Chu Xuanji still recalled the scene of Yu Sifeng revealing his demon form and fighting alongside the people of Lize Palace against the immortal sects. Hearing about Wu Tong and the demons from Tianxu Hall trapping Chu Linglong further fueled Chu Xuanji's hatred for the demon race, triggering the God of War's memory.

Chu Xuanji summoned the God of War armor, using the God of War's power to break Chu Linglong's restraints and aiming to make Wu Tong suffer eternal damnation. However, Wu Tong had already learned Chu Xuanji's identity and prepared Candel Dragon scales in advance as a shield to resist the God of War's power. Chu Xuanji's hatred for demons was too deep; she was determined to leave none of the demons present with a burial place.

Chu Xuanji unleashed the Nine Heavens Profound Fire, incinerating the demons. Wu Tong, seeing he could not resist the God of War's power, hastily retreated. But the God of War's power was uncontrollable and also harmed the immortal sect disciples present. Hao Chen, disregarding the danger, stepped forward to stop her. Although his hand was burned, luckily Chu Xuanji's God of War power receded, resolving the crisis, and Chu Xuanji fainted.

In her coma, Chu Xuanji dreamt of Yu Sifeng treating her coldly and heartlessly. Hao Chen stayed by her side and, when she woke up, took the opportunity to sow discord, claiming Yu Sifeng had never truly loved her, approaching her only to explore the Shaoyang secret realm. Upon learning Chu Xuanji was the God of War, he further deceived her, just waiting for her power to be used by the demon race.

Hao Chen's words pierced Chu Xuanji's heart one by one. Hao Chen then pretended to be kind, promising to stay with Chu Xuanji through this tribulation and guide her toward the path of immortality. Chu Xuanji didn't fully absorb Hao Chen's words; Yu Sifeng's place in her heart was still important. After Hao Chen left, Chu Linglong and Xiao Liuzi came to visit Chu Xuanji. Chu Linglong even spoke ill of Yu Sifeng's sincerity in front of Chu Xuanji.

Despite how many times Yu Sifeng was severely injured protecting the immortal sects, his sacrifices, in Chu Linglong's eyes, were merely demonic hypocrisy. Although Xiao Liuzi still believed in Yu Sifeng's sincerity towards Chu Xuanji, Chu Linglong was convinced that Tianxu Hall and Lize Palace were originally working together, and Yu Sifeng must be in cahoots with Tianxu Hall. However, Chu Xuanji could not believe it until she uncovered the truth and heard a straightforward answer from Yu Sifeng.

Chu Linglong adamantly forbade Chu Xuanji from seeking Yu Sifeng to clarify things. Chu Linglong was the ungrateful one, having completely forgotten Yu Sifeng's genuine sincerity. The elders of Dianjing Vally invited Chu Xuanji, as the God of War, and Teng She to move to the main hall for a significant discussion. Chu Xuanji was initially unaccustomed to this address but had no choice but to go after repeated requests.

Meanwhile, Chu Linglong and Xiao Liuzi were refused entry to the main hall because they had been expelled from Shaoyang. Seeing this, Chu Linglong advised Chu Xuanji to leave. Dianjing Vally disciples then publicly shamed Chu Linglong about her past with Wu Tong. Chu Linglong, already troubled by her flower demon memories, was deeply hurt by this humiliation and left upset. Xiao Liuzi quickly chased after Chu Linglong.

The Master of Dianjing Vally and Dongfang Qingqi completely changed their previous attitude, showing immense respect to Chu Xuanji, even kneeling to ask her to lead the righteous sects to exterminate demons and save the mortal realm. Chu Xuanji found it hard to accept such a heavy responsibility and politely declined. Chu Lei then used his status as her father and his injured body to awaken Chu Xuanji's sense of responsibility.

Chu Lei was severely injured by the Master of Lize Palace, with a bird that specifically fed on human internal organs residing in his body, causing him extreme pain. Fortunately, Teng She was able to remove the bird, leaving Chu Lei unharmed. Chu Lei repeatedly explained the severity of the current situation to Chu Xuanji, stating that the mortal realm was on the brink of collapse and only Chu Xuanji's God of War power could bear the responsibility.

Seeing her father's plea and the earnest hopes of the immortal sect disciples, Chu Xuanji had no choice but to agree. An alliance was formed to kill all of Tianxu Hall and exterminate Lize Palace. The command to exterminate Lize Palace made Chu Xuanji hesitate. Hao Chen, seeing Chu Xuanji's hesitation, proactively stated that Tianxu Hall and Lize Palace were in collusion, and their sole purpose was to resurrect the Star of Mosha and overthrow the three realms.

Now was not the time to focus solely on revenge; they should instead protect the secret realm and gather forces in Shaoyang in preparation for a great battle. Sect Master Rong, however, was fixated on Yu Sifeng, insisting that Chu Xuanji promise to kill him. Seeing Chu Xuanji's reluctance to respond, Hao Chen promised on her behalf that he would grind Yu Sifeng to dust to appease the immortal sects.

The Master of Lize Palace treated Yu Sifeng's injuries, giving him the only antidote for the Lover's Curse. The antidote's effect was to make one forget emotions, but Yu Sifeng refused to take it, unwilling to forget. Regardless of whose side Chu Xuanji was on, Yu Sifeng believed it was his own fault for concealing the truth first.

The millennium of peace in Lize Palace and the death of Chu Xuanji's mother were lodged in his throat, causing him to choke up. The Master, trapped by his emotions, could not untie the knot in his heart and refused to admit his mistakes. The Master took Yu Sifeng to see the frozen Haofeng and recounted his past with his beloved. They fell in love upon their first meeting, and love blossomed during their second encounter when she saved him.

Later, Haofeng became pregnant. When she was giving birth to Yu Sifeng, the old Master of Lize Palace found out and almost killed Yu Sifeng. Fortunately, Yu Sifeng possessed the twelve-winged bloodline, so his life was spared, and he was brought back to Lize Palace. However, Haofeng still loved the Master but could not stay by Yu Sifeng's side. Yet, the so-called immortal sects pressured Haofeng to reveal the Master's identity.

To protect her child and lover, Haofeng was forced to her death. Due to the old Master, the Master of Lize Palace could not acknowledge Yu Sifeng. All this time, the Master's wish had been to hear Yu Sifeng call him "Dad." Yu Sifeng then learned about the deep and moving story of his parents' love. Moreover, the Master had always shown immense love and care for Yu Sifeng.

How could Yu Sifeng not bring himself to call the Master "Dad"? Haofeng ate the millennium stone marrow and heard Yu Sifeng call him "Dad," bringing the Master a sense of fulfillment. Yuan Lang returned to Lize Palace, staged a rebellion, and forced the Master to abdicate. The Master, having no desire for the position of Lize Palace Master, intended to step down and gathered the Lize Palace disciples. The Master, Deputy Master, and elders argued.

The Master stopped everyone and announced that he would pass the position of Master to Yu Sifeng, who, as the heir of the twelve-winged bloodline, was the rightful successor. But Yuan Lang refused to give up, using the Master's feelings for Haofeng to severely injure him. Haofeng had never truly loved the Master, or perhaps her feelings for the Master stopped at the point when she learned he was a demon.
