Li Luo prepared to depart for the North Forbidden Land, apologizing to Snow Goose that she could not bring him along. Qin Chu arrived, questioning her decision to go alone, emphasizing the North Forbidden Land's extreme danger as a "graveyard of the Divine Realm."

Li Luo explained that Snow Goose deserved freedom in meadows, not the peril of the North Forbidden Land, and asked Qin Chu to take good care of him, urging Snow Goose to behave and wait for her return. Qin Chu acknowledged the loyalty of unicorns but ultimately trusted Snow Goose's spirit to be with her, promising to wait for them both to return.

Yue Shen, Huang Tuo, Xing Jiu, Princess Chao Ya, and Pian Feng, along with other friends, arrived to bid Li Luo farewell. Huang Tuo presented her with the Healer Tribe's Hundred Spirit Powder for any illness, while Xing Jiu offered a protective cloak from the Dream Tribe. Princess Chao Ya and Pian Feng jointly gave her an Encyclopedia of the Divine Realm, a magical book that answers questions when asked.

Liao Jian contributed by roasting meat and preparing alcohol, inviting everyone to celebrate. Li Luo thanked her friends, expressing that she would never forget this night. Yue Shen then offered Li Luo a gift: a promise to fulfill any wish she has not yet realized. Li Luo revealed her deepest wish is for Ka Suo's well-being, admitting she felt she hadn't properly cared for her King.

Both Li Luo and Yue Shen shared a premonition about a mysterious power aiming to harm Ka Suo and that the same force might have been responsible for stealing Ka Suo's magic and killing the fifth Fire Prince, Xin Jue. Li Luo was then reminded of a past memory during the Ice-Fire War where she witnessed a figure meeting with the Fire King.

She described this enigmatic power to Yue Shen as both "friendly yet threatening," constantly lurking near Ka Suo, though she could not pinpoint its source. Ka Suo, still under the Ice King's prohibition spell, was visited by Ying Kong Shi.

Despite guards warning him that no one was allowed near Ka Suo by royal decree, Ying Kong Shi forcefully broke the spell, telling his brother he knew Li Luo was about to depart and asking if Ka Suo wanted to see her one last time. He then urged Ka Suo to leave quickly. Ka Suo found Li Luo who was already bidding him a silent farewell from a distance, wishing him well and expressing her sorrow.

He called out her name and pursued her across the snowy landscape. When he finally caught her, Li Luo immediately urged him to return, fearing the punishment he would face for breaking the Ice King’s spell for her. As they struggled, they tumbled into the snow, their shared past flashing through their minds. Amidst the falling snow, Ka Suo passionately kissed her. In a grove of plum trees, they shared their deepest feelings.

Ka Suo shared a childhood dream of stopping time to preserve beautiful moments, to which Li Luo responded that such memories can also be cherished in their hearts. Li Luo stated she would depart for the North Forbidden Land at daybreak and wished Ka Suo happiness with Princess Lan Shang. Ka Suo immediately forbade her from speaking such words, reaffirming his deep love for her since their first meeting.

Li Luo expressed her concern about their differing statuses, him a divine prince and future King, and her a mere mortal. Ka Suo, however, saw his lost magic as a gift, allowing him to be a mortal like her. He then expressed his desire to accompany her to the North Forbidden Land. Li Luo refused, not wanting both him and Ying Kong Shi to be accused of betraying the Ice Tribe.

She promised to return swiftly after completing her task for the King and to help him regain his spiritual power, asking him to wait. Ka Suo passionately insisted she must return. After a final, lingering kiss, they reluctantly parted ways as dawn approached. At daybreak, Li Luo embarked on her journey to the North Forbidden Land, leaving Ka Suo behind in his sleep.

Unknown to many, her exile was not a punishment but a secret mission given by the Ice King and Queen. They revealed to her that the North Forbidden Land is where gods who have violated laws are exiled, including the most knowledgeable god of the Ice Tribe, She Yin. The Ice King explained that She Yin knew the most secretive Ice Tribe magic and thus likely possessed the knowledge to restore Ka Suo's spiritual power.

Li Luo's mission was to find She Yin and implore him to share this method. She inwardly vowed to complete this task and help Ka Suo regain his power, promising him she would return. Upon his return to the City of Bladed Snow, Ka Suo found the Ice Queen waiting for him all night and expressed his apologies. Meanwhile, Ying Kong Shi was confined in a massive ice prison for releasing Ka Suo.

He confronted his father, the Ice King, questioning when he would be freed and denying any wrongdoing. Ying Kong Shi accused his parents of depriving him and Ka Suo of their freedom, asserting that he was not Ka Suo and would not be coerced. The Ice King countered that Ying Kong Shi's very existence was a betrayal to him and the Ice Tribe, even regretting allowing him to stay in the City of Bladed Snow.

Fueled by anger, Ying Kong Shi shattered the ice prison with a powerful magical burst. As the Ice King prepared to retaliate, Ka Suo swiftly intervened, shielding Ying Kong Shi and taking responsibility for everything. As punishment, Ka Suo was then confined in an ice cell. Ying Kong Shi was visibly upset. He asked Ka Suo if he would still consider him a brother if he were no longer Ying Kong Shi.

Ka Suo reminded him of a time when Ying Kong Shi was possessed by sword spirits, asking if he treated him as a brother then. Ying Kong Shi confirmed he did, and Ka Suo then reassured him, declaring that no matter what transpires, Ying Kong Shi would always remain his brother.

Moved by this, Ying Kong Shi silently resolved that he would not allow the City of Bladed Snow to constrain Ka Suo any longer, vowing to achieve what he wished to give his brother. Princess Lan Shang went to visit Ka Suo but encountered Ying Kong Shi instead. She confronted him, accusing him of trying to usurp the throne from Ka Suo and take everything he possessed.

Ying Kong Shi implied she may have to marry him, someone she finds "annoying," which she vehemently rejected. Lan Shang, deeply hurt, asked why he was behaving this way. Ying Kong Shi bluntly told her that Ka Suo did not like her. Tearfully, Lan Shang asked why she was denied the freedom to love Ka Suo when Ka Suo was free to love whomever he chooses, leaving Ying Kong Shi visibly unsettled.

Despite his internal conflict, he believed he must create obstacles for Lan Shang to clear the path for Ka Suo and Li Luo. Lian Ji continued to monitor Ying Kong Shi's undeveloped Ice Nucleus, attributing its stagnation to a mere "problem" and concealing his true identity. She urged him to prepare for the throne, having "bet her whole life of honor" on him.

When Ying Kong Shi reiterated his lack of desire to be King, Lian Ji threatened that he would never discover the method to restore Ka Suo's spiritual power if he refused. Driven to his limit, Ying Kong Shi then unleashed a powerful Fire Tribe magic in front of Lian Ji, revealing he had known for a while.

He declared himself a god of the Fire Tribe, acknowledging he was not the Ice King's son, and now understood why his father and siblings always treated him with disdain. He refused to be forced into the Ice King's position or to be a "fool of himself" any longer, declaring an end to her schemes. Lian Ji watched, stunned and dismayed by his revelation and the abandonment of her meticulously planned ambitions.

Lian Ji's mind drifted back to her past, recalling her passionate love for the Fire King, Huo Yi. She remembered telling Huo Yi that they could no longer see each other as the Mermaid Saint had accepted a marriage proposal from the Ice Prince Lin Chao on her behalf. Huo Yi vehemently declared her his own, insisting Lin Chao was not worthy of her.

In a moment of intense emotion, she transformed her mermaid tail into legs and conceived Ying Kong Shi with him. Her joy was short-lived, however, as Huo Yi vanished without a trace, leaving her heartbroken and abandoned. She called out his name in her memory, ultimately expressing her profound hatred for him for his sudden disappearance.
