Zhuo Hao, though his life was saved, remained unconscious, suffering from evil breath that scattered the sober breath in his bones, making it impossible for him to awaken quickly. Witnessing his son's torment, Zhuo Yao, Qinghua Palace's Lord, sacrificed much of his own spiritual power to repair Zhuo Hao's immortal bones. In an instant, his hair turned white, and he became extremely weak.

Zhuo Hao later expressed remorse for being good-for-nothing, but Zhuo Yao, frail and aged, reassured him, saying his old age meant this was the only thing he could leave for his son. Zhuo Yao then publicly announced his retirement, entrusting the position of Qinghua Palace's Lord to Zhuo Hao, emphasizing that Zhuo Hao was destined for great responsibilities and that his decisions would be Qinghua's decisions.

News of the upcoming wedding between Chong Zi and Wang Yue spread rapidly throughout the six worlds, exciting the demons who believed the Demon Queen's return signaled a new era of prosperity. On her wedding day, Chong Zi appeared impassive, reluctantly entering the demon hall. She asked Yin Xinmo to accompany her, stating that mortal women have family by their side, and since she had no parents or master, only he remained.

However, Yin Xinmo declined, explaining that this was her own test and she didn't need him, further pointing out Wang Yue's manipulation to make her realize her dependence.

As Wang Yue began his grand pronouncement, highlighting the Demon World's resurgence and the unification of the six worlds under Queen Zi, Chong Zi swore an oath to the Demon God, vowing to lead the demons with Wang Yue against the immortal sects, accepting that her soul would be scattered across the six worlds if she broke it. Meanwhile, Luo Yinfan was in seclusion at Zizhu Peak, attempting to master the Mirror Heart Skill, though his mind was troubled.

Qin Ke, concerned, wanted to intervene, but Yudu believed Luo Yinfan needed to overcome his own suffering. Qin Ke insisted, believing only Luo Yinfan could stop the wedding. Upon receiving a wedding invitation from Qin Ke and learning the ceremony was taking place that very day, Luo Yinfan rushed to the demon hall. He dramatically interrupted the ceremony, ignoring Wang Yue's initial calm reception and sarcastic remarks about personally delivering invitations.

Luo Yinfan commanded Chong Zi to leave with him, but she sharply retorted, telling him not to call her "Chong'er" and that they had no relationship. Wang Yue warned Luo Yinfan not to cause trouble, but Luo Yinfan declared Chong Zi was never Wang Yue's to begin with and forcibly took her away. Outside, Chong Zi demanded to know what right Luo Yinfan had to take her away.

Luo Yinfan admitted he had none, but pressed her to confirm if marrying Wang Yue was truly her heart's desire. Seeing her hesitation, he kissed her tenderly, then asked if she would marry him and be his wife. Before she could answer, he kissed her again, and they embraced, their long-awaited reunion fulfilling their love spanning two lifetimes.

Wang Yue, witnessing this, remained outwardly calm, assuring his subordinate that Chong Zi would return, as she possessed the Tianmo Token, and that Luo Yinfan's efforts were futile, their joy fleeting. The next morning, Luo Yinfan gently combed Chong Zi's hair. Chong Zi, still processing events, asked if they were now married. Luo Yinfan affectionately asked for her thoughts, assuring her she could call him "Master" or anything she wished.

He apologized for his past mistakes, acknowledging that his actions had caused her pain. Chong Zi confessed her own errors, but Luo Yinfan affirmed his belief in her innocence regarding Chengfeng and Qinghua's disciples, stating they would have killed her if she hadn't defended herself. He confessed that Zizhu Peak felt cold and desolate without her, and that he was willing to give up everything, even Nanhua Mountain, to keep her by his side.

He then instructed her to wait for him in Shuiyue City while he returned to Nanhua to settle affairs, promising their eternal togetherness upon his return. Soon after Luo Yinfan departed, Lady Bai visited Chong Zi, acknowledging Chong Zi's previous rescue of her and King Jinchi. Lady Bai presented Chong Zi with a Longevity Herb, the treasure of Chiyan Mountain, capable of prolonging mortal life and enhancing cultivation and retaining youthful looks for immortals and demons.

Lady Bai, observant of Chong Zi's deep emotions, discerned her true feelings for Luo Yinfan, remarking on the profound love and reluctance in his eyes. She also subtly warned Mu Yu to abandon any inappropriate thoughts towards Chong Zi, cautioning that unrequited desire would only lead to self-inflicted harm. Upon Luo Yinfan's return to Nanhua, he confirmed his intention to marry Chong Zi to Qin Ke.

When questioned about the immense price he might pay, even implicating Nanhua, Luo Yinfan firmly stated his resolve, explaining to Qin Ke that his presence there was proof of his decision. Later, in the Patriarch's Hall, Luo Yinfan knelt before his master's portrait, confessing his past attempts to balance his duty to the common people with his love for Chong Zi, which only resulted in deeper pain for her.

He declared that he had chosen to abandon everything to rescue her from suffering, accepting any heavenly punishment that might befall him, and bidding farewell to his master. Meanwhile, Xueling's health deteriorated, his Xuansi Herbs no longer effective. Yin Shuixian, distraught, learned about the Longevity Herb and sought Chong Zi, pleading for it to save Xueling's life. Chong Zi tested Yin Shuixian's devotion, asking for her life in exchange.

Yin Shuixian readily agreed, only asking that Xueling be given the herb after her death. Impressed by her selflessness, Chong Zi gave her the herb, though questioning how long Yin Shuixian could continue living such a devoted existence, as Xueling was merely being kept alive. Yin Shuixian declared that her life's purpose was for Xueling, and true love meant living for the other.

However, Xueling, despite his weakening state, recognized that an herb with life-prolonging properties went against the natural order and could not be from the immortal sects. He deduced Yin Shuixian's true nature as a demon, accusing her of lying about its origin. He refused to take the Longevity Herb, expressing his shame and his unwillingness to let her commit acts against the laws of nature for him.

He preferred death over her bearing unforgivable sins, valuing their marriage as sufficient happiness. Yin Xinmo, witnessing Yin Shuixian's anguish, confronted Xueling, criticizing him for forgetting their past and leaving Yin Shuixian to shoulder such burdens alone. He vowed to restore Xueling's memories. Mu Yu later informed Chong Zi of Yin Shuixian and Xueling's complex past.

He recounted how, at a Tianshan sect recruitment, Xueling chose Leng Wanli, but Yin Shuixian, captivated by Xueling, boldly demanded to be his disciple, even threatening to kill a disciple daily if refused. Xueling, seeing her flaws as an opportunity for guidance, accepted her. However, Yin Shuixian's mediocrity and jealousy of Leng Wanli led her to bully and injure him during practice, forcing him to feign incompetence. Xueling, upset by her actions and Leng Wanli's injury, punished Yin Shuixian with confinement, while Leng Wanli, despite the abuse, remained silently devoted to Yin Shuixian.
