> Love Under the Full Moon Recap

After an awkward trip to Tongcheng University with Wei Xuanhe, Lei Chuxia and Xu Xiaodong ride back to the Summer Time dessert shop on a single bicycle. During their search for memories in the library, Chuxia felt no connection to her supposed ex-boyfriend. She formally thanks Wei Xuanhe for his time, pointedly calling him "Director Wei" and ignoring his request to use his first name, Xuanhe.

The playful bike ride home, with Chuxia tickling a protesting Xiaodong, is a stark contrast to the stilted time she spent with Xuanhe. Back at the shop, Chuxia confides in Yuan Yuan that she felt completely detached from Xuanhe and sensed that he was both disappointed and relieved by her amnesia. Yuan Yuan is not surprised, sharing her own harsh assessment of Xuanhe.

She tells Chuxia that his deep affection is just for show; in the ten years Chuxia was gone, he never once helped her parents or the struggling shop. Yuan Yuan concludes that he is a selfish man who only loves himself—an accurate assessment, as he is the very person who caused her to fall from a cliff ten years prior.

To shift the focus, Yuan Yuan reminisces about the shop's former popularity, which was built on Chuxia's signature dessert, "Summer's Kiss." She recalls a crucial detail: on the day Chuxia vanished, she had prepared a "Summer's Kiss" for a very important customer who never arrived to claim it, leading Chuxia to suspect her disappearance might be linked to this mysterious client.

Inspired, they decide to reopen Summer Time to find more clues but are immediately faced with a lack of funds. Just as they despair, Jin Xiaorui makes a grand, clumsy entrance, instantly falling for Yuan Yuan. He announces that his client, the famous gamer Winter, wishes to invest a large sum in the shop with no conditions attached, simply to offer Chuxia encouragement.

Chuxia is hesitant to accept such a large gift from a stranger, but after messaging Winter to refuse, she receives a heartfelt reply about passing on courage he once received from someone else. Moved by his words and persuaded by her friends, she accepts the investment, vowing to create the best desserts to repay his kindness. With Chuxia's mobility no longer tied to Xiaodong, they visit Professor Chen Mo to pick up a device he created to control her energy.

The device, disguised as a bracelet, successfully contains her energy field. Chen Mo's attempts to test it by provoking an emotional reaction from Chuxia fail, until Xu Xiaodong leans in close to help adjust the bracelet. His proximity makes her heart race, causing her energy to spike, which the bracelet perfectly controls. Unbeknownst to them, Chen Mo's assistant, Wang Yixin, has tampered with the device, allowing him to secretly siphon her energy.

Thrilled with the apparent success, Chuxia believes she can finally reunite with her parents. However, Chen Mo delivers a sobering warning: the bracelet is only a temporary solution, and she could still disappear. Fearing that her parents couldn't endure the pain of losing her a second time, a disheartened Chuxia decides she must wait before seeing them. Eager to test her new freedom, Chuxia and Xiaodong decide to try separating.

Xiaodong gives her a phone pre-loaded with his contact information and a tracking system. Their goodbye is awkward, and as they walk in opposite directions, both feel a surprising pang of loneliness and reluctance, though each misinterprets the other's feelings as relief. Before she gets far, Wei Xuanhe pulls up and offers to take her to another place to help her remember. As Xu Xiaodong watches with concern, she agrees and gets into his car.

Wei Xuanhe drives her to a seaside pier, a place they used to frequent. He shows her a video he took on their fourth anniversary, filled with tender moments and a declaration of eternal love from her past self. He speaks of how he cherished the video during her ten-year absence, hoping to spark a memory or feeling. However, Chuxia feels nothing.

She apologizes, explaining that she remembers none of it and even doubts that the girl in the video is truly her. Xuanhe presses on, asking for a chance to start over and leans in for a kiss, but she turns away, her rejection solidified as she recalls Yuan Yuan's earlier warning about his selfishness. That evening, Yuan Yuan hosts a welcome-home party for Chuxia at the shop.

Jin Xiaorui, helping to set up, bombards Yuan Yuan with cheesy pickup lines, which she expertly deflects. Xu Xiaodong arrives with him, his mood souring when he sees Wei Xuanhe drop Chuxia off. Later, Yuan Yuan advises Chuxia to stop trying to force her memories and to keep her distance from the changed Wei Xuanhe, suggesting she should start fresh. The next morning, the shop buzzes with activity for its reopening.

Jin Xiaorui appears early, dressed to impress and holding flowers for Yuan Yuan, who promptly puts him to work carrying heavy sacks of flour. He continues his flirtatious advances, but she bluntly tells him she isn't interested in dating a younger man. Meanwhile, Chuxia wakes Xu Xiaodong at dawn, having already bought them breakfast. They share a meal, playfully bickering about her newfound independence, though an undercurrent of their growing attachment remains.
