Coach Huang Donglei and Fang Jingjing discussed Bai Yongze's serious condition, which includes exercise anxiety and high lactic acid levels, requiring further observation. Song Chacha, concerned, agreed to help and planned to accompany Bai Yongze to Australia for training. Before leaving for Beijing, Fang Jingjing guided Bai Yongze through yoga exercises, much to Song Chacha's amusement.
Song Chacha began preparing meals rich in tomatoes and lemons to help with Bai Yongze's lactic acid levels, leading to a playful argument when Bai Yongze complained about the food. Lan Tian and Bai Yongze's agent then arrived, and Lan Tian invited them to dinner, giving them movie tickets for his mother's death anniversary. During the movie, Lan Tian and Song Chacha displayed a deep familiarity with the film and each other's past, making Bai Yongze feel awkward.
Later, at dinner, Lan Tian, having drunk too much, directly asked Song Chacha if she liked Bai Yongze. Song Chacha firmly stated her admiration for Bai Yongze's unwavering commitment to his promises, a clear disappointment to Lan Tian, and reiterated her decision to go to Australia with Bai Yongze. Shortly after, Bai Yongze's father called to question his participation in the qualification trials.
As Song Chacha prepared to leave, Lan Tian suddenly fell and, while being helped up by Song Chacha, pleaded with her not to go to Australia. The next day, Song Chacha initially decided not to go to Australia due to Lan Tian's plea, much to Bai Yongze's disappointment at the airport. However, Jiang Shi called Song Chacha, falsely claiming Bai Yongze had fainted.
Song Chacha rushed to the airport only to discover it was a ruse orchestrated by Jiang Shi, who explained that Zhao Yan wanted Song Chacha's company for her Australian vacation. With no choice, Song Chacha reluctantly agreed to go. In Australia, during a training break at the ocean, Lan Tian suffered a leg cramp and began reliving a childhood drowning experience involving Zhihao.
Bai Yongze immediately went to rescue him, but Lan Tian forcefully resisted, even attempting to pull Bai Yongze down. Bai Yongze eventually saved him, but Lan Tian was deeply traumatized, feeling like a monster for his underwater actions. He ran to the toilet to vomit, haunted by visions of Zhihao and his mother's death, isolating himself in his room. Coach Huang Donglei gave Lan Tian a day off.
Song Chacha, learning of the incident, volunteered to care for Lan Tian, bringing him porridge/congee and comforting him as he shared his painful memories. She also provided Bai Yongze with lemon water. Later, Bai Yongze, feeling uplifted and changed by Song Chacha, searched for her, carrying an empty lemon cup and a flower. He found her embracing Lan Tian in Lan Tian's room. Enraged, Bai Yongze stormed out, throwing away his thermos bottle.
Song Chacha chased after him, picking up the discarded bottle, feeling a pang of sadness as Bai Yongze went off to drink heavily with the group. Meanwhile, Chairman Lan called Lan Xin, suspecting Lan Tian had intentionally arranged for Song Chacha to be near Bai Yongze. Lan Xin falsely claimed that Song Chacha and Bai Yongze were together, then realized this wasn't her intended outcome and promptly called Coach Huang Donglei for more information.
