ding Xiaorou and Chi Xin lay awake, lost in thought. Ding Xiaorou recalled Chi Xin's confession about checking her Wi-Fi network name to understand her feelings, wondering what else he had wanted to say.
The next morning, Jiang Yuan called Ding Xiaorou to congratulate her on being selected for the Tiffi position. She explained it was a "one plus one" year contract, with a generous remuneration package and the potential for renewal. He meticulously prepared Michelin Samsung instant noodles with ham, chili, and even plums, explaining to Zheng Ze that the plums were for "appetizing" and "sweet and sour" flavor to "get rid of greasiness." Zheng Ze remarked on his meticulousness, and Chi Xin replied that Zheng Ze was "too rough." As Ding Xiaorou returned home, a security guard from the Property Security Department stopped her.
He explained they were reviewing surveillance footage and needed to confirm if a man seen near her door while she was sleeping was harassing her.
