Grief-stricken by Ying Kong Shi's sacrifice, Ka Suo stood on the Falling Cherry Slope. He gently manipulated a Six-Leaf Ice Crystal in his hands as Shi's spectral image appeared before him, happily noting Ka Suo's regained spiritual powers. Ka Suo, his voice laced with sorrow, acknowledged that these powers and the Ice Crystal were Shi's gifts, admitting how deeply he missed his brother. When Granny arrived, she expressed relief at his recovered and enhanced spiritual power.

Ka Suo confided in her, asking if any magic in the world could reverse time, wishing to return to happier days with Li Luo and Shi. Granny sighed inwardly, knowing she should have helped him achieve this but couldn't, as maintaining the present situation was the only way to ensure his safety and the well-being of the City of Bladed Snow and the Three Realms.

In the royal hall of the City of Bladed Snow, the Mermaid Saint praised Ka Suo for creating the Six-Leaf Ice Crystal in just a month, a feat that took the ancient god She Mi a hundred days. She wondered if he was now more powerful than his ancestor. However, Granny sighed, lamenting that Ka Suo remained unhappy, believing the spiritual power within him didn't truly belong to him.

She explained that he had exerted himself creating the Ice Crystal, hoping to exhaust the borrowed power. The Mermaid Saint noted that even if he managed to diminish his powers, Ka Suo's guilt towards Shi would linger. Granny then expressed a heartfelt wish to turn back time, desperate to see Ka Suo happy again. The Ice King then formally announced his abdication, passing the throne to Ka Suo, with the coronation ceremony scheduled for the following day.

As the court celebrated, both the Mermaid Saint and Granny gazed with concern at the isolated and sorrowful Ka Suo. Meanwhile, in Fire City, Yan Da reported to Fire King that Ying Kong Shi was a descendant of the Ice-Flame Tribe. Fire King, realizing this explained Shi's mastery of both ice and fire magic, concluded that Shi's bloodline was indeed from the Ice-Flame Tribe.

He then declared that the Three Realms, and "that other world," were on the brink of chaos, necessitating immediate and careful planning. The next day, Ka Suo, adorned in royal robes, holding the scepter, and wearing the crown, ascended the throne of the Ice King. He vowed to the assembled court, "I, descendant of the Ice Tribe, Ka Suo, am willing to use my entire life to safeguard the Three Realms.

I hope that the citizens of the three realms will enjoy peace and prosperity." Elsewhere, Xing Jiu was disturbed by a familiar prophecy echoing in his mind: "The red lotuses will soon bloom. Binary stars will eventually meet. The wheel of destiny has begun spinning. Please wait patiently." At the gates of the City of Bladed Snow, Yue Shen questioned Huang Tuo about the numerous items he was loading onto carts.

Huang Tuo explained that these unique herbs and plants were exclusively found in the Divine Realm, and since the Ice Tribe was now at peace and they were departing without a known return date, it was prudent to take plenty with them. Pian Feng, following the new King's orders, led the realm guardians to rebuild the Sprite Lands. Liao Jian, seeing Pian Feng off, reflected on his initial arrival in the city, intending to die fighting the Fire Tribe.

He noted how few remained of those who had fought alongside them. Chao Ya softly expressed how much she missed Li Luo and Lan Shang, and Yue Shen added Ying Kong Shi's name to the list. Xing Jiu shared his feeling that they might meet again, a sentiment echoed by Liao Jian, the King of the Bear Tribe, who asserted they "must" meet again and pledged to host them with wine and meat in his tribe.

On the Falling Cherry Slope, Ka Suo gazed with complicated emotions at the God Devouring Sword. With a heavy heart, he sealed it once more, declaring he never wanted to see it again. By the vast Endless Sea, Ka Suo stood holding a wine goblet, muttering to himself, "Li Luo, Shi, I am king now."

He mused on the burden of kingship, recalling how his own father, for tens of thousands of years, had been known only as "King," losing his personal name. Ka Suo realized that soon, no one would call him "Ka Suo" either. He deeply missed Li Luo and Shi, wishing they would return to his side. Granny approached him, recognizing his longing, and offered to share a drink with him.

Deep within a stone cave, Lian Ji sat, her exquisite beauty marred by profound sorrow. A black fog swirled around her, attempting to console her despair. Overwhelmed, she pulled a hairpin from her hair and tried to stab herself in the neck. The black fog intervened, preventing her suicide. " Why are you stopping me? Let go! Why won't you let me die?" she cried. The black fog responded, "Every living being in this world can die. Only you can't."

She then walked out to find herself on Cherry Island, a secret location of the Mermaid Tribe. Yuan Ji, through the black fog, told her, "This is the place where you and I spent the night together." Lian Ji immediately refuted, "Nonsense. The person who spent the night with me was Huo Yi." Yuan Ji insisted she had, reminding her he had first seen her as a young mermaid, learning to grow legs and later becoming a graceful dancer.

He confessed he had watched her from beneath the lake for ten years, as he was once Yuan Ji of the Ice-Flame Tribe, the only true god, sealed for tens of thousands of years by She Mi and other tribes. They had destroyed his vital energy, trapped him under the island, and blocked his path to Divine Snow Mountain, leaving him only his eyes to observe the outside world. He said her appearance gave him a reason to live again.

Lian Ji questioned how he escaped. Yuan Ji explained that he had watched her happily dance until the day she learned of her impending marriage to the Ice King and cried, never dancing joyfully again. He had then burned his remaining energy, risking his life, to break free as a snow fox to comfort her. Lian Ji had indeed rescued and cared for the snow fox, nursing him back to health.

Those were his happiest days, Yuan Ji said, until Fire King appeared. He realized Lian Ji didn't want to marry the Ice King because she was in love with Fire King. However, when Lian Ji confessed to Fire King that she wasn't a direct descendant of the Mermaid Tribe, he grew angry and abandoned her. Yuan Ji, heartbroken, had used the last of his vital energy to shapeshift into Fire King that night, simply to be with her.

Seeing Lian Ji devastated by his story, Yuan Ji finally confessed, "Do you still not understand that in this world, the only person who truly loves you is me?" Lian Ji remembered her joyful childhood on Cherry Island with the snow fox and asked why he had disappeared after that night if he truly loved her. Yuan Ji explained that the shapeshifting spell had depleted all his energy, requiring centuries to recover.

Fearing she would be lonely, he chose to merge with her under the cherry tree, hoping their new life would protect and bring her happiness. Lian Ji, stunned, asked, "That means, Ying Kong Shi is my child with you?" Yuan Ji confirmed, adding that Shi had planned to give his spiritual powers to Ka Suo, making him too foolish. Still despondent, Lian Ji felt no purpose in living after Shi's death.

Yuan Ji comforted her, insisting that she must live to avenge Shi with him. When Lian Ji hesitantly asked if she could trust him, Yuan Ji passionately reassured her, saying she gave him the courage to live and now he would reclaim everything that belonged to him, loving her and all that she loved. A chilling beauty appeared on Lian Ji's face as she asked if he would help her kill the main culprit, Ka Suo.

Yuan Ji promised to fulfill all her wishes. In the depths of the Endless Sea, Fire King suddenly appeared before the Mermaid Saint, who angrily demanded to know his purpose. Fire King, holding a Teardrop Charm (that Shuo Gang had possessed, which contained Lan Shang's essence), easily incapacitated the Mermaid Saint and abducted the unconscious Lan Shang. He dismissed the Mermaid Saint's challenge to a battle, demanding instead to know the location of the Divine Snow Mountain's entrance.

When the Mermaid Saint denied any knowledge, Fire King revealed that Lian Ji had told him the Mermaid Tribe held this secret due to their alliance with the Ice Tribe. He stated that with the emergence of the Ice-Flame Tribe, he could no longer afford to patiently obtain the secret through a marriage alliance. Enraged by the Mermaid Saint's continued denial, Fire King threatened to kill Lan Shang. Just then, Ka Suo arrived, saving Lan Shang.

He confronted Fire King, asking if he would leave willingly or be forced out. Fire King, unfazed, sarcastically inquired if Ka Suo's powers had fully recovered.

He mockingly called the City of Bladed Snow an illusory city and Ka Suo an illusory person within it, prophesying that Ka Suo would one day watch helplessly as the Three Realms and everyone he loved vanished, just like Lan Shang, Li Luo, and even Ying Kong Shi, whom he claimed Ka Suo had killed. Provoked beyond endurance, Ka Suo lunged at Fire King.

Back in the City of Bladed Snow, Ka Suo used his magic to restore the Mermaid Saint's spiritual power, though he advised her to seek further treatment from Mermaid Tribe healers. He then questioned her about Fire King's ominous words concerning an "illusory city outside the Three Realms." The Mermaid Saint responded with an analogy, asking whether flowers reflected in a mirror or real flowers were prettier.

Ka Suo found both equally beautiful, but the Saint explained that living beings desired only one "true flower." She elaborated that the Three Realms they inhabited were like flowers in a mirror, and the Mermaid Tribe's Teardrop Charm was the key to this understanding. She admitted she knew little more and suggested Ka Suo consult his father, the Ice King, for further answers.

Later, Ka Suo expressed his discomfort to his parents about being addressed as "King" instead of "Ka Suo." His father and mother exchanged a look, and the Ice King told him firmly that he was their King now, and he must and would grow accustomed to it.

Ka Suo accepted this, then reiterated his unease about Fire King's words, explaining that Fire King was seeking an "entrance" and that Ka Suo felt a hidden power watching him, which he suspected was the ancient god Yuan Ji, whom Shi had mentioned. He asked his father why Yuan Ji had been imprisoned on Lian Qiu Rock, but the Ice King claimed not to clearly remember events from tens of thousands of years ago.

After Ka Suo departed, the Ice Queen confronted the Ice King, asking why he had lied to their son. The Ice King confessed he truly didn't know the reason for Yuan Ji's imprisonment but vowed to investigate it himself. He emphasized that Ka Suo was the last surviving member of the Ice royal family and could not be exposed to such danger.

The Ice Queen smiled gently, touched, realizing that in his heart, he cherished her and their children as much as the Ice Tribe. Meanwhile, Ka Suo, unbeknownst to them, was already contemplating that if Yuan Ji was sealed beneath Lian Qiu Rock, he might uncover something by venturing underwater himself.
