> Ice Fantasy Recap

Ka Suo and Xing Jiu returned to the City of Bladed Snow after finding no gods or signs of life on Lian Qiu Island. The Ice King expressed his deep concern, explaining that the island had held a legendary, long-lost "crazy god from the ancient Ice-Flame Tribe" whose power vastly surpassed both the Ice and Fire Tribes. He admitted that even if he and Fire King Huo Yi combined their strength, they would not be able to defeat this being.

Xing Jiu then raised the matter of Xuan Ta's murder in the Illusion Sky, suggesting a connection to the newly unbound crazy god. Ka Suo defended Ying Kong Shi, reminding them that Ying Kong Shi had accused the Fire Tribe. The Ice King interjected, emphasizing that Ying Kong Shi's account was unverified, as no one else had witnessed the mysterious assassin.

Xing Jiu pointed out that the sudden and significant increase in Ying Kong Shi's power, coupled with the god's disappearance, was too coincidental to ignore, implying he had a powerful supporter. Ka Suo dismissed this as mere assumption, declaring that he would not believe Ying Kong Shi capable of harming the Ice Tribe without concrete evidence.

The Ice King then revealed that he had abdicated his throne to Ying Kong Shi out of no other choice, hinting that Ying Kong Shi was not of the Ice Tribe. Ka Suo, however, reaffirmed his unwavering trust in Ying Kong Shi, vowing to prove that the Ice King's decision was the right one.

Meanwhile, Ka Suo went to Ying Kong Shi's chambers to find him, but the King was not there, and the guards had no idea of his whereabouts. Unbeknownst to Ka Suo, Ying Kong Shi, disguised as Ka Suo, was at that very moment with Lan Shang in the mermaid’s private villa, amidst a cherry blossom grove. The two shared a tender moment as she danced. Lan Shang invited him to dance with her, saying, "Ka Suo, let's dance!"

When he claimed he couldn't, she playfully called him a "liar" and urged him to hurry. After they danced, "Ka Suo" tenderly confessed his feelings for Lan Shang. He promised to marry her once he recovered his spiritual powers, vowing to care for her forever. He presented her with a love token, asking, "Are you willing?" Lan Shang, blushing and overjoyed, replied, "I am willing." "Ka Suo" then asked for her Teardrop Charm as her love token.

Lan Shang hesitated, explaining that she did not possess it yet. When pressed, she revealed the Mermaid Tribe's secret: a Teardrop Charm is not a mere gemstone but a tear shed on the wedding night, when a mermaid loses her virginity and her tail transforms into permanent legs. Realizing the devastating implication, Ying Kong Shi was horrified by his own intentions. Overwhelmed with guilt, he abruptly left, muttering to himself, "What is wrong with me?

In order to obtain the Teardrop Charm, I considered taking away Lan Shang's virginity." He failed to notice Shuo Gang, who had been secretly following them and overheard the entire conversation. Shuo Gang, elated, realized this secret would allow him to retrieve the Teardrop Charm before Ying Kong Shi, thereby proving his worth to Fire King Huo Yi. Lan Shang was left alone, distraught and convinced that Ka Suo was angry with her.

As she sat crying, Shuo Gang approached, disguised as Ka Suo, and covered her eyes. Believing it was Ka Suo, Lan Shang tearfully apologized for her earlier hesitation, confessing her love and saying, "If you want to marry me, I'm willing to give myself to you. You are the king that I am deeply in love with." Believing she could feel his heartbeat, she told him, "I believe you." Shuo Gang took advantage of her vulnerability.

After the encounter, Lan Shang woke up, feeling happy and marveling at her new human legs. She joyfully exclaimed that gaining legs and living on land was "so easy." Unbeknownst to her, Shuo Gang had already stolen her Teardrop Charm and departed to present it to Huo Yi in the Blazing City.

Meanwhile, at the border between the divine and mortal realms, Ka Suo grew suspicious when Qin Chu vehemently prevented realm guardians from entering the Forest of Snow and Fog to hunt, offering no clear reason beyond preventing accidents. Ka Suo decided to investigate alone. Deep within the forest, he encountered a transformed Li Luo, who, in her beastly state, accidentally severely injured him before both fell unconscious.

Li Luo awoke first and, seeing Ka Suo gravely wounded, wept uncontrollably, repeatedly apologizing for her actions. When Ka Suo regained consciousness, he gently chided her for her self-sacrifice, revealing that he knew she had made a deal with the Fallen Oracle to save him. He reiterated his desire to marry her, pledging to care for her forever, regardless of her transformation.

However, Li Luo refused, lamenting that the Fallen Oracle's curse had turned her into a beast, rendering her unworthy to be his wife and capable only of bringing him harm. Ka Suo insisted that the curse did not define her true self, promising to protect her and to leave with her every night and wait for her every dawn until she fully returned to her former self.

Back on the cherry blossom island, a joyous Lan Shang, reveling in her new legs, encountered Ying Kong Shi by the sea. Ying Kong Shi, still unaware of Shuo Gang's actions, conveyed a fabricated apology from Ka Suo for "violating" her. Lan Shang, blushing, assured him it was "alright" and thanked Ka Suo for a "night filled with happiness," leaving Ying Kong Shi bewildered about the true events of the previous night.

Later, in the City of Bladed Snow, Ying Kong Shi organized a snowball game to uplift Ka Suo's spirits, instructing everyone not to mention Li Luo. Lan Shang, with a bashful expression, announced that Ka Suo had overcome his sadness and was in a much better mood. Chao Ya remarked on Lan Shang's energetic demeanor, to which Lan Shang happily confirmed that her legs were now much more functional, enabling her to live on land without difficulty.

The joyous atmosphere was shattered when Ka Suo arrived at the game with Li Luo and publicly declared her his fiancée. Lan Shang watched in disbelief, her joyful expression replaced by shock and then anger. She confronted Ka Suo, questioning why he would treat her so cruelly today after what he had done for her yesterday. A bewildered Ka Suo denied ever being with her the previous night, stating he had been with Li Luo the entire time.

Lan Shang, heartbroken and furious, cried out "I hate you!" and fled the scene. Ying Kong Shi followed the distraught Lan Shang to the seaside, where she wept, accusing "Ka Suo" of loving and promising to marry her only to lie and abandon her for Li Luo. As she spoke, Ying Kong Shi revealed the deception, transforming into Ka Suo and then back into his true form before her eyes.

Realizing the deception, Lan Shang was stunned, then attacked him in a fit of rage. Ying Kong Shi deflected her, sending her tumbling towards the water. She cried out in terror, "Water! I can't touch water right now!" and pleaded for help. Ying Kong Shi, perplexed, asked why a mermaid would fear water.

Lan Shang, her eyes filled with resentment, explained that a mermaid who sheds her Teardrop Charm permanently loses her tail, her identity as a mermaid, and the ability to return to the ocean. Ying Kong Shi was shocked by this revelation, realizing that someone had indeed taken her virginity and the Teardrop Charm.

Lan Shang, still believing Ying Kong Shi was responsible for the assault, bitterly accused him of being as evil as the Fire King, having taken his brother's throne and now betrayed her trust. Ying Kong Shi vehemently denied having violated her, but Lan Shang, inconsolable, refused to believe him and departed. Left alone, Ying Kong Shi pondered who could have truly stolen Lan Shang's virginity and the Teardrop Charm.

Upon inspecting the cherry blossom island, he discovered a half-burned leaf on a stone bed, confirming the involvement of someone from the Fire Tribe. Meanwhile, Lian Ji, in disguise, went to the Forest of Snow and Fog to interrogate a group of sprites about Xing Jiu and Xuan Ta's investigation. She cleverly manipulated them, first praising their loyalty, then hinting that Xuan Ta's assassin was an internal spy, not from the Fire Tribe.

The alarmed sprites agreed that the spy needed to be found. When Lian Ji pressed them, they recalled that only Xing Jiu, Xuan Ta, and a girl named Li Luo knew about the spy, and that Xing Jiu had seen the spy meeting with the Fire King in Li Luo's dream. Having extracted the crucial information, Lian Ji ruthlessly killed all the sprites, warning them, "In your next lifetime, remember to watch what you say," before leaving.
