Zhao Qiaoyi called Yan Mo to apologize for not answering his call today, and personally went downstairs to wait for him. Zhao Qiaoyi lied that she had bought an extra ticket and asked him to go to the concert with her. Zhao Guanchao recalled Zhao Qiaoyi's abnormal behavior at the hospital and felt she was hiding something from him, guessing that Zhao Qiaoyi might be pregnant. Zhao Guanchao sent a message to arrange a meeting with Yan Mo.
As soon as Zhao Guanchao saw Yan Mo, tensions flared, and the two got into a fight. Finally, Zhao Guanchao told Yan Mo his guess, and the two went together to find Zhao Qiaoyi to ask about the child. Zhao Qiaoyi immediately panicked, unsure how to speak, and quickly made an excuse to go back to the room, sending a message to Yan Mo telling him the truth.
After Zhao Qiaoyi came out, Yan Mo tacitly cooperated with Zhao Qiaoyi to conceal the matter. Hao Wuyi told Zhao Qiaoyi she wanted to go to the United States to give birth to the child alone. Zhao Qiaoyi, however, advised Hao Wuyi to tell Zhao Guanchao about it. Hao Wuyi tearfully told Zhao Qiaoyi that she had already fallen in love with Zhao Guanchao but didn't know how to confess.
At home, Hao Wuyi mustered the courage to write a letter to tell Zhao Guanchao about this matter, repeatedly writing and tearing it up, still struggling. Zhao Guanchao went to find Hao Wuyi, but she still refused to open the door. Zhao Guanchao then tried the door lock password himself, and unexpectedly, he guessed correctly – it was his sister's birthday numbers.
Yan Mo and Zhao Qiaoyi happened to run into Wang Wei, the colleague who previously sold Yan Mo tickets, at the entrance of Jay Chou's concert. Cheng Youmei, however, was extremely dissatisfied with the proposal and sarcastically ridiculed Zhao Qiaoyi, embarrassing her. Hao Wuyi called Zhao Qiaoyi to complain that her mother suddenly asked her to return to Nanchuan. Hao Wuyi worried that her pregnancy would be revealed. When Hao Wuyi saw her mother, she was trembling with fear, but Hao Wuyi's mother told her she was going to immigrate and would sell the house in China.
Hao Wuyi was very angry at her mother's autocratic behavior, not even discussing such an important matter with her.
