Inside the bridal chamber, Lan Shang anxiously waited for Ying Kong Shi, but the Fire King arrived before him. Lan Shang cleverly bought time by claiming she needed to change clothes and prepare properly. Ying Kong Shi finally appeared, having encountered his mother who learned of their plan, and swiftly swapped places with Lan Shang just as the Fire King entered.
The Fire King, believing it to be Lan Shang, was caught off guard as the disguised prince seduced him, creating an opening to attack his weak spot—the Spider Fire Seal on his right palm. Believing he had succeeded, Ying Kong Shi declared that one blow was for his brother and the other for all the sacrificed members of his tribe.
He expressed a wish for the Fire King to suffer in eternal fire, but his victory was short-lived, as the Fire King defiantly claimed, "I "am" the Eternal Fire!" Meanwhile, the allied forces of Liao Jian, Huang Tuo, Xing Jiu, and Chao Ya had gathered at the gates of the City of Bladed Snow, anticipating Ying Kong Shi's success. However, Yan Da and her Fire Tribe soldiers appeared, blocking their path.
Yue Shen volunteered to stay behind and confront Yan Da, allowing the others to rush to Ying Kong Shi's aid. In the Endless Cave, Ka Suo, despite having little spiritual power left, chose to enter his worst fears, allowing Grandma to guide him. Grandma warned him that doing so could harm his spirit and questioned if there was any other way to lure out the sword spirits, but Ka Suo was resolute.
In his extreme fear space, Ka Suo witnessed Ying Kong Shi battling the Fire King, overwhelmed and trapped by flames. Overcome with fear at the thought of losing Ying Kong Shi, Ka Suo's profound emotion successfully drew out the seven dispersed sword spirits. The sword spirits, attracted by his "amazing aura of fear," declared that a "fresh body filled with fear will taste great."
They explained that when their boss got drunk, he would split into seven spirits representing joy, anger, grief, fear, love, evil, and desire. The main sword spirit, however, scorned Ka Suo, stating he had no scent of a god and was a "useless piece of trash" with no right to wield the sword.
Ka Suo retorted, reminding them that as essences of the earth and sky, part of the Three Realms, they should not care only about eating when the realms were in chaos. The sword spirits dismissed his concerns, believing all rulers were the same and only sought to exploit their power, adding that a mortal like him could not handle the sword's might. Despite their warnings, Ka Suo insisted he was willing to try.
He then made a desperate attempt to forcibly obtain the God Devouring Sword, unleashing all his remaining spiritual power to absorb it into his body. The Fire King, having possessed Ying Kong Shi's body after the attack, mocked the arriving allied forces, calling them a "bunch of idiots" for thinking Ying Kong Shi could defeat him. He declared he would have the possessed prince kill them all.
Ying Kong Shi, momentarily regaining consciousness, desperately cried out to his allies to kill him first, and then the Fire King. Huang Tuo, with the help of Liao Jian, Chao Ya, and Xing Jiu, used the Recovery of Injuries Spell to separate the Fire King from Ying Kong Shi. The Fire King, though injured, proved too powerful for them, defeating them one by one. Just then, Ka Suo descended from the sky, wielding the God Devouring Sword.
The sword unleashed a rain of blades, which the Fire King frantically countered with fire. However, Ka Suo's spiritual power was depleted, and he collapsed. A dazed Ying Kong Shi awakened, grasped the God Devouring Sword, and became its new master. The sword, becoming "deliciously" excited after absorbing the Fire King's blood, controlled Ying Kong Shi's mind, greatly amplifying his power. He not only broke one of the Fire King's Fire Cloud Seals but also successfully wounded him.
As Ying Kong Shi, now possessed by the sword's bloodlust, moved to deliver a killing blow, Yan Da suddenly appeared and shielded the Fire King, pleading with Ying Kong Shi, calling him "Yun Fei" and asking if he remembered her. The sword spirits urged Ying Kong Shi to kill her, but he refused, unable to harm Yan Da. This moment of mercy allowed Yan Da to save the gravely wounded Fire King and escape.
Li Luo and other realm guardians searched for Ka Suo, sensing the aura of the sword spirits in the air, confirming his return. They soon found a heavily injured Ka Suo, who immediately rushed to the ice prison to rescue the Ice King and Ice Queen. To his dismay, both had been poisoned by the Fire King's Fire Snakes and were attacking him in their delirium. Ying Kong Shi arrived just in time with the God Devouring Sword.
He used the Fire Tribe blood remaining on the sword to remove the Fire Snake's poison, restoring the Ice King and Ice Queen. With their family reunited, the City of Bladed Snow was back in the Ice Tribe's control, bringing smiles of relief to the five tribal leaders as order was slowly restored. In the Fire Tribe, Shuo Gang rallied his brothers, who had left their posts guarding the Ten-Layered Tower of the City of Ashes, to heal their father.
Yan Da also offered to help, but Shuo Gang and his brothers rejected her, claiming it was "brothers' business" and not a "woman's business." The Fire King, recovering, reprimanded them for abandoning their posts, reminding them that the protective enchantment of the City of Ashes would be destroyed if the tower's fire ran out, and that the Fire Tribe's goals must be achieved at all costs.
As a reward for saving him, the Fire King transferred a Fire Cloud Seal to Shuo Gang, manifesting as a flame arm. Gravely injured, the Fire King decided to enter seclusion in the Flame Cave to recuperate, entrusting all Fire Tribe affairs to Shuo Gang and Yan Da, instructing them to protect the City of Ashes from the Ice Tribe. With the Ice Tribe's crisis resolved, Li Luo prepared to leave the Divine Realm and return to the Mortal Realm.
Reflecting on the beautiful City of Bladed Snow and the impending separation, she felt a wave of sadness. Qin Chu, another realm guardian who had suffered through trials with her, confessed his love, wishing to spend his life with her and have children like ordinary mortals once peace was restored.
Li Luo, though acknowledging him as a close friend and "like her biological brother" (alongside "Snow Goose," a new name Ka Suo gave to Turnip), did not reciprocate his romantic feelings. Qin Chu, seeing through her pretense, stated that she truly liked Prince Ka Suo. Li Luo denied this, asserting Ka Suo was their king and the future King of the City of Bladed Snow.
Qin Chu countered that Ka Suo had lost his powers and could no longer protect the citizens, suggesting that the true future king of the City of Bladed Snow was Ying Kong Shi. Li Luo refused to believe this, resolute in her decision to follow Ka Suo regardless of his status.
