Ling Shi was obsessed with the method for making Kunyin Dan because once ingested, if one did not continue taking it, they would die violently. The Master of the Xuanyuan Sect learned of Ling Shi's actions and believed that surrendering to demons or seeking help from the other four sects would bring no honor to Xuanyuan. The Master had no choice but to sound the signal horn, calling for everyone in Xuanyuan to face the enemy together.

Chu Linglong was still angry with Zhong Minyan. When she walked out of the inn, she unexpectedly met a child. This child lured Chu Linglong into the depths of the forest, making it impossible for her to return. Fortunately, Zhong Minyan followed and promptly severed the demon spirit's connection with Chu Linglong. However, once they entered the demonic area, it was difficult to escape. Chu Linglong was already enchanted and had lost the ability to resist.

The Tuzhen Wan began to take effect in Yu Sifeng's body. Its effect was to answer every question with the truth. Yu Sifeng answered whatever Chu Xuanji asked seriously. The Lover's Curse would take root in his body, and three Qingyu imprints would grow on his wrist. From then on, every time he was hurt by love, the Qingyu imprints on his wrist would turn into Chiyu on his chest.

When all three imprints turned into Chiyu, his blood would flow backward and he would die. Yu Sifeng forcefully suppressed his emotions with his qi to return to normal. But Chu Xuanji, knowing Yu Sifeng's true feelings, was no longer troubled. Chu Linglong suddenly appeared before Chu Xuanji and Yu Sifeng. Chu Linglong wore a bamboo hat to avoid the Miyu so as not to be tempted. However, along the way, she saw many villagers hanging from trees.

Yu Sifeng deduced from Chu Linglong's words that this was the life-taking Jialuo vine. This object could release a type of Miyu, enchanting those in the rain to fall into hallucinations, binding them and sucking their blood, and finally producing Xue Jialuo fruit. This fruit could greatly increase a cultivator's power.

Yu Sifeng saw that this place was specially used by someone to produce Xue Jialuo fruit, which meant that Zhong Minyan and the others who were taken were in extreme danger. Zhong Minyan and Ruo Yu were each enchanted by the demon spirit, which awakened their desire to commit suicide. Both of their lives were hanging by a thread. Chu Xuanji, Yu Sifeng, and Chu Linglong searched everywhere in the forest.

However, the blood vines were entangled with the Migu trees, making it impossible to tell directions. Chu Xuanji originally suggested using her blood to lure the blood vines out, but doing so was extremely dangerous. Based on his accumulated knowledge, Yu Sifeng used music to make the Migu trees bloom, followed the rain butterflies to find the main trunk of the Migu tree, and thus found Ruo Yu, Zhong Minyan, and Xiao Yinhua.

Although they successfully rescued them, how could the demon spirit be willing to give up when its goal was not achieved? It drove the vines to attack everyone. These blood vines came fiercely and heavily entangled Yu Sifeng. Fortunately, Chu Xuanji reacted promptly and saved Yu Sifeng. As soon as Yu Sifeng was freed from the entangled blood vines, he saw that the person holding him was Chu Xuanji.

The Lover's Curse mask flashed, indicating that Yu Sifeng had been struck by the Lover's Curse, manifested as the Qingyu imprint on his arm. Just as everyone recovered from the smoke, Yu Sifeng sustained minor injuries while protecting Chu Xuanji, but Zhong Minyan was seriously injured while protecting Chu Linglong and was temporarily unconscious. Chu Linglong was extremely worried about Zhong Minyan.

Zhong Minyan woke up and eagerly expressed his feelings, but Chu Linglong could not believe or accept them for a moment. Zhong Minyan then wanted to take the opportunity to clarify things with Chu Xuanji, but Yu Sifeng, considering Chu Xuanji's feelings, forcefully interrupted him.
