> Addicted Heroin Recap

Following his explosive fight with Gu Hai over their parents' marriage, Bai Luoyin skips school for two days, prompting his friend You Qi to grow concerned. You Qi questions Yang Meng about Bai Luoyin’s whereabouts, but Yang Meng admits he doesn't know, frustrating You Qi. Dismissing Yang Meng’s suggestion to wait until the weekend, a worried You Qi insists they go to Bai Luoyin’s home immediately.

At Bai Luoyin's home, they are greeted by his father, who affectionately calls his son by the nickname "Da Guinv" (big daughter), much to You Qi's amusement. The father assures them that Bai Luoyin is not sick, just exhausted and sleeping. When Bai Luoyin awakens, he is surprised by the visit. You Qi explains his concern and asks directly if a quarrel with Gu Hai is the cause, noting the "unusual" nature of their relationship. Bai Luoyin deflects the question.

Before leaving, You Qi gives Bai Luoyin Gu Hai’s homework, remarking that it's strange Bai Luoyin doesn't know Gu Hai's whereabouts, as Gu Hai had been attending school during Bai Luoyin’s absence. Meanwhile, Gu Hai's friends discuss his breakup with Jin Lulu, expressing relief that the toxic relationship is over and criticizing her arrogance. Elsewhere, a distraught Gu Hai, who has decided to transfer schools to escape the situation, isolates himself in a hotel.

Overcome with despair, he drunkenly calls out Bai Luoyin's name, confessing how much he misses him. Having overheard teachers discussing Gu Hai's potential transfer, a conflicted Bai Luoyin uses the excuse of delivering items from a teacher to visit Gu Hai at the hotel. The meeting is tense, with Gu Hai dismissing the items as "crap."

As Bai Luoyin turns to leave, Gu Hai stops him, grabbing him in a hug and demanding to know why he is being treated so coldly. Gu Hai breaks down, confessing the depth of his pain and revealing that he has not cried for anyone since his mother's death. He tells Bai Luoyin how much his presence has enriched his life and how lost he feels without him. Softened by the confession, Bai Luoyin returns home late.

His father, sensing a rift, asks if he fought with Gu Hai and urges him not to abandon a good friend over a trivial matter. Bai Luoyin then reveals the truth: Gu Hai's father married his mother. He clarifies that neither of them knew about their parents' relationship at first. To his surprise, his father accepts the news calmly, calling it "destiny" and defending his ex-wife's right to find happiness.

Bai Luoyin, however, remains resentful toward his mother, calling her selfish. His father points out that Gu Hai is also a victim in this and that Bai Luoyin should apologize, but he stubbornly refuses. Frustrated, his father gives him an ultimatum: bring Gu Hai back within three days. The next morning, while on his way to find Gu Hai, Bai Luoyin is suddenly kidnapped by two thugs.

After a fierce struggle, he is overpowered, bound, and taken to the hotel where Gu Hai is waiting. Gu Hai declares his intention to imprison Bai Luoyin to prevent him from leaving. He then confesses his true feelings, admitting he never saw Bai Luoyin as just a friend and has a strong desire to be intimate with him.

Bai Luoyin interrupts the provocative confession to reveal that he was actually on his way to apologize, explaining that his father had accepted the situation and wanted Gu Hai to come home with them. He then adds sarcastically that his journey was cut short by a "psychopath" who had him kidnapped. Skeptical, Gu Hai calls Bai Luoyin’s father, who confirms the story and says how much he misses Gu Hai.

Overjoyed, Gu Hai immediately unties Bai Luoyin, affectionately calling him "my Yin" and "baby." When Bai Luoyin tries to leave, Gu Hai stops him, demanding a response to his passionate confession. Gu Hai dismisses the fact that they are both male, using an absurd analogy of a dog and a cat dating, and asks if Bai Luoyin likes him.

When Bai Luoyin says no, Gu Hai playfully threatens to keep him captive until he does, vowing to "smash" him with overwhelming love until he gives in. Following their reconciliation, Gu Hai brings Bai Luoyin to his father's home for dinner. During the meal, Gu Hai takes a piece of sea cucumber from Bai Luoyin’s bowl.

When his father asks why, Gu Hai explains that Bai Luoyin doesn't like it and it gives him diarrhea, demonstrating his intimate knowledge of his friend's body. Delighted by their closeness, Gu Hai's father inquires about their birthdays. They discover they were both born in the fifth lunar month.

Gu Hai claims his birthday is May 1st, same as Bai Luoyin's, but is quickly called out, as his real birthday is May 6th, making Bai Luoyin the elder of the two. Later, Bai Luoyin’s mother suggests that both boys move into the new family home for convenience, but Bai Luoyin, his resentment still palpable, firmly refuses. Gu Hai immediately supports his decision, telling their parents he has already settled back into his own place and that they shouldn't worry. Seeing their resolve, the parents reluctantly agree to let them continue living on their own.
