Synopsis

In the primordial days of the world, spiritual energy nourished all living beings. Humans began cultivating immortality, while beasts took on human forms. The Penglai clan, however, due to their unique constitution, could only increase their power by seizing the cultivation of others, leading to their sealing by the Immortal Sect.

A homeless beggar girl named A'Dai, displaced by the chaos caused by the Penglai clan, joined the Xianling Sect and became the disciple of the carefree immortal, Xiao Yihan. While Xiao Yihan showed little interest in teaching, A'Dai was diligent and responsible. During her time cultivating in the mountains, A'Dai excelled—winning top honors in the preliminary trials and taming an ancient divine hammer. Her fame quickly spread.

As master and disciple gradually resolved their misunderstandings, their relationship became increasingly harmonious. Just as everything seemed to be going well, Xiao Yihan betrayed the sect in an attempt to break the seal and rescue his brother, who was imprisoned in Penglai. Disgusted by the Penglai clan, A'Dai severed ties with him and began a long pursuit.

By a twist of fate, the two eventually found themselves within the boundaries of Penglai. After enduring countless hardships and receiving aid from the Penglai people, they began to shed their prejudices. Determined to help the Penglai clan change their constitution, they rallied the human and demon clans to join forces and set up a grand formation. Together, they successfully helped the Penglai clan purify their bodies, dissolving a thousand-year-old grudge between the three races and two realms.
