On the weekend, grandpa and Lin Ye came to visit Lin Tuo at home. Grandpa accidentally saw his diagnosis certificate and daily medication, and he felt very uncomfortable. Zhou Fumeng suggested that Lin Tuo walk as little as possible, so Chen Guangpu used a wheelchair to push him out. He Xindi accidentally saw this scene and sent a message to notify An Zhique.

Jiang Chucheng explained Lin Tuo's condition to Wei Haiyang and volunteered to join design group three to facilitate taking care of Lin Tuo. She would rather suffer for three to five years than have a lifelong regret. An Hegui had no choice but to compromise. Early in the morning, An Zhique packed her luggage and moved to Lin Tuo's home. Lin Tuo didn't want to burden her and wanted to have a good talk with her, but An Zhique rushed out under the pretext of buying groceries, not giving him a chance to speak at all.

An Zhique finished cooking and called Lin Tuo. Lin Tuo pretended to be asleep and ignored her. An Zhique had to eat alone. He Xindi came to Lin Tuo's home to cook for him. Chen Guangpu came with her. He Xindi made a large table of dishes. Chen Guangpu praised her profusely and wanted to marry her, but He Xindi flatly refused. An Zhique came to Xu Lilian to discuss Lin Tuo's matter.

Xu Lilian didn't want to burden her and wanted to retire early or quit her job to take care of Lin Tuo. An Zhique advised her not to quit and wanted to take Lin Tuo to work at the coffee shop. Xu Lilian felt grateful to her. An Zhique came to see grandpa and lied that Lin Tuo was on a business trip. Grandpa knew about Lin Tuo's illness but didn't say it directly.

Lin Shouzheng learned that An Zhique had come and went to grandpa's house to find her. An Zhique sent grandpa out to make tea. Lin Shouzheng thanked An Zhique for taking care of Lin Tuo. He wanted to give up his candidacy for dean to find a treatment plan for Lin Tuo. An Zhique asked him to work with peace of mind and said she was willing to take care of Lin Tuo until the end.

An Zhique went home and talked with Lin Tuo, encouraging him to cheer up and face everything that came next together. Lin Tuo was moved to tears. From that day on, An Zhique pushed Lin Tuo to the coffee shop every day. Ah Bao, the shop assistant, prepared a hearty breakfast and proactively offered to take care of Lin Tuo with An Zhique. Lin Tuo felt warmth in his heart.
