Zhou Yu'an, born into poverty and burdened with repaying her father's debts, crosses paths with Jiang Jiaqi, who is grappling with both family troubles and career setbacks. The two, who otherwise would have had no connection, are brought together by corporate intrigue within their company.
The CEO, Gu Chen, loses a crucial new drug application opportunity due to Jiaqi's outspoken integrity. In retaliation, Gu Chen hires Yu'an with the aim of forcing Jiaqi out of the company.
