> Double Love Recap

Building on events from the previous episode, in the game "Moonlight Blade," Chu Qianlan expressed admiration for Mo Bai and eagerly sought to add him as a friend. However, Mo Bai immediately rejected her request, leaving Chu Qianlan disappointed, despite her envy of his bond with Chu He. Later, Mo Bai privately confronted Chu He about her true intentions regarding their in-game divorce, but Chu He, unsure how to respond, promptly vanished.

The next morning, Lu Wanwan's brother woke her up, reminding her that Lin Wei had been trying to reach her all morning about new scripts. Lu Wanwan then met Han Jingmo and, relieved that he wasn't upset with her anymore, affectionately called him "the one who loves me the most."

Han Jingmo told her that he would let her decide when to make their relationship public, giving her the right to reveal it, and clarified that his previous joke about her concealing her identity as his assistant was just that, a joke, now that she was at the company. Lu Wanwan then met with her agent, Lin Wei, who offered her three potential roles: a modern trendy drama, a historical immortal drama, and a movie titled "Tit-for-tat."

Lin Wei highly recommended "Tit-for-tat," highlighting its strong script, impressive cast, and potential for awards, despite the challenge of portraying a blind character named Su Ran, a criminal organization boss who disguises herself to approach the male lead. The role also included a kissing scene, which made Lu Wanwan hesitant. Lin Wei also praised Gu Qiaobei's professional acting skills, implying that if anyone doubted his capabilities, an audition would prove his worth.

Still unsure about the kissing scene, Lu Wanwan sought advice from Lu Guanghan, Yi Wei, Gu Qiaobei, and Song Chi. Everyone advised her to take the role but cautioned her not to tell Han Jingmo. Lu Guanghan, however, was preoccupied with a call and dismissively told her to follow her heart, as he was busy discussing a potential audition with someone named Mr. Du, assuring him that he would be satisfied with the person's performance.

Lu Wanwan later confided in Song Chi, who advised her to take the role but warned her not to tell Han Jingmo, describing him as a Scorpio who holds grudges. Later that evening, Lu Guanghan returned home to a dark house, mistaking Lu Wanwan for a thief. He accidentally hit her with a stick, only to discover she was practicing for her blind role in "Tit-for-tat" using a blind stick.

Lu Wanwan, annoyed that he interrupted her practice, explained she was trying to get a feel for the character. Amused, Lu Guanghan, calling himself her "sponsor," praised her dedication and left her to continue practicing. The next day, Lu Wanwan was seen on the street, using the blind stick and pretending to be blind. A kind passerby mistook her for genuinely blind, helped her cross the street, and even put money in her hat.

Later, at home, Lu Guanghan playfully put chili oil in her soup during dinner, causing Lu Wanwan to chase him in mock anger. When Lu Wanwan went for the "Tit-for-tat" audition, she was initially very nervous, admitting that her previous acting experience on "Big Dunk" was rough and she feared the stricter director and complex role. During her performance, she struggled, leading Director Gu to stop the scene.

Han Jingmo then offered to help, explaining that it was difficult for one person to act out scenes involving two characters. With Han Jingmo's guidance, Lu Wanwan delivered a stellar performance, showcasing detailed observations from Al Pacino's portrayal in "Scent of a Woman" and lessons learned from a school for the blind. Director Gu was impressed by her nuanced acting and attention to detail.

After she successfully passed the audition, she was thrilled to learn that Han Jingmo was cast as the male lead, especially given the upcoming kissing scene. Meanwhile, Gu Qiaobei failed to show up for his audition. He had inadvertently overheard a conversation where the company boss, Mr. Mu, and others mocked Lu Guanghan, calling him a fool for repeatedly giving valuable resources to "an outsider" like Gu Qiaobei. They remarked that these resources ultimately strengthened "their" own company's capabilities.

Enraged by the perceived charity, Gu Qiaobei burst into Lu Guanghan's office, confronting him for interfering in his affairs. He vehemently refused to participate in "Tit-for-tat" or even audition, stating he didn't need opportunities secretly "bestowed" upon him, and demanded Lu Guanghan stay away from him. Later, visibly upset, Gu Qiaobei sought solace in the game "Moonlight Blade" and confided in "Top Star of Lu," Lu Guanghan's in-game avatar.

He expressed his frustration about someone being too kind to him, making him feel like a burden, and confessed his own confusion about his goals. In return, Lu Guanghan, through his avatar, lamented how his desire to give his best to others was often misunderstood as malice. On set, Lu Wanwan was visibly captivated while watching Han Jingmo act. When Song Chi asked what she was staring at, Lu Wanwan openly declared Han Jingmo as her "boyfriend."

She excitedly recounted how she had initiated the confession, never expecting him to agree, and joked that he simply couldn't resist her charm. Song Chi was utterly shocked by the revelation, commenting on Lu Wanwan's "sinister and cunning" nature and her seemingly self-deprecating yet successful romantic pursuit. Lu Wanwan tried to downplay the situation, emphasizing the need for discretion.

Later, while Lu Wanwan and Han Jingmo were having a meal, Yan Shengkai approached Han Jingmo, asking for his help in choosing a birthday gift for a male friend. Han Jingmo promptly rejected her, stating he was busy. Lu Wanwan, out of politeness, offered Yan Shengkai some of her fruit, but Han Jingmo immediately intervened, blocking Lu Wanwan's hand and explicitly stating that the fruit was meant only for Lu Wanwan. Yan Shengkai, visibly annoyed, excused herself and left.

Han Jingmo then playfully chided Lu Wanwan for not being discreet enough, referencing her earlier conversation with Song Chi. During filming, Lu Wanwan accidentally stepped on a bead and fell, injuring herself. Yan Shengkai identified the bead as belonging to Xia Linxi, noting its expensive value.

Although Xia Linxi's assistant denied responsibility, Yan Shengkai suspected that the bead was meant to cause trouble for her, as she was scheduled to film the next scene and had a previous conflict with Xia Linxi. Xia Linxi herself denied involvement with a dismissive attitude, telling others to "believe it or not." Han Jingmo, however, appeared to suspect Xia Linxi, prompting her to challenge his implication. Lu Guanghan, upon hearing about Lu Wanwan's injury and hospitalization, rushed to the scene.

Despite efforts to maintain a low profile by not calling an ambulance, reporters had already swarmed the hospital parking lot. Lu Wanwan was safely escorted away, and the company stated they would issue a formal statement. Lu Guanghan, visibly upset, confronted Lu Wanwan for trying to hide her injury from him, reminding her of a past incident involving food poisoning and scolding her for repeatedly trying to conceal things.

Lu Wanwan explained her fear of worrying him and suspected that Xia Linxi's agent, Ning Xiao, might have leaked their location to the press. Lin Wei then called Lu Guanghan, apologizing for the incident and suggesting a misunderstanding, characterizing Xia Linxi as "a bit arrogant" but not malicious. Lu Guanghan arranged to meet Lin Wei and Ning Xiao at the set in thirty minutes.

Han Jingmo advised Lu Guanghan that a small artist's injury attracting personal attention from a major boss would lead to public speculation about their relationship and potential sensationalism unless they publicly revealed their sibling ties. Lu Wanwan vehemently rejected this idea, stating she had a goal not to be associated with him in that way. Lu Guanghan then questioned Han Jingmo, asking how he knew about his and Lu Wanwan's sibling relationship.
